RESURRECTION POWER		부활의 능력
[ Mark 16:1 - 16:8 ] - hymn 165 You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. [ MARK 16:6 ] At one hundred dollars, Loretta’s utility bill was much higher than usual. “But the Lord will provide,” she told her son. That same day she received a text from her youngest brother: “Loretta, you’re always encouraging me, and I want to thank you. Look in your mail for something from me.” That afternoon in her mail, she found a gift card from her brother for $100. A miracle? Not to some, perhaps. To Loretta, however, the “coincidence” felt miraculous. She always expects the living God to provide for her. Her outlook highlights a lesson in the resurrection story of Jesus. After the Sabbath, three women bought spices to anoint Jesus’ body in the tomb. But walking there after sunrise, the women expected not a miracle but a problem: “Who will roll the stone away from the entrance of the tomb?” (MARK 16:1-3). Embedded in their question was a curious doubt, especially from these women—including Mary Magdalene—who had trav-eled with Jesus and witnessed His power. All of them, however, were looking that morning for a dead Jesus. Instead, “He has risen! He is not here,” they were told (V. 6). That declaration explains what we can expect from the living Jesus: His miraculous resurrection power. He is alive. When we face “heavy stones” that need moving, He will be with us and help us. He’s not in a tomb. He is risen, indeed! PATRICIA RAYBON		[ 마가복음 16:1 - 16:8 ] - 찬송가 165 장 나사렛 예수를 찾는구나 그가 살아나셨고 여기 계시지 아니하니라 [마가복음 16:6] 평소보다 훨씬 많은 백 달러의 공과금 고지서를 받아 들고 로레타는 아들 에게 말했습니다. “그러나 주님께서 채워주실 거야”. 바로 그날 남동생 으로부터 다음과 같은 문자가 왔습니다. “누나, 내게 늘 힘이 되어줘서 고마워. 내가 뭘 좀 보냈으니 우편함에 가 봐.” 그날 오후 누나는 동생으로부터 백 달러짜리 기프트 카드를 받았습니다. 이것은 기적이었을까요? 어떤 사람들 에게는 별일 아닐 수도 있지만, 그녀에게 이 “우연”은 기적처럼 느껴졌습니다. 로레타는 살아계신 하나님께서 자기에게 공급해 주실 것을 늘 기대합니다. 로레타의 기대는 예수님의 부활 사건에 담긴 교훈을 시사해줍니다. 안식일 다음 날, 세 여인이 무덤에 있는 예수님의 시신에 바를 향료를 샀습니다. 그러나 동이 튼 후 무덤으로 걸어가며 그 여인들이 예상한 것은 기적이 아니라 문제거리 였습니다. “누가 우리를 위하여 무덤 문에서 돌을 굴려 주리요”(마가복음 16:1-3). 막달라 마리아를 비롯한 이 여인들이 가졌던 이 질문에는 어찌 되려나 하는 의심이 깔려 있었습니다. 예수님과 함께 다니며 그분의 능력을 목격했던 바로 그 사람들이 그날 아침 모두 죽은 예수님을 찾아 나섰던 것입니다. 그러나 그들은 “그가 살아나셨고 여기 계시지 아니하니라”(6절)는 말을 듣게 됩니다. 이 선포는 우리가 살아 계신 예수님에게서 기대할 것, 즉 기적적인 부활의 능력을 설명합니다. 그분은 살아 계십니다. 살면서 치워야 할 “거대한 돌”을 맞닥뜨릴 때, 예수님은 우리와 함께 해주시고 도움을 주실 것입니다. 예수님은 무덤에 계시지 않습니다. 정말로 부활하셨습니다!

You’re alive, Jesus, and You possess the resurrection power we need!

1 When the Sabbath was over, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome bought spices so that they might go to anoint Jesus' body.
2 Very early on the first day of the week, just after sunrise, they were on their way to the tomb
3 and they asked each other, 'Who will roll the stone away from the entrance of the tomb?'
4 But when they looked up, they saw that the stone, which was very large, had been rolled away.
5 As they entered the tomb, they saw a young man dressed in a white robe sitting on the right side, and they were alarmed.
6 "Don't be alarmed," he said. "You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid him.
7 But go, tell his disciples and Peter, 'He is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him, just as he told you.' "
8 Trembling and bewildered, the women went out and fled from the tomb. They said nothing to anyone, because they were afraid.

1 안식일이 지나매 막달라 마리아와 야고보의 어머니 마리아와 또 살로메가 가서 예수께 바르기 위하여 향품을 사다 두었다가
2 안식 후 첫날 매우 일찍이 해 돋을 때에 그 무덤으로 가며
3 서로 말하되 누가 우리를 위하여 무덤 문에서 돌을 굴려 주리요 하더니
4 눈을 들어본즉 벌써 돌이 굴려져 있는데 그 돌이 심히 크더라
5 무덤에 들어가서 흰 옷을 입은 한 청년이 우편에 앉은 것을 보고 놀라매
6 청년이 이르되 놀라지 말라 너희가 십자가에 못 박히신 나사렛 예수를 찾는구나 그가 살아나셨고 여기 계시지 아니하니라 보라 그를 두었던 곳이니라
7 가서 그의 제자들과 베드로에게 이르기를 예수께서 너희보다 먼저 갈릴리로 가시나니 전에 너희에게 말씀하신 대로 너희가 거기서 뵈오리라 하라 하는지라
8 여자들이 몹시 놀라 떨며 나와 무덤에서 도망하고 무서워하여 아무에게 아무 말도 하지 못하더라
