PRAY FOR THEM		그들을 위해 기도하라
[ Matthew 18:10 - 18:14 ] - hymn 279 Will he not leave the ninety-nine on the hills and go to look for the one that wandered off? [ MATTHEW 18:12 ] The movie Sully depicts the heroic landing of a stalled passenger plane on New York’s Hudson River. As Captain “Sully” strode off the rescue ferry, he told an official, “I need to know who’shurt and how badly and I need a count. One hundred fifty-five. That’s my number. That’s passengers and crew.” The man said, “Okay. How about you?” Sully replied, “I’ll answer that question when we’ve counted to one hundred fifty-five.” Jesus is interested in a count too. He’s the Good Shepherd who leaves the ninety-nine to search for the one lost sheep. When He finds it, He “is happier about that one sheep than about the ninety-nine that did not wander off” (MATTHEW 18:13). This doesn’t mean the one lost sheep counts more than the others. But there is the joy of relief when it’s found. As Sully’s passengers rejoiced to escape almost certain death, so heaven celebrates when someone receives salvation. Do you know any lost sheep? Anyone who seems particularly unreachable? Pray for them. Seek to share the love of Jesus with them. Don’t give up until they’re in the fold. Sully badgered anyone who would listen, “I need a count. We’ve got to have a count.” At long last, an official entered the hospital room where Sully was being examined. He smiled, “Got a count. One hundred fifty-five.” MIKE WITTMER		[ 마태복음 18:10 - 18:14 ] - 찬송가 279 장 그 중의 하나가 길을 잃었으면 그 아흔아홉 마리를 산에 두고 가서 길 잃은 양을 찾지 않겠느냐 [마태복음 18:12] 영화 ‘설리’는 엔진이 멈춘 여객기를 뉴욕 허드슨강 위에 영웅적으로 비상착륙 시킨 사건을 다루고 있습니다. 구조선에서 내리던 설리 기장은 관계자에게 걸어가 이렇게 말했습니다. “누가 다쳤는지, 얼마나 다쳤는지 알아야 합니다. 그리고 인원 파악이 필요합니다. 155명, 그게 제가 확인하고 싶은 숫자입니다. 승객과 승무원을 합친 숫자요.” 담당자는 말합니다. “알겠습니다. 기장님은 괜찮으십니까?” 설리가 대답합니다. “155명 모두 확인되면 그때 대답하겠습니다.” 예수님도 숫자에 관심이 있으십니다. 그분은 잃어버린 양 한 마리를 찾기 위해 아흔아홉 마리를 놔두고 떠나는 선한 목자이십니다. 그리고 그 잃어버린 양을 찾으시면 “길을 잃지 아니한 아흔아홉 마리보다 이것을 더 기뻐하리라” 고 하셨습니다(마태복음 18:13). 이 말씀은 잃어버린 한 마리가 다른 양들보다 더 중요하다는 의미가 아닙니다. 다만 잃어버린 존재를 되찾았을 때 느끼는 안도의 기쁨이 크다는 의미입니다. 설리 기장의 승객들이 거의 확실시 되던 죽음에서 벗어나 기뻐했던 것처럼, 누군가 구원을 받을 때 하늘에서도 기쁨의 잔치가 벌어집니다. 당신 주위에 잃어버린 양이 있습니까? 유독 다가가기 어렵게 느껴지는 사람이 있습니까? 그들을 위해 기도하십시오. 그들과 예수님의 사랑을 나누려고 하십시오. 그들이 안전한 우리 안으로 되돌아 올 때까지 포기하지 마십시오. 설리 선장은 만나는 사람마다 붙들고 재촉했습니다. “인원파악이 필요 합니다. 반드시 인원을 확인해야 합니다.” 마침내 한 관계자가 설리가 검사를 받고 있던 병실로 들어와 미소를 지으며 말했습니다. “인원수 확인했습니다. 155명 전원 무사합니다.”

12 “What do you think? If a man owns a hundred sheep, and one of them wanders away, will he not leave the ninety-nine on the hills and go to look for the one that wandered off?

13 And if he finds it, truly I tell you, he is happier about that one sheep than about the ninety-nine that did not wander off.

14 In the same way your Father in heaven is not willing that any of these little ones should perish.

주위에 정기적으로 기도해 주고 싶은, 예수님이 필요한 세 사람을 꼽아보겠습니까?
그들에게 예수님의 사랑을 어떻게 전하시겠습니까?

사랑하는 예수님, 주님이 주님의 양들을 바라보듯 저도 그리 바라보도록 도와주소서.

10 삼가 이 작은 자 중의 하나도 업신여기지 말라 너희에게 말하노니 그들의 천사들이 하늘에서 하늘에 계신 내 아버지의 얼굴을 항상 뵈옵느니라

13 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 만일 찾으면 길을 잃지 아니한 아흔아홉 마리보다 이것을 더 기뻐하리라

14 이와 같이 이 작은 자 중의 하나라도 잃는 것은 하늘에 계신 너희 아버지의 뜻이 아니니라
