16In that day the Egyptians will be like women, and tremble with fear before the hand that the LORD of hosts shakes over them. 17 And the land of Judah will become a terror to the Egyptians. Everyone to whom it is mentioned will fear because of the purpose that the LORD of hosts has purposed against them. 18 In that day there will be five cities in the land of Egypt that speak the language of Canaan and swear allegiance to the LORD of hosts. One of these will be called the City of Destruction. 19 In that day there will be an altar to the LORD in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a pillar to the LORD at its border. 20 It will be a sign and a witness to the LORD of hosts in the land of Egypt. When they cry to the LORD because of oppressors, he will send them a savior and defender, and deliver them. 21 And the LORD will make himself known to the Egyptians, and the Egyptians will know the LORD in that day and worship with sacrifice and offering, and they will make vows to the LORD and perform them. 22 And the LORD will strike Egypt, striking and healing, and they will return to the LORD, and he will listen to their pleas for mercy and heal them. 23 In that day there will be a highway from Egypt to Assyria, and Assyria will come into Egypt, and Egypt into Assyria, and the Egyptians will worship with the Assyrians. 24 In that day Israel will be the third with Egypt and Assyria, a blessing in the midst of the earth, 25 whom the LORD of hosts has blessed, saying, “Blessed be Egypt my people, and Assyria the work of my hands, and Israel my inheritance.” 20 :1In the year that the commander in chief, who was sent by Sargon the king of Assyria, came to Ashdod and fought against it and captured it—2at that time the LORD spoke by Isaiah the son of Amoz, saying, “Go, and loose the sackcloth from your waist and take off your sandals from your feet,” and he did so, walking naked and barefoot. 3 Then the LORD said, “As my servant Isaiah has walked naked and barefoot for three years as a sign and a portent against Egypt and Cush, 4 so shall the king of Assyria lead away the Egyptian captives and the Cushite exiles, both the young and the old, naked and barefoot, with buttocks uncovered, the nakedness of Egypt. 5 Then they shall be dismayed and ashamed because of Cush their hope and of Egypt their boast. 6 And the inhabitants of this coastland will say in that day, ‘Behold, this is what has happened to those in whom we hoped and to whom we fled for help to be delivered from the king of Assyria! And we, how shall we escape?’”
16그 날이 오면, 이집트 사람이 마치 겁 많은 여인처럼 되어, 만군의 주님께서 그들 위에 팔을 펴서 휘두르시며 심판하시는 것을 보고서, 두려워하며 떨 것이다. 17 이집트 사람은 유다 땅을 무서워할 것이다. 만군의 주님께서 그들을 치려고 세우신 계획을 상기할 때마다 ‘유다’라는 이름만 들어도 모두 무서워할 것이다. 18 그 날이 오면, 이집트 땅의 다섯 성읍에서는 사람들이 가나안 말을 하며, 만군의 주님만을 섬기기로 충성을 맹세할 것이다. 그 다섯 성읍 가운데서 한 성읍은 ‘멸망의 성읍’이라고 불릴 것이다. 19 그 날이 오면, 이집트 땅 한가운데 주님을 섬기는 제단 하나가 세워지겠고, 이집트 국경지대에는 주님께 바치는 돌기둥 하나가 세워질 것이다. 20 이 제단과 이 돌기둥이, 만군의 주님께서 이집트 땅에 계시다는 징표와 증거가 될 것이다. 그래서 그 곳 백성이 압박을 받을 때에, 주님께 부르짖어서 살려 주실 것을 간구하면, 주님께서 한 구원자를 보내시고, 억압하는 자들과 싸우게 하셔서, 백성을 구원하실 것이다. 21 주님께서는 이렇게 자신을 이집트 사람에게 알리실 것이며, 그 날로 이집트 사람은 주님을 올바로 알고, 희생제물과 번제를 드려서, 주님께 예배하고, 또 주님께 서원하고 그대로 실천할 것이다. 22 주님께서 이집트를 치시겠으나, 치시고 나서는 곧바로 어루만져 낫게 하실 것이므로, 그들이 주님께로 돌아오고, 주님께서는 그들의 간구를 들으시고, 그들을 고쳐 주실 것이다. 23 그 날이 오면, 이집트에서 앗시리아로 통하는 큰길이 생겨, 앗시리아 사람은 이집트로 가고 이집트 사람은 앗시리아로 갈 것이며, 이집트 사람이 앗시리아 사람과 함께 주님을 경배할 것이다. 24 그 날이 오면, 이스라엘과 이집트와 앗시리아, 이 세 나라가 이 세상 모든 나라에 복을 주게 될 것이다. 25 만군의 주님께서 이 세 나라에 복을 주며 이르시기를 “나의 백성 이집트야, 나의 손으로 지은 앗시리아야, 나의 소유 이스라엘아, 복을 받아라” 하실 것이다. 1 앗시리아 왕 사르곤이 보낸 다르단 장군이 아스돗으로 와서, 아스돗을 점령하였다. 2 그 해에 주님께서 아모스의 아들 이사야를 시켜서 말씀하셨다. 주님께서 이사야에게 말씀하시기를, 허리에 두른 베옷을 벗고, 발에서 신을 벗으라고 하셨다. 그래서 이사야는, 말씀대로, 옷을 벗고 맨발로 다녔다. 3 그 때에 주님께서 말씀하셨다. “나의 종 이사야가 삼 년 동안 벗은 몸과 맨발로 다니면서, 이집트와 에티오피아에게 표징과 징조가 된 것처럼, 4 앗시리아 왕이, 이집트에서 잡은 포로와 에티오피아에서 잡은 포로를, 젊은이나 늙은이 할 것 없이 모두 벗은 몸과 맨발로 끌고 갈 것이니, 이집트 사람이 수치스럽게도 그들의 엉덩이까지 드러낸 채로 끌려갈 것이다.” 5 그리하여 에티오피아를 의지하던 자들과, 이집트를 그들의 자랑으로 여기던 자들이, 두려워하고 부끄러워할 것이다. 6 그 날이 오면, 이 해변에 사는 백성이 이렇게 말할 것이다. “우리가 의지하던 나라, 앗시리아 왕에게서 구해 달라고, 우리를 살려 달라고, 도움을 청한 나라가 이렇게 되었으니, 이제 우리가 어디로 피해야 한단 말이냐?”
