Look What Jesus Has Done		예수께서 하신 일을 보라
[ Luke 8:1 - 8:8 ] - hymn 505 See that you . . . excel in this grace of giving. 2 Corinthians 8:7 The little boy was only eight when he announced to his parents¡¯ friend Wally, ¡°I love Jesus and want to serve God overseas someday.¡± During the next ten years or so, Wally prayed for him as he watched him grow up. When this young man later applied with a mission agency to go to Mali, Wally told him, ¡°It¡¯s about time! When I heard what you wanted to do, I invested some money and have been saving it for you, waiting for this exciting news.¡± Wally has a heart for others and for getting God¡¯s good news to people. Jesus and His disciples needed financial support as they traveled from one town and village to another, telling the good news of His kingdom (Luke 8:1–3). A group of women who had been cured of evil spirits and diseases helped to support them ¡°out of their own means¡± (v. 3). One was Mary Magdalene, who had been freed from the presence of seven demons. Another was Joanna, the wife of an official in Herod¡¯s court. Nothing is known about Susanna and ¡°many others¡± (v. 3), but we know that Jesus had met their spiritual needs. Now they were helping Him and His disciples through giving their financial resources. When we consider what Jesus has done for us, His heart for others becomes our own. Let¡¯s ask God how He wants to use us. Anne Cetas		[ 누가복음 8:1 - 8:8 ] - 찬송가 505 장 오직 너희는…이 은혜에도 풍성하게 할지니라 고린도후서 8:7 그 조그마한 소년이 부모님의 친구인 왈리에게 “저는 예수님을 사랑해요. 그래서 언젠가는 해외로 나가서 하나님을 위해서 일할 거예요.”라고 했을 때 그의 나이는 불과 여덟 살이었습니다. 그 후 십여 년 동안 왈리는 소년이 성장하는 모습을 지켜보며 그를 위해서 기도했습니다. 이 청년이 드디어 말리공화국으로 가기 위해 선교단체에 신청하자 왈리가 그에게 말했습니다. “드디어 때가 되었구나! 내가 너의 장래의 희망에 대해 들었을 때부터 너를 위해 어느 정도의 돈을 투자해서 저금해왔단다. 이 좋은 소식을 기다리면서 말이지.” 왈리에게는 사람들에게 하나님의 복음을 전해주고자 하는 마음과 다른 사람을 위하는 마음이 있었습니다. 예수님과 그의 제자들이 마을들을 돌아다니며 하나님 나라의 복음을 전할 때(눅 8:1-3) 그들에게도 재정적인 도움이 필요했습니다. 그럴 때 악한 영과 병으로부터 고침을 받은 여자들이 “자기들의 소유로”(3절) 그들을 도왔습니다. 일곱 귀신이 나간 막달라인이라 하는 마리아가 그들 중의 한 명이었고, 또 헤롯의 청지기의 아내 요안나도 있었습니다. 수산나와 “다른 여러 여자”(3절)에 대해서는 알려진 바가 없지만, 우리는 예수님께서 그들의 영적 필요를 채워주셨음을 압니다. 이제 그들은 자기들의 소유를 드림으로 예수님과 그의 제자들을 도왔습니다. 예수님께서 우리에게 하신 일들을 깊이 생각할 때, 다른 이들을 위하는 주님의 마음이 우리의 마음이 됩니다. 하나님께 우리를 어떻게 쓰시기를 원하시는지 여쭤봅시다.

Jesus gave His all; He deserves our all.

1. After this, Jesus traveled about from one town and village to another, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom of God. The Twelve were with him,
2. and also some women who had been cured of evil spirits and diseases: Mary (called Magdalene) from whom seven demons had come out;
3. Joanna the wife of Cuza, the manager of Herod's household; Susanna; and many others. These women were helping to support them out of their own means.
4. While a large crowd was gathering and people were coming to Jesus from town after town, he told this parable:
5. "A farmer went out to sow his seed. As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path; it was trampled on, and the birds of the air ate it up.
6. Some fell on rock, and when it came up, the plants withered because they had no moisture.
7. Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up with it and choked the plants.
8. Still other seed fell on good soil. It came up and yielded a crop, a hundred times more than was sown." When he said this, he called out, "He who has ears to hear, let him hear."

예수님은 그분의 모든 것을 우리에게 주셨으니 우리의 모든 것을 받으실 만하다.

1. 그 후에 예수께서 각 성과 마을에 두루 다니시며 하나님의 나라를 선포하시며 그 복음을 전하실새 열두 제자가 함께 하였고
2. 또한 악귀를 쫓아내심과 병 고침을 받은 어떤 여자들 곧 일곱 귀신이 나간 자 막달라인이라 하는 마리아와
3. 헤롯의 청지기 구사의 아내 요안나와 수산나와 다른 여러 여자가 함께 하여 자기들의 소유로 그들을 섬기더라
4. 각 동네 사람들이 예수께로 나아와 큰 무리를 이루니 예수께서 비유로 말씀하시되
5. 씨를 뿌리는 자가 그 씨를 뿌리러 나가서 뿌릴새 더러는 길 가에 떨어지매 밟히며 공중의 새들이 먹어버렸고
6. 더러는 바위 위에 떨어지매 싹이 났다가 습기가 없으므로 말랐고
7. 더러는 가시떨기 속에 떨어지매 가시가 함께 자라서 기운을 막았고
8. 더러는 좋은 땅에 떨어지매 나서 백 배의 결실을 하였느니라 이 말씀을 하시고 외치시되 들을 귀 있는 자는 들을지어다
