18I am not speaking of all of you; I know whom I have chosen. But the Scripture will be fulfilled, ‘He who ate my bread has lifted his heel against me.’ 19 I am telling you this now, before it takes place, that when it does take place you may believe that I am he. 20 Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever receives the one I send receives me, and whoever receives me receives the one who sent me.” 21 After saying these things, Jesus was troubled in his spirit, and testified, “Truly, truly, I say to you, one of you will betray me.” 22 The disciples looked at one another, uncertain of whom he spoke. 23 One of his disciples, whom Jesus loved, was reclining at table at Jesus’ side, 24 so Simon Peter motioned to him to ask Jesus of whom he was speaking. 25 So that disciple, leaning back against Jesus, said to him, “Lord, who is it?” 26 Jesus answered, “It is he to whom I will give this morsel of bread when I have dipped it.” So when he had dipped the morsel, he gave it to Judas, the son of Simon Iscariot. 27 Then after he had taken the morsel, Satan entered into him. Jesus said to him, “What you are going to do, do quickly.” 28 Now no one at the table knew why he said this to him. 29 Some thought that, because Judas had the moneybag, Jesus was telling him, “Buy what we need for the feast,” or that he should give something to the poor. 30 So, after receiving the morsel of bread, he immediately went out. And it was night.
18나는 너희 모두를 가리켜서 말하는 것이 아니다. 나는 내가 택한 사람들을 안다. 그러나 ‘내 빵을 먹는 자가 나를 배반하였다’ 한 성경 말씀이 이루어질 것이다. 19 내가 그 일이 일어나기 전에 너희에게 미리 말하는 것은, 그 일이 일어날 때에, 너희로 하여금 ‘내가 곧 나’임을 믿게 하려는 것이다. 20 내가 진정으로 진정으로 너희에게 말한다. 내가 보내는 사람을 영접하는 사람은 나를 영접하는 사람이요, 나를 영접하는 사람은 나를 보내신 분을 영접하는 사람이다.” 21 예수께서 이 말씀을 하시고 나서, 마음이 괴로우셔서, 환히 드러내어 말씀하셨다. “내가 진정으로 진정으로 너희에게 말한다. 너희 가운데 한 사람이 나를 팔아 넘길 것이다.” 22 제자들은 예수께서, 누구를 두고 하시는 말씀인지 몰라서, 서로 바라다보았다. 23 제자들 가운데 한 사람, 곧 예수께서 사랑하시는 제자가 바로 예수의 품에 기대어 앉아 있었다. 24 시몬 베드로가 그에게 고갯짓을 하여, 누구를 두고 하시는 말씀인지 여쭈어 보라고 하였다. 25 그 제자가 예수의 가슴에 바싹 기대어 “주님, 그가 누구입니까?” 하고 물었다. 26 예수께서 대답하셨다. “내가 이 빵조각을 적셔서 주는 사람이 바로 그 사람이다.” 그리고 그 빵조각을 적셔서 시몬 가룟의 아들 유다에게 주셨다. 27 그가 빵조각을 받자, 사탄이 그에게 들어갔다. 그 때에 예수께서 유다에게 말씀하셨다. “네가 할 일을 어서 하여라.” 28 그러나 거기 앉아 있는 사람들 가운데서 아무도, 예수께서 그에게 무슨 뜻으로 그런 말씀을 하셨는지를 알지 못하였다. 29 어떤 이들은, 유다가 돈자루를 맡고 있으므로, 예수께서 그에게 명절에 그 일행이 쓸 물건을 사라고 하셨거나, 또는 가난한 사람들에게 무엇을 주라고 말씀하신 것으로 생각하였다. 30 유다는 그 빵조각을 받고 나서, 곧 나갔다. 때는 밤이었다.
