1After this Jesus revealed himself again to the disciples by the Sea of Tiberias, and he revealed himself in this way. 2 Simon Peter, Thomas (called the Twin), Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, the sons of Zebedee, and two others of his disciples were together. 3 Simon Peter said to them, “I am going fishing.” They said to him, “We will go with you.” They went out and got into the boat, but that night they caught nothing. 4 Just as day was breaking, Jesus stood on the shore; yet the disciples did not know that it was Jesus. 5 Jesus said to them, “Children, do you have any fish?” They answered him, “No.” 6 He said to them, “Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and you will find some.” So they cast it, and now they were not able to haul it in, because of the quantity of fish. 7 That disciple whom Jesus loved therefore said to Peter, “It is the Lord!” When Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he put on his outer garment, for he was stripped for work, and threw himself into the sea. 8 The other disciples came in the boat, dragging the net full of fish, for they were not far from the land, but about a hundred yards off. 9 When they got out on land, they saw a charcoal fire in place, with fish laid out on it, and bread. 10 Jesus said to them, “Bring some of the fish that you have just caught.” 11 So Simon Peter went aboard and hauled the net ashore, full of large fish,153 of them. And although there were so many, the net was not torn. 12 Jesus said to them, “Come and have breakfast.” Now none of the disciples dared ask him, “Who are you?” They knew it was the Lord. 13 Jesus came and took the bread and gave it to them, and so with the fish. 14 This was now the third time that Jesus was revealed to the disciples after he was raised from the dead.
1그 뒤에 예수께서 디베랴 바다에서 다시 제자들에게 자기를 나타내셨는데, 그가 나타나신 경위는 이러하다. 2 시몬 베드로와 쌍둥이라고 불리는 도마와 갈릴리 가나 사람 나다나엘과 세베대의 아들들과 제자들 가운데서 다른 두 사람이 한 자리에 있었다. 3 시몬 베드로가 그들에게 말하기를 “나는 고기를 잡으러 가겠소” 하니, 그들이 “우리도 함께 가겠소” 하고 말하였다. 그들은 나가서 배를 탔다. 그러나 그 날 밤에는 고기를 한 마리도 잡지 못하였다. 4 이미 동틀 무렵이 되었다. 그 때에 예수께서 바닷가에 들어서셨으나, 제자들은 그가 예수이신 줄을 알지 못하였다. 5 그 때에 예수께서 제자들에게 물으셨다. “얘들아, 무얼 좀 잡았느냐?” 그들이 대답하였다. “못 잡았습니다.” 6 예수께서 그들에게 말씀하셨다. “그물을 배 오른쪽에 던져라. 그리하면 잡을 것이다.” 제자들이 그물을 던지니, 고기가 너무 많이 걸려서, 그물을 끌어올릴 수가 없었다. 7 예수가 사랑하시는 제자가 베드로에게 “저분은 주님이시다” 하고 말하였다. 시몬 베드로는 주님이시라는 말을 듣고서, 벗었던 몸에다가 겉옷을 두르고, 바다로 뛰어내렸다. 8 그러나 나머지 제자들은 작은 배를 탄 채로, 고기가 든 그물을 끌면서, 해안으로 나왔다. 그들은 육지에서 백 자 남짓밖에 떨어지지 않은 곳에 들어가서 고기를 잡고 있었던 것이다. 9 그들이 땅에 올라와서 보니, 숯불을 피워 놓았는데, 그 위에 생선이 놓여 있고, 빵도 있었다. 10 예수께서 제자들에게 말씀하셨다. “너희가 지금 잡은 생선을 조금 가져오너라.” 11 시몬 베드로가 배에 올라가서, 그물을 땅으로 끌어내렸다. 그물 안에는, 큰 고기가 백 쉰 세 마리나 들어 있었다. 고기가 그렇게 많았으나, 그물이 찢어지지 않았다. 12 예수께서 그들에게 말씀하셨다. “와서 아침을 먹어라.” 제자들 가운데서 아무도 감히 “선생님은 누구십니까?” 하고 묻는 사람이 없었다. 그가 주님이신 것을 알았기 때문이다. 13 예수께서 가까이 오셔서, 빵을 집어서 그들에게 주시고, 이와 같이 생선도 주셨다. 14 예수께서 죽은 사람들 가운데서 살아나신 뒤에 제자들에게 자기를 나타내신 것은, 이번이 세 번째였다.
