10These are the generations of Shem. When Shem was100 years old, he fathered Arpachshad two years after the flood. 11 And Shem lived after he fathered Arpachshad500 years and had other sons and daughters. 12 When Arpachshad had lived35 years, he fathered Shelah. 13 And Arpachshad lived after he fathered Shelah403 years and had other sons and daughters. 14 When Shelah had lived30 years, he fathered Eber. 15 And Shelah lived after he fathered Eber403 years and had other sons and daughters. 16 When Eber had lived34 years, he fathered Peleg. 17 And Eber lived after he fathered Peleg430 years and had other sons and daughters. 18 When Peleg had lived30 years, he fathered Reu. 19 And Peleg lived after he fathered Reu209 years and had other sons and daughters. 20 When Reu had lived32 years, he fathered Serug. 21 And Reu lived after he fathered Serug207 years and had other sons and daughters. 22 When Serug had lived30 years, he fathered Nahor. 23 And Serug lived after he fathered Nahor200 years and had other sons and daughters. 24 When Nahor had lived29 years, he fathered Terah. 25 And Nahor lived after he fathered Terah119 years and had other sons and daughters. 26 When Terah had lived70 years, he fathered Abram, Nahor, and Haran. 27 Now these are the generations of Terah. Terah fathered Abram, Nahor, and Haran; and Haran fathered Lot. 28 Haran died in the presence of his father Terah in the land of his kindred, in Ur of the Chaldeans. 29 And Abram and Nahor took wives. The name of Abram's wife was Sarai, and the name of Nahor's wife, Milcah, the daughter of Haran the father of Milcah and Iscah. 30 Now Sarai was barren; she had no child.
10셈의 족보는 이러하다. 셈은, 홍수가 끝난 지 이 년 뒤, 백 살이 되었을 때에 아르박삿을 낳았다. 11 셈은 아르박삿을 낳은 뒤에, 오백 년을 더 살면서 아들딸을 낳았다. 12 아르박삿은 서른다섯 살에 셀라를 낳았다. 13 아르박삿은 셀라를 낳은 뒤에, 사백삼 년을 더 살면서 아들딸을 낳았다. 14 셀라는 서른 살에 에벨을 낳았다. 15 셀라는 에벨을 낳은 뒤에, 사백삼 년을 더 살면서 아들딸을 낳았다. 16 에벨은 서른네 살에 벨렉을 낳았다. 17 에벨은 벨렉을 낳은 뒤에, 사백삼십 년을 더 살면서 아들딸을 낳았다. 18 벨렉은 서른 살에 르우를 낳았다. 19 벨렉은 르우를 낳은 뒤에, 이백구 년을 더 살면서 아들딸을 낳았다. 20 르우는 서른두 살에 스룩을 낳았다. 21 르우는 스룩을 낳은 뒤에, 이백칠 년을 더 살면서 아들딸을 낳았다. 22 스룩은 서른 살에 나홀을 낳았다. 23 스룩은 나홀을 낳은 뒤에, 이백 년을 더 살면서 아들딸을 낳았다. 24 나홀은 스물아홉 살에 데라를 낳았다. 25 나홀은 데라를 낳은 뒤에, 백십구 년을 더 살면서 아들딸을 낳았다. 26 데라는 일흔 살에 아브람과 나홀과 하란을 낳았다. 27 데라의 족보는 이러하다. 데라는 아브람과 나홀과 하란을 낳았다. 하란은 롯을 낳았다. 28 그러나 하란은 그가 태어난 땅 바빌로니아의 우르에서 아버지보다 먼저 죽었다. 29 아브람과 나홀이 아내를 맞아들였다. 아브람의 아내의 이름은 사래이고, 나홀의 아내의 이름은 밀가이다. 하란은 밀가와 이스가의 아버지이다. 30 사래는 임신을 하지 못하여서, 자식이 없었다.
