1O LORD, you are my God; I will exalt you; I will praise your name, for you have done wonderful things, plans formed of old, faithful and sure. 2 For you have made the city a heap, the fortified city a ruin; the foreigners' palace is a city no more; it will never be rebuilt. 3 Therefore strong peoples will glorify you; cities of ruthless nations will fear you. 4 For you have been a stronghold to the poor, a stronghold to the needy in his distress, a shelter from the storm and a shade from the heat; for the breath of the ruthless is like a storm against a wall, 5 like heat in a dry place. You subdue the noise of the foreigners; as heat by the shade of a cloud, so the song of the ruthless is put down. 6 On this mountain the LORD of hosts will make for all peoples a feast of rich food, a feast of well-aged wine, of rich food full of marrow, of aged wine well refined. 7 And he will swallow up on this mountain the covering that is cast over all peoples, the veil that is spread over all nations. 8 He will swallow up death forever; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from all faces, and the reproach of his people he will take away from all the earth, for the LORD has spoken. 9 It will be said on that day, “Behold, this is our God; we have waited for him, that he might save us. This is the LORD; we have waited for him; let us be glad and rejoice in his salvation.” 10 For the hand of the LORD will rest on this mountain, and Moab shall be trampled down in his place, as straw is trampled down in a dunghill. 11 And he will spread out his hands in the midst of it as a swimmer spreads his hands out to swim, but the LORD will lay low his pompous pride together with the skill of his hands. 12 And the high fortifications of his walls he will bring down, lay low, and cast to the ground, to the dust.
1주님, 주님은 나의 하나님이십니다. 내가 주님을 높이며, 주님의 이름을 찬양하겠습니다. 주님께서는 놀라운 일들을 이루시고, 예전에 세우신 계획대로 신실하고 진실하게 이루셨습니다. 2 주님께서는 성읍들을 돌무더기로 만드셨고, 견고한 성읍들을 폐허로 만드셨습니다. 우리의 대적들이 지은 도성들을 더 이상 도성이라고 할 수 없게 만드셨으니, 아무도 그것을 재건하지 못할 것입니다. 3 그러므로 강한 민족이 주님을 영화롭게 할 것이며, 포악한 민족들의 성읍이 주님을 경외할 것입니다. 4 참으로 주님께서는 가난한 사람들의 요새이시며, 곤경에 빠진 불쌍한 사람들의 요새이시며, 폭풍우를 피할 피난처이시며, 뙤약볕을 막는 그늘이십니다. 흉악한 자들의 기세는 성벽을 뒤흔드는 폭풍과 같고, 5 사막의 열기와 같습니다. 그러나 주님께서는 이방 사람의 함성을 잠잠하게 하셨습니다. 구름 그늘이 뙤약볕의 열기를 식히듯이, 포악한 자들의 노랫소리를 그치게 하셨습니다. 6 만군의 주님께서 이 세상 모든 민족을 여기 시온 산으로 부르셔서, 풍성한 잔치를 베푸실 것이다. 기름진 것들과 오래된 포도주, 제일 좋은 살코기와 잘 익은 포도주로 잔치를 베푸실 것이다. 7 또 주님께서 이 산에서 모든 백성이 걸친 수의를 찢어서 벗기시고, 모든 민족이 입은 수의를 벗겨서 없애실 것이다. 8 주님께서 죽음을 영원히 멸하신다. 주 하나님께서 모든 사람의 얼굴에서 눈물을 말끔히 닦아 주신다. 그의 백성이 온 세상에서 당한 수치를 없애 주신다. 이것은 주님께서 하신 말씀이다. 9 그 날이 오면, 사람들은 이런 말을 할 것이다. 바로 이분이 우리의 하나님이시다. 우리가 하나님을 의지하였으니, 하나님께서 우리를 구원하신다. 바로 이분이 주님이시다. 우리가 주님을 의지한다. 우리를 구원하여 주셨으니 기뻐하며 즐거워하자. 10 주님께서 시온 산은 보호하시겠지만, 모압은, 마치 지푸라기가 거름 물구덩이에서 짓밟히듯이, 제자리에서 짓밟히게 하실 것이다. 11 헤엄치는 사람이 팔을 휘저어서 헤엄을 치듯이, 모압이 그 거름 물구덩이에서 두 팔을 휘저어 빠져 나오려고 하여도, 주님께서는 모압의 팔을 그의 교만과 함께 가라앉게 하실 것이다. 12 튼튼한 모압의 성벽을 헐어 내셔서, 땅의 먼지바닥에 폭삭 주저앉게 하실 것이다.
