1But I, brothers, could not address you as spiritual people, but as people of the flesh, as infants in Christ. 2 I fed you with milk, not solid food, for you were not ready for it. And even now you are not yet ready, 3 for you are still of the flesh. For while there is jealousy and strife among you, are you not of the flesh and behaving only in a human way? 4 For when one says, “I follow Paul,” and another, “I follow Apollos,” are you not being merely human? 5 What then is Apollos? What is Paul? Servants through whom you believed, as the Lord assigned to each. 6 I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth. 7 So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth. 8 He who plants and he who waters are one, and each will receive his wages according to his labor. 9 For we are God's fellow workers. You are God's field, God's building. 10 According to the grace of God given to me, like a skilled master builder I laid a foundation, and someone else is building upon it. Let each one take care how he builds upon it. 11 For no one can lay a foundation other than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12 Now if anyone builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw—13each one's work will become manifest, for the Day will disclose it, because it will be revealed by fire, and the fire will test what sort of work each one has done. 14 If the work that anyone has built on the foundation survives, he will receive a reward. 15 If anyone's work is burned up, he will suffer loss, though he himself will be saved, but only as through fire.
1형제자매 여러분, 나는 여러분에게 영에 속한 사람에게 하듯이 말할 수 없고, 육에 속한 사람, 곧 그리스도 안에서 어린 아이 같은 사람에게 말하듯이 하였습니다. 2 나는 여러분에게 젖을 먹였을 뿐, 단단한 음식을 먹이지 않았습니다. 그 때에는 여러분이 단단한 음식을 감당할 수 없었습니다. 사실 지금도 여러분은 그것을 감당할 수 없습니다. 3 여러분은 아직도 육에 속한 사람들입니다. 여러분 가운데에서 시기와 싸움이 있으니, 여러분은 육에 속한 사람이고, 인간의 방식대로 살고 있는 것이 아닙니까? 4 어떤 사람은 “나는 바울 편이다” 하고, 또 다른 사람은 “나는 아볼로 편이다” 한다니, 여러분은 육에 속한 사람이 아니고 무엇이겠습니까? 5 그렇다면 아볼로는 무엇이고, 바울은 무엇입니까? 아볼로와 나는 여러분을 믿게 한 일꾼들이며, 주님께서 우리에게 각각 맡겨 주신 대로 일하였을 뿐입니다. 6 나는 심고, 아볼로는 물을 주었습니다. 그러나 하나님께서 자라게 하셨습니다. 7 그러므로 심는 사람이나 물 주는 사람은 아무것도 아니요, 자라게 하시는 분은 하나님이십니다. 8 심는 사람과 물 주는 사람은 하나이며, 그들은 각각 수고한 만큼 자기의 삯을 받을 것입니다. 9 우리는 하나님의 동역자요, 여러분은 하나님의 밭이며, 하나님의 건물입니다. 10 나는 하나님께서 나에게 주신 은혜를 따라, 지혜로운 건축가와 같이 기초를 놓았습니다. 그런데 다른 사람이 그 위에다가 집을 짓습니다. 그러나 어떻게 집을 지을지 각각 신중히 생각해야 합니다. 11 아무도 이미 놓은 기초이신 예수 그리스도 밖에 또 다른 기초를 놓을 수 없습니다. 12 누가 이 기초 위에 금이나 은이나 보석이나 나무나 풀이나 짚으로 집을 지으면, 13 그에 따라 각 사람의 업적이 드러날 것입니다. 그 날이 그것을 환히 보여 줄 것입니다. 그것은 불에 드러날 것이기 때문입니다. 불이 각 사람의 업적이 어떤 것인가를 검증하여 줄 것입니다. 14 어떤 사람이 만든 작품이 그대로 남으면, 그는 상을 받을 것이요, 15 어떤 사람의 작품이 타 버리면, 그는 손해를 볼 것입니다. 그러나 그 사람은 구원을 받을 것이지만 불 속을 헤치고 나오듯 할 것입니다.
