[ Psalms 147:1 - 147:11 ] - hymn 361 The Lord delights in those who fear him, who put their hope in his unfailing love. Psalm 147:11 On the two-hour drive home from a family member¡¯s wedding, my mom asked me for the third time what was new in my job. I once again repeated some of the details as if telling her for the first time, while wondering what might possibly make my words more memorable. My mom has Alzheimer¡¯s, a disease that progressively destroys the memory, can adversely affect behavior, and eventually leads to the loss of speech—and more. I grieve because of my mom¡¯s disease but am thankful she is still here and we can spend time together—and even converse. It thrills me that whenever I go to see her she lights up with joy and exclaims, ¡°Alyson, what a pleasant surprise!¡± We enjoy each other¡¯s company; and even in the silences when words escape her, we commune together. This perhaps is a small picture of our relationship with God. Scripture tells us, ¡°The Lord delights in those who fear him, who put their hope in his unfailing love¡±(Ps. 147:11). God calls those who believe in Jesus as their Savior His children(John 1:12). And although we may make the same requests over and over again or lack for words, He is patient with us because He has a loving relationship with us. He is happy when we converse with Him in prayer—even when the words escape us. Alyson Kieda		[ 시편 147:1 - 147:11 ] - 찬송가 361 장 여호와는 자기를 경외하는 자들과 그의 인자하심을 바라는 자들을 기뻐하시는도다 시편 147:11 가족의 결혼식 행사를 마치고 차로 두 시간 걸려 집으로 돌아오는 길에 어머니가 내 직장에 별 일이 없는지 세 번째로 물었습니다. 나는 어떻게 말을 해야 어머니가 더 잘 기억하실까 생각하며 마치 처음 말하는 것처럼 다시 한 번 자세히 되풀이해서 말했습니다. 어머니는 노인성 치매 질환을 앓고 있습니다. 그 질환은 점차 기억을 잃게 만들어 행동에 악영향을 미치고, 결국은 언어 상실을 비롯한 여러 가지 장애를 유발시킵니다. 나는 어머니의 병 때문에 슬프지만 어머니가 아직 계셔서 함께 시간을 보낼 수 있고 대화도 나눌 수 있는 것이 감사합니다. 어머니를 만나러 가면 언제나 어머니는 “알리슨, 네가 올 줄 몰랐는데 너무 좋구나!”라고 탄성을 지르며 기뻐하시는 모습이 나를 행복하게 합니다. 우리는 서로 같이 있는 것이 즐겁고, 어머니가 표현할 말을 찾지 못해 침묵이 흐를 때에도 마음으로 서로 교통합니다. 이것은 아마도 하나님과 우리의 관계의 축소판이라 할 수 있을 것입니다. 성경은 “여호와는 자기를 경외하는 자들과 그의 인자하심을 바라는 자들을 기뻐하시는도다”(시 147:11)라고 말합니다. 하나님은 예수님을 구주로 믿는 자들을 그분의 자녀라고 부르십니다(요 1:12). 우리가 같은 간구를 끊임없이 반복하거나 말없이 그냥 있을 때에도, 주님은 우리를 사랑하시기에 우리를 참아주십니다. 주님은 우리가 기도할 때, 심지어 우리가 말로 표현하지 못할 때에도 우리와 대화하는 것을 기뻐하십니다.

God delights to hear from us!

1. Psalm 147 Praise the LORD. How good it is to sing praises to our God, how pleasant and fitting to praise him!

2. The LORD builds up Jerusalem; he gathers the exiles of Israel.

3. He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.

4. He determines the number of the stars and calls them each by name.

5. Great is our Lord and mighty in power; his understanding has no limit.

6. The LORD sustains the humble but casts the wicked to the ground.

7. Sing to the LORD with thanksgiving; make music to our God on the harp.

8. He covers the sky with clouds; he supplies the earth with rain and makes grass grow on the hills.

9. He provides food for the cattle and for the young ravens when they call.

10. His pleasure is not in the strength of the horse, nor his delight in the legs of a man;

11. the LORD delights in those who fear him, who put their hope in his unfailing love.

• 사랑하는 주님, 우리와 교제하기를 원하시니 너무 기쁩니다! 성경을 통해 주님을 알게 해주시고 기도를 통해 주님과 대화할 수 있게 해주셔서 감사합니다.

하나님은 우리의 기도를 듣는 것을 기뻐하신다.

1. 할렐루야 우리 하나님을 찬양하는 일이 선함이여 찬송하는 일이 아름답고 마땅하도다

2. 여호와께서 예루살렘을 세우시며 이스라엘의 흩어진 자들을 모으시며

3. 상심한 자들을 고치시며 그들의 상처를 싸매시는도다

4. 그가 별들의 수효를 세시고 그것들을 다 이름대로 부르시는도다

5. 우리 주는 위대하시며 능력이 많으시며 그의 지혜가 무궁하시도다

6. 여호와께서 겸손한 자들은 붙드시고 악인들은 땅에 엎드러뜨리시는도다

7. 감사함으로 여호와께 노래하며 수금으로 하나님께 찬양할지어다

8. 그가 구름으로 하늘을 덮으시며 땅을 위하여 비를 준비하시며 산에 풀이 자라게 하시며

9. 들짐승과 우는 까마귀 새끼에게 먹을 것을 주시는도다

10. 여호와는 말의 힘이 세다 하여 기뻐하지 아니하시며 사람의 다리가 억세다 하여 기뻐하지 아니하시고

11. 여호와는 자기를 경외하는 자들과 그의 인자하심을 바라는 자들을 기뻐하시는도다
