WHO’S MY NEIGHBOR?		누가 나의 이웃인가?
[ Luke 10:30 - 10:37 ] - hymn 323 “Who is my neighbor?” [ LUKE 10:29 ] An elderly woman was unconscious on a hot sidewalk after a terrible fall. Several people stopped to help. One called 911. Another gently placed a coat under her head. Others put towels under her arms, and still another held an umbrella over her head until paramedics arrived. The person who posted the video wrote that it’s an especially heartwarming scene because those who stopped included people of different ages and ethnicities—all working together to help someone in distress. When an expert in God’s law asked Jesus who his neighbor was (LUKE 10:29)—that is, who he was obligated to show love to—Jesus told a story of a man badly beaten by robbers, lying near death by the side of the road (VV. 30-31). A priest and then a Levite approached, but both passed by on the other side. Finally, a Samaritan stopped to help. What made this so unusual was that Jews and Samaritans had a bitter history of scorn for each other. Yet it was the Samaritan who stopped and “took pity” on the man (V. 33). After telling this parable, Jesus asked which was a neighbor to the fallen man. The expert in the law replied, “The one who had mercy on him” (V. 37). Jesus told him, and us, “Go and do likewise.” May God help us see that everyone we meet is our neighbor, another human created by Him and deserving of our aid. ALYSON KIEDA		[ 누가복음 10:30 - 10:37 ] - 찬송가 323 장 그러면 내 이웃이 누구니이까 [누가복음 10:29] 한 할머니가 뜨거운 보도에서 심하게 넘어져 의식을 잃었습니다. 몇 사람이 와서 도왔습니다. 한 사람은 119에 전화를 하고, 또 한 사람은 할머니 머리 밑에 조심스레 겉옷을 받쳐주었습니다. 다른 이들도 와서 할머니 팔 밑에 수건을 깔아드리고, 또 한 사람은 구급대원이 도착할 때까지 머리 위를 양산으로 가려드렸습니다. 이 영상을 올린 사람은 이런 장면들이 특히 마음을 따뜻하게 한 이유는 멈춰서 도운 사람들이 나이와 인종은 달랐지만 모두가 힘을 합쳐 위급한 사람을 도왔기 때문이라고 했습니다. 하나님의 율법을 잘 아는 한 사람이 예수님께 누가 자기의 이웃인가 (누가복음 10:29), 곧 자기가 사랑을 베풀어야 할 사람이 누구인가를 물었을 때, 예수님은 강도를 만나 심하게 맞고 길가에 거의 죽게 되어 누워있는 한 사람의 이야기를 들려주셨습니다(30-31절). 제사장에 이어 레위인이 다가왔지만 둘 다 길 반대편으로 지나갔습니다. 마침내 한 사마리아인이 와서 도왔습니다. 이것이 매우 특별한 이유는 유대인과 사마리아인은 서로를 경멸하는 아픈 역사가 있었기 때문입니다. 그러나 멈추어 그 사람을 “불쌍히 여긴 사람”은 사마리아인이었습니다(33절). 예수님은 이 비유를 말씀하신 후 누가 쓰러진 사람의 이웃인가를 물으셨습니다. 그 율법 전문가가 “자비를 베푼 자니이다”라고 대답했습니다 (37절). 예수님은 그에게, 그리고 우리에게 “가서 너도 이와 같이 하라”고 말씀 하셨습니다. 하나님께서 우리를 도우셔서 우리가 만나는 사람 모두가 우리의 이웃이며 하나님이 창조하신 같은 사람들이고, 우리의 도움을 받을 자격이 있는 사람인 것을 알게 해주시기를 바랍니다.

30 In reply Jesus said: “A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, when he was attacked by robbers. They stripped him of his clothes, beat him and went away, leaving him half dead.

31 A priest happened to be going down the same road, and when he saw the man, he passed by on the other side.

32 So too, a Levite, when he came to the place and saw him, passed by on the other side.

33 But a Samaritan, as he traveled, came where the man was; and when he saw him, he took pity on him.

34 He went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. Then he put the man on his own donkey, brought him to an inn and took care of him.

35 The next day he took out two denarii and gave them to the innkeeper. ‘Look after him,’ he said, ‘and when I return, I will reimburse you for any extra expense you may have.’

36 “Which of these three do you think was a neighbor to the man who fell into the hands of robbers?”

37 The expert in the law replied, “The one who had mercy on him.” Jesus told him, “Go and do likewise.”

당신은 누구에게 좋은 이웃이 되기가 어렵습니까?
예수님은 다른 사람들을 사랑하는 이웃의 모습을 어떻게 보여주십니까?

사랑하는 하나님, 아무리 다른 점이 있더라도 사람들을 나의 이웃으로 사랑할 수 있게 하소서.

32 또 이와 같이 한 레위인도 그 곳에 이르러 그를 보고 피하여 지나가되

33 어떤 사마리아 사람은 여행하는 중 거기 이르러 그를 보고 불쌍히 여겨

34 가까이 가서 기름과 포도주를 그 상처에 붓고 싸매고 자기 짐승에 태워 주막으로 데리고 가서 돌보아 주니라

35 그 이튿날 그가 주막 주인에게 데나리온 둘을 내어 주며 이르되 이 사람을 돌보아 주라 비용이 더 들면 내가 돌아올 때에 갚으리라 하였으니

36 네 생각에는 이 세 사람 중에 누가 강도 만난 자의 이웃이 되겠느냐

37 이르되 자비를 베푼 자니이다 예수께서 이르시되 가서 너도 이와 같이 하라 하시니라
