1Let me sing for my beloved my love song concerning his vineyard: My beloved had a vineyard on a very fertile hill. 2 He dug it and cleared it of stones, and planted it with choice vines; he built a watchtower in the midst of it, and hewed out a wine vat in it; and he looked for it to yield grapes, but it yielded wild grapes. 3 And now, O inhabitants of Jerusalem and men of Judah, judge between me and my vineyard. 4 What more was there to do for my vineyard, that I have not done in it? When I looked for it to yield grapes, why did it yield wild grapes? 5 And now I will tell you what I will do to my vineyard. I will remove its hedge, and it shall be devoured; I will break down its wall, and it shall be trampled down. 6 I will make it a waste; it shall not be pruned or hoed, and briers and thorns shall grow up; I will also command the clouds that they rain no rain upon it. 7 For the vineyard of the LORD of hosts is the house of Israel, and the men of Judah are his pleasant planting; and he looked for justice, but behold, bloodshed; for righteousness, but behold, an outcry! 8 Woe to those who join house to house, who add field to field, until there is no more room, and you are made to dwell alone in the midst of the land. 9 The LORD of hosts has sworn in my hearing: “Surely many houses shall be desolate, large and beautiful houses, without inhabitant. 10 For ten acres of vineyard shall yield but one bath, and a homer of seed shall yield but an ephah.” 11 Woe to those who rise early in the morning, that they may run after strong drink, who tarry late into the evening as wine inflames them! 12 They have lyre and harp, tambourine and flute and wine at their feasts, but they do not regard the deeds of the LORD, or see the work of his hands. 13 Therefore my people go into exile for lack of knowledge; their honored men go hungry, and their multitude is parched with thirst. 14 Therefore Sheol has enlarged its appetite and opened its mouth beyond measure, and the nobility of Jerusalem and her multitude will go down, her revelers and he who exults in her. 15 Man is humbled, and each one is brought low, and the eyes of the haughty are brought low. 16 But the LORD of hosts is exalted in justice, and the Holy God shows himself holy in righteousness. 17 Then shall the lambs graze as in their pasture, and nomads shall eat among the ruins of the rich.
1내가 사랑하는 이에게 노래를 해 주겠네. 그가 가꾸는 포도원을 노래하겠네. 내가 사랑하는 사람은 기름진 언덕에서 포도원을 가꾸고 있네. 2 땅을 일구고 돌을 골라내고, 아주 좋은 포도나무를 심었네. 그 한가운데 망대를 세우고, 거기에 포도주 짜는 곳도 파 놓고, 좋은 포도가 맺기를 기다렸는데, 열린 것이라고는 들포도뿐이었다네. 3 예루살렘 주민아, 유다 사람들아, 이제 너희는 나와 나의 포도원 사이에서 한 번 판단하여 보아라. 4 내가 나의 포도원을 가꾸면서 빠뜨린 것이 무엇이냐? 내가 하지 않은 일이라도 있느냐? 나는 좋은 포도가 맺기를 기다렸는데 어찌하여 들포도가 열렸느냐? 5 “이제 내가 내 포도원에 무슨 일을 하려는지를 너희에게 말하겠다. 울타리를 걷어치워서, 그 밭을 못쓰게 만들고, 담을 허물어서 아무나 그 밭을 짓밟게 하겠다. 6 내가 그 밭을 황무지로 만들겠다. 가지치기도 못하게 하고 북주기도 못하게 하여, 찔레나무와 가시나무만 자라나게 하겠다. 내가 또한 구름에게 명하여, 그 위에 비를 내리지 못하게 하겠다.” 7 이스라엘은 만군의 주님의 포도원이고, 유다 백성은 주님께서 심으신 포도나무다. 주님께서는 그들이 선한 일 하기를 기대하셨는데, 보이는 것은 살육뿐이다. 주님께서는 그들이 옳은 일 하기를 기대하셨는데, 들리는 것은 그들에게 희생된 사람들의 울부짖음뿐이다. 8 너희가, 더 차지할 곳이 없을 때까지, 집에 집을 더하고, 밭에 밭을 늘려 나가, 땅 한가운데서 홀로 살려고 하였으니, 너희에게 재앙이 닥친다! 9 만군의 주님께서 나의 귀에다 말씀하셨다. “많은 집들이 반드시 황폐해지고, 아무리 크고 좋은 집들이라도 텅 빈 흉가가 되어서, 사람 하나 거기에 살지 않을 것이다. 10 또한 열흘 갈이 포도원이 포도주 한 바트밖에 내지 못하며, 한 호멜의 씨가 겨우 한 에바밖에 내지 못할 것이다.” 11 아침에 일찍 일어나 독한 술을 찾는 사람과, 밤이 늦도록 포도주에 얼이 빠져 있는 사람에게, 재앙이 닥친다! 12 그들이, 연회에는 수금과 거문고와 소구와 피리와 포도주를 갖추었어도, 주님께서 하시는 일에는 관심이 없고, 주님께서 손수 이루시는 일도 거들떠보지를 않는다. 13 “그러므로 나의 백성은 지식이 없어서 포로가 될 것이요, 귀족은 굶주리고 평민은 갈증으로 목이 탈 것이다.” 14 그러므로 스올이 입맛을 크게 다시면서, 그 입을 한없이 벌리니, 그들의 영화와 법석거림과 떠드는 소리와 즐거워하는 소리가, 다 그 곳으로 빠져 들어갈 것이다. 15 그래서 천한 사람도 굴욕을 당하고 귀한 사람도 비천해지며, 눈을 치켜뜨고 한껏 거만을 부리던 자들도 기가 꺾일 것이다. 16 그러나 만군의 주님께서는 공평하셔서 높임을 받으시고, 거룩하신 하나님은 의로우셔서 거룩하신 분으로 기림을 받으실 것이다. 17 그 때에 어린 양들이 그 폐허에서 마치 초장에서처럼 풀을 뜯을 것이며, 낯선 사람들이, 망한 부자들의 밭에서 그 산물을 먹을 것이다.
