20In that day the remnant of Israel and the survivors of the house of Jacob will no more lean on him who struck them, but will lean on the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, in truth. 21 A remnant will return, the remnant of Jacob, to the mighty God. 22 For though your people Israel be as the sand of the sea, only a remnant of them will return. Destruction is decreed, overflowing with righteousness. 23 For the Lord GOD of hosts will make a full end, as decreed, in the midst of all the earth. 24 Therefore thus says the Lord GOD of hosts: “O my people, who dwell in Zion, be not afraid of the Assyrians when they strike with the rod and lift up their staff against you as the Egyptians did. 25 For in a very little while my fury will come to an end, and my anger will be directed to their destruction. 26 And the LORD of hosts will wield against them a whip, as when he struck Midian at the rock of Oreb. And his staff will be over the sea, and he will lift it as he did in Egypt. 27 And in that day his burden will depart from your shoulder, and his yoke from your neck; and the yoke will be broken because of the fat.” 28 He has come to Aiath; he has passed through Migron; at Michmash he stores his baggage; 29 they have crossed over the pass; at Geba they lodge for the night; Ramah trembles; Gibeah of Saul has fled. 30 Cry aloud, O daughter of Gallim! Give attention, O Laishah! O poor Anathoth! 31 Madmenah is in flight; the inhabitants of Gebim flee for safety. 32 This very day he will halt at Nob; he will shake his fist at the mount of the daughter of Zion, the hill of Jerusalem. 33 Behold, the Lord GOD of hosts will lop the boughs with terrifying power; the great in height will be hewn down, and the lofty will be brought low. 34 He will cut down the thickets of the forest with an axe, and Lebanon will fall by the Majestic One.
20그 날이 오면, 이스라엘 가운데서 남은 사람들과 야곱 겨레 가운데서 살아남은 사람들이 다시는 그들을 친 자를 의뢰하지 않고, 오직 ‘이스라엘의 거룩하신 분’인 주님만을 진심으로 의지할 것이다. 21 남은 사람들이 돌아올 것이다. 야곱의 자손 가운데서 남은 사람들이 전능하신 하나님께 돌아올 것이다. 22 이스라엘아, 네 백성이 바다의 모래처럼 많다고 하여도, 그들 가운데서 오직 남은 사람들만이 돌아올 것이다. 너의 파멸이 공의로운 판결에 따라서 이미 결정되었다. 23 파멸이 이미 결정되었으니, 주님, 곧 만군의 주님께서 온 땅 안에서 심판을 강행하실 것이다. 24 그러므로 주 만군의 하나님께서 이렇게 말씀하신다. “시온에 사는 나의 백성아, 앗시리아가 몽둥이를 들어 너를 때리고, 이집트가 그랬듯이 철퇴를 들어 너에게 내리친다 하여도, 두려워하지 말아라. 25 너에게는 머지않아 내가 분노를 풀겠으나, 그들에게는 내가 분노를 풀지 않고, 그들을 멸망시키겠다.” 26 만군의 주님께서 오렙 바위에서 미디안 사람을 치신 것 같이 채찍을 들어 앗시리아를 치시며, 또한 이집트에서 바다를 치신 것 같이 몽둥이를 들어서 그들을 치실 것이다. 27 그 날이 오면, 주님께서, 앗시리아가 지워 준 무거운 짐을 너의 어깨에서 벗기시고, 앗시리아의 멍에를 너의 목에서 벗기실 것이다. 네가 살이 쪄서 멍에가 부러질 것이다. 28 앗시리아 왕이 리몬에서부터 올라가서 그가 아얏으로 들어갔다. 미그론을 지나서, 믹마스에다가 그의 군수품을 보관하였다. 29 험한 길을 지나서, 게바에서 하룻밤을 묵겠다고 하니, 라마 사람들은 떨고, 사울의 고향 기브아 사람들은 도망하였다. 30 딸 갈림아, 큰소리로 외쳐라. 라이사야, 귀를 기울여라. 가련한 아나돗아, 대답하여라. 31 맛메나 사람이 도망 친다. 게빔 주민이 그 뒤를 따른다. 32 바로 그 날, 벌써 적들이 놉 마을에 들어왔다. 딸 시온 산에서, 예루살렘 성 안에서 주먹을 휘두른다. 33 그러나 주님, 곧 만군의 주님께서 그들을 나뭇가지 치시듯 요란하게 치실 것이니, 큰 나무들이 찍히듯, 우뚝 솟은 나무들이 쓰러지듯, 그들이 그렇게 쓰러질 것이다. 34 빽빽한 삼림의 나무를 도끼로 찍듯이, 그들을 찍으실 것이다. 레바논이 전능하신 분 앞에서 쓰러질 것이다.
