LOST BUT NOW FOUND		잃었다가 다시 찾은 것
[ Luke 15:8 - 15:10 ] - hymn 273 Rejoice with me; I have found my lost coin. [ LUKE 15:9 ] When I visited Ecuador’s Amazon region with my father many years ago, we took a fun speedboat ride to a small village to take in the sights and learn about the local tribes. My dear dad bought me handmade jewelry, including a set of earrings. I only wore those earrings on special occasions, including when I went to visit my sister for my birthday. When I came back from my trip, I was horrified to discover I’d lost one of my earrings. I looked everywhere. It was just an earring, but I’d have to travel all the way back to the Amazon jungle to replace it. Amazingly, when my sister returned to the restaurant we had visited for my birthday, she spotted my missing earring in their lost and found. I was over-joyed! Jesus told a parable about a woman who’d lost her silver coin. She wouldn’t rest while her valuable coin was missing. “Doesn’t she light a lamp, sweep the house and search carefully until she finds it?” Jesus asked (LUKE 15:8). And when she found her coin, she greatly rejoiced (V. 9). Jesus told this story to demonstrate how precious we are to God. He “came to seek and to save” those who are lost (19:10). Although we were once lost, heaven rejoiced when we were found. NANCY GAVILANES		[ 누가복음 15:8 - 15:10 ] - 찬송가 273 장 나와 함께 즐기자 잃은 드라크마를 찾아내었노라 [누가복음 15:9] 몇년 전 아버지와 함께 에콰도르의 아마존 지대를 방문했을 때, 우리는 신나게 쾌속정을 타고 작은 마을로 가서 경치도 구경하고 현지 부족에 대해서도 배웠습니다. 아버지는 내게 귀걸이 등 몇가지 수제 장신구들을 사주었습니다. 나는 그 귀걸이를 내 생일날 언니를 만나러 갈 때와 같은 특별한 날에만 착용했습니다. 그런데 외출에서 돌아와 귀걸이 한쪽이 없어진 것을 알고 가슴이 철렁했습니다. 사방을 찾아보았습니다. 그저 귀걸이 하나였지만 다시 구하려면 머나먼 아마존 정글까지 돌아가야 했을 것입니다. 다행히도 내 생일에 갔던 그 식당에 언니가 다시 가서 보니 분실물 보관장소에 그 귀걸이가 있었습니다. 나는 뛸 듯이 기뻤습니다! 예수님은 은화를 잃어버린 한 여인에 관한 비유를 들려주셨습니다. 소중한 은화를 잃어버린 그 여인은 쉴 수가 없었습니다. 예수님이 물으셨습니다. “여자가 등불을 켜고 집을 쓸며 찾아내기까지 부지런히 찾지 아니하겠느냐?”(누가복음 15:8). 그렇게 해서 동전을 찾은 여인은 매우 기뻐했습니다(9절). 예수님은 우리가 하나님께 얼마나 소중한 존재인지 보여주시기 위해 그 이야기를 하셨습니다. 예수님은 잃어버린 자를 “찾아 구원하려”오셨습니다 (19:10). 한때 길을 잃었던 우리가 발견되었을 때 하늘은 기뻐했습니다.

8 “Or suppose a woman has ten silver coins and loses one. Doesn't she light a lamp, sweep the house and search carefully until she finds it?

9 And when she finds it, she calls her friends and neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost coin.’

10 In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”

8 ○어떤 여자가 열 드라크마가 있는데 하나를 잃으면 등불을 켜고 집을 쓸며 찾아내기까지 부지런히 찾지 아니하겠느냐

9 또 찾아낸즉 벗과 이웃을 불러 모으고 말하되 나와 함께 즐기자 잃은 드라크마를 찾아내었노라 하리라

10 내가 너희에게 이르노니 이와 같이 죄인 한 사람이 회개하면 하나님의 사자들 앞에 기쁨이 되느니라
