1Then the LORD said to Noah, “Go into the ark, you and all your household, for I have seen that you are righteous before me in this generation. 2 Take with you seven pairs of all clean animals, the male and his mate, and a pair of the animals that are not clean, the male and his mate, 3 and seven pairs of the birds of the heavens also, male and female, to keep their offspring alive on the face of all the earth. 4 For in seven days I will send rain on the earth forty days and forty nights, and every living thing that I have made I will blot out from the face of the ground.” 5 And Noah did all that the LORD had commanded him. 6 Noah was six hundred years old when the flood of waters came upon the earth. 7 And Noah and his sons and his wife and his sons' wives with him went into the ark to escape the waters of the flood. 8 Of clean animals, and of animals that are not clean, and of birds, and of everything that creeps on the ground, 9 two and two, male and female, went into the ark with Noah, as God had commanded Noah. 10 And after seven days the waters of the flood came upon the earth. 11 In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, on the seventeenth day of the month, on that day all the fountains of the great deep burst forth, and the windows of the heavens were opened. 12 And rain fell upon the earth forty days and forty nights. 13 On the very same day Noah and his sons, Shem and Ham and Japheth, and Noah's wife and the three wives of his sons with them entered the ark, 14 they and every beast, according to its kind, and all the livestock according to their kinds, and every creeping thing that creeps on the earth, according to its kind, and every bird, according to its kind, every winged creature. 15 They went into the ark with Noah, two and two of all flesh in which there was the breath of life. 16 And those that entered, male and female of all flesh, went in as God had commanded him. And the LORD shut him in. 17 The flood continued forty days on the earth. The waters increased and bore up the ark, and it rose high above the earth. 18 The waters prevailed and increased greatly on the earth, and the ark floated on the face of the waters. 19 And the waters prevailed so mightily on the earth that all the high mountains under the whole heaven were covered. 20 The waters prevailed above the mountains, covering them fifteen cubits deep. 21 And all flesh died that moved on the earth, birds, livestock, beasts, all swarming creatures that swarm on the earth, and all mankind. 22 Everything on the dry land in whose nostrils was the breath of life died. 23 He blotted out every living thing that was on the face of the ground, man and animals and creeping things and birds of the heavens. They were blotted out from the earth. Only Noah was left, and those who were with him in the ark. 24 And the waters prevailed on the earth150 days.
1주님께서 노아에게 말씀하셨다. “내가 보니, 이 세상에 의로운 사람이라고는 너밖에 없구나. 너는 식구들을 다 데리고, 방주로 들어가거라. 2 모든 정결한 짐승은 수컷과 암컷으로 일곱 쌍씩, 그리고 부정한 짐승은 수컷과 암컷으로 두 쌍씩, 네가 데리고 가거라. 3 그러나 공중의 새는 수컷과 암컷 일곱 쌍씩 데리고 가서, 그 씨가 온 땅 위에 살아남게 하여라. 4 이제 이레가 지나면, 내가 사십 일 동안 밤낮으로 땅에 비를 내려서, 내가 만든 생물을 땅 위에서 모두 없애 버릴 것이다.” 5 노아는 주님께서 명하신 대로 다 하였다. 6 땅 위에서 홍수가 난 것은, 노아가 육백 살 되던 해이다. 7 노아는 홍수를 피하려고, 아들들과 아내와 며느리들을 데리고, 함께 방주로 들어갔다. 8 정결한 짐승과 부정한 짐승과, 새와 땅 위를 기어 다니는 모든 것도, 9 하나님이 노아에게 명하신 대로, 수컷과 암컷 둘씩 노아에게로 와서, 방주로 들어갔다. 10 이레가 지나서, 홍수가 땅을 뒤덮었다. 11 노아가 육백 살 되는 해의 둘째 달, 그 달 열이렛날, 바로 그 날에 땅 속 깊은 곳에서 큰 샘들이 모두 터지고, 하늘에서는 홍수 문들이 열려서, 12 사십 일 동안 밤낮으로 비가 땅 위로 쏟아졌다. 13 바로 그 날, 노아와, 노아의 세 아들 셈과 함과 야벳과, 노아의 아내와, 세 며느리가, 함께 방주로 들어갔다. 14 그들과 함께, 모든 들짐승이 그 종류대로, 모든 집짐승이 그 종류대로, 땅 위를 기어 다니는 모든 길짐승이 그 종류대로, 날개 달린 모든 날짐승이 그 종류대로, 방주로 들어갔다. 15 살과 피를 지닌 살아 숨 쉬는 모든 것들이 둘씩 노아에게 와서, 방주로 들어갔다. 16 하나님이 노아에게 명하신 대로, 살과 피를 지닌 살아 숨 쉬는 모든 것들의 수컷과 암컷이 짝을 지어 방주 안으로 들어갔다. 마지막으로 노아가 들어가니, 주님께서 몸소 문을 닫으셨다. 17 땅 위에서는 홍수가 사십 일 동안 계속되었다. 물이 불어나서, 방주가 땅에서 높이 떠올랐다. 18 물이 불어나서 땅에 크게 넘치니, 방주가 물 위로 떠다녔다. 19 땅에 물이 크게 불어나서, 온 하늘 아래에 있는 모든 높은 산들이 물에 잠겼다. 20 물은 그 높은 산들을 잠그고도, 열다섯 자나 더 불어났다. 21 새와 집짐승과 들짐승과 땅에서 기어 다니는 모든 것과 사람까지, 살과 피를 지니고 땅 위에서 움직이는 모든 것들이 다 죽었다. 22 마른 땅 위에서 코로 숨을 쉬며 사는 것들이 모두 죽었다. 23 이렇게 주님께서는 땅 위에 사는 모든 생물을 없애 버리셨다. 사람을 비롯하여 짐승까지, 길짐승과 공중의 새에 이르기까지, 땅 위에서 모두 없애 버리셨다. 다만 노아와 방주에 들어간 사람들과 짐승들만이 살아남았다. 24 물이 불어나서, 백오십 일 동안이나 땅을 뒤덮었다.
