1In that day this song will be sung in the land of Judah: “We have a strong city; he sets up salvation as walls and bulwarks. 2 Open the gates, that the righteous nation that keeps faith may enter in. 3 You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you. 4 Trust in the LORD forever, for the LORD GOD is an everlasting rock. 5 For he has humbled the inhabitants of the height, the lofty city. He lays it low, lays it low to the ground, casts it to the dust. 6 The foot tramples it, the feet of the poor, the steps of the needy.” 7 The path of the righteous is level; you make level the way of the righteous. 8 In the path of your judgments, O LORD, we wait for you; your name and remembrance are the desire of our soul. 9 My soul yearns for you in the night; my spirit within me earnestly seeks you. For when your judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world learn righteousness. 10 If favor is shown to the wicked, he does not learn righteousness; in the land of uprightness he deals corruptly and does not see the majesty of the LORD. 11 O LORD, your hand is lifted up, but they do not see it. Let them see your zeal for your people, and be shamed. Let the fire for your adversaries consume them. 12 O LORD, you will ordain peace for us, for you have indeed done for us all our works. 13 O LORD our God, other lords besides you have ruled over us, but your name alone we bring to remembrance. 14 They are dead, they will not live; they are shades, they will not arise; to that end you have visited them with destruction and wiped out all remembrance of them. 15 But you have increased the nation, O LORD, you have increased the nation; you are glorified; you have enlarged all the borders of the land. 16 O LORD, in distress they sought you; they poured out a whispered prayer when your discipline was upon them. 17 Like a pregnant woman who writhes and cries out in her pangs when she is near to giving birth, so were we because of you, O LORD; 18 we were pregnant, we writhed, but we have given birth to wind. We have accomplished no deliverance in the earth, and the inhabitants of the world have not fallen. 19 Your dead shall live; their bodies shall rise. You who dwell in the dust, awake and sing for joy! For your dew is a dew of light, and the earth will give birth to the dead. 20 Come, my people, enter your chambers, and shut your doors behind you; hide yourselves for a little while until the fury has passed by. 21 For behold, the LORD is coming out from his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity, and the earth will disclose the blood shed on it, and will no more cover its slain. 27 :1In that day the LORD with his hard and great and strong sword will punish Leviathan the fleeing serpent, Leviathan the twisting serpent, and he will slay the dragon that is in the sea.
1그 날이 오면, 유다 땅에서 이런 노래를 부를 것이다. 우리의 성은 견고하다. 주님께서 친히 성벽과 방어벽이 되셔서 우리를 구원하셨다. 2 성문들을 열어라. 믿음을 지키는 의로운 나라가 들어오게 하여라. 3 주님, 주님께 의지하는 사람들은 늘 한결같은 마음을 가진 사람들이니, 그들에게 평화에 평화를 더하여 주시기 바랍니다. 4 너희는 영원토록 주님을 의지하여라. 주 하나님만이 너희를 보호하는 영원한 반석이시다. 5 주님께서는 교만한 자들을 비천하게 만드신다. 교만한 자들이 사는 견고한 성을 허무신다. 먼지바닥에 폭삭 주저앉게 하신다. 6 전에 억압받던 사람들이 이제는 무너진 그 성을 밟고 다닌다. 가난한 사람들이 그 성을 밟고 다닌다. 7 주님, 주님께서는 의로운 사람의 길을 곧게 트이게 하십니다. 의로우신 주님, 주님께서는 의로운 사람의 길을 평탄하게 하십니다. 8 주님, 우리는 주님의 율법을 따르며, 주님께 우리의 희망을 걸겠습니다. 우리가 주님의 이름을 사모하고 주님을 기억하겠습니다. 9 나의 영혼이 밤에 주님을 사모합니다. 나의 마음이 주님을 간절하게 찾습니다. 주님께서 땅을 심판하실 때에, 세상에 사는 사람들이 비로소 의가 무엇인지 배우게 될 것입니다. 10 비록 주님께서 악인에게 은혜를 베푸셔도, 악인들은 옳은 일 하는 것을 배우려 하지 않습니다. 의인들이 사는 땅에 살면서도, 여전히 옳지 않은 일만 합니다. 주님의 위엄 따위는 안중에도 두지 않습니다. 11 주님, 주님께서 심판하시려고 팔을 높이 들어 올리셨으나, 주님의 대적은 그것을 모릅니다. 주님께서 주님의 백성을 얼마나 뜨겁게 사랑하시는지를 주님의 대적에게 보여 주셔서, 그들로 부끄러움을 당하게 하여 주십시오. 주님께서 예비하신 심판의 불로 그들을 없애 주십시오. 12 주님, 주님께서 우리에게 평화를 주실 것을 확신합니다. 우리가 성취한 모든 일은 모두 주님께서 우리에게 하여 주신 것입니다. 13 주 우리의 하나님, 이제까지는 주님 말고 다른 권세자들이 우리를 다스렸습니다. 그러나 앞으로는 우리가 오직 주님의 이름만을 기억하겠습니다. 14 주님께서 그들을 벌하시어 멸망시키시고, 그들을 모두 기억에서 사라지게 하셨으니, 죽은 그들은 다시 살아나지 못하고, 사망한 그들은 다시 일어나지 못할 것입니다. 15 주님, 주님께서 이 민족을 큰 민족으로 만드셨습니다. 주님께서 이 나라를 큰 나라로 만드셨습니다. 주님께서 이 땅의 모든 경계를 확장하셨습니다. 이 일로 주님께서는 영광을 받으셨습니다. 16 그러나 주님, 주님께서 그들을 징계하실 때에, 주님의 백성이 환난 가운데서 주님을 간절히 찾았습니다. 그들이 간절히 주님께 기도하였습니다. 17 마치 임신한 여인이 해산할 때가 닥쳐와서, 고통 때문에 몸부림치며 소리 지르듯이, 주님, 우리도 주님 앞에서 그렇게 괴로워하였습니다. 18 우리가 임신하여 산고를 치렀어도, 아무것도 낳지 못하였습니다. 우리는 이 땅에 구원을 베풀지 못하였고, 이 땅에서 살 주민을 낳지도 못하였습니다. 19 그러나 주님의 백성들 가운데서 죽은 사람들이 다시 살아날 것이며, 그들의 시체가 다시 일어날 것입니다. 무덤 속에서 잠자던 사람들이 깨어나서, 즐겁게 소리 칠 것입니다. 주님의 이슬은 생기를 불어넣는 이슬이므로, 이슬을 머금은 땅이 오래 전에 죽은 사람들을 다시 내놓을 것입니다. 땅이 죽은 자들을 다시 내놓을 것입니다. 20 “나의 백성아! 집으로 가서, 방 안으로 들어가거라. 들어가서 문을 닫고, 나의 진노가 풀릴 때까지 잠시 숨어 있어라.” 21 주님께서 그 처소에서 나오셔서 땅 위에 사는 사람들의 죄악을 벌하실 것이니, 그 때에 땅은 그 속에 스며든 피를 드러낼 것이며, 살해당한 사람들을 더 이상 숨기지 않을 것이다. 27 :1그 날이 오면, 주님께서 좁고 예리한 큰 칼로 벌하실 것이다. 매끄러운 뱀 리워야단, 꼬불꼬불한 뱀 리워야단을 처치하실 것이다. 곧 바다의 괴물을 죽이실 것이다.
