A Treasure to be Shared		나누어야 할 보물
[ 2 Corinthians 4:1 - 4:7 ] - hymn 497 We have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. 2 Corinthians 4:7 In March 1974, Chinese farmers were digging a well when they made a surprising discovery: Buried under the dry ground of central China was the Terracotta Army—life-size terracotta sculptures that dated back to the third century bc. In this extraordinary find were some 8,000 soldiers, 150 cavalry horses, and 130 chariots drawn by 520 horses. The Terracotta Army has become one of the most popular tourist sites in China, attracting over a million visitors annually. This amazing treasure lay hidden for centuries but is now being shared with the world. The apostle Paul wrote that followers of Christ have a treasure inside them that is to be shared with the world: ¡°We now have this light shining in our hearts, but we ourselves are like fragile clay jars containing this great treasure (2 Cor. 4:7 nlt). The treasure inside us is the message of Christ and His love. This treasure is not to be hidden but is to be shared so that by God¡¯s love and grace people of every nation can be welcomed into His family. May we, through His Spirit¡¯s working, share that treasure with someone today. Bill Crowder		[ 고린도후서 4:1 - 4:7 ] - 찬송가 497 장 우리가 이 보배를 질그릇에 가졌으니 이는 심히 큰 능력은 하나님께 있고 우리에게 있지 아니함을 알게 하려 함이라 고린도후서 4:7 1974년 3월 중국의 농부들이 우물을 파다가 놀라운 발견을 했습니다. 기원전 3세기에 만들어진 점토로 된 실물 크기의 군대 조각물들이 중국 중부의 메마른 땅 아래 묻혀 있었던 것입니다. 약 8천 명의 군인, 150마리의 군마, 그리고 520마리의 말이 끄는 130대의 전차를 발굴한 실로 놀라운 발견이었습니다. 이 점토로 된 군대는 매년 백만 명 이상의 관광객이 찾아오는 중국에서 가장 유명한 관광명소 중 하나가 되었습니다. 오랫동안 숨겨져 있었던 이 놀라운 보물이 이제는 전 세계와 함께 나눌 수 있게 되었습니다. 바울 사도는 그리스도를 따르는 사람들 안에도 세상과 나누어야 할 보물이 있다고 썼습니다. “우리가 이 보배를 질그릇에 가졌으니 이는 심히 큰 능력은 하나님께 있고 우리에게 있지 아니함을 알게 하려 함이라”(고후 4:7). 우리 안에 있는 보물은 바로 그리스도의 말씀과 그분의 사랑입니다. 이 보물이 숨겨지지 않고 나누어져서 하나님의 사랑과 은혜로 말미암아 세상 모든 민족이 하나님의 가족으로 초청될 수 있어야 합니다. 성령님의 사역을 통해 오늘 우리가 그 보물을 누군가와 나눌 수 있게 되기를 바랍니다.

• The good news of Jesus is too wonderful to keep to myself, Father. May I live the gospel and share it with others throughout my journey with You, Lord.

Let others see your testimony as well as hear it.

1. Therefore, since through God's mercy we have this ministry, we do not lose heart.
2. Rather, we have renounced secret and shameful ways; we do not use deception, nor do we distort the word of God. On the contrary, by setting forth the truth plainly we commend ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.
3. And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing.
4. The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.
5. For we do not preach ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus' sake.
6. For God, who said, "Let light shine out of darkness," made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.
7. But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us.

• 하나님 아버지, 예수님의 복음은 나만 간직하기에는 너무 놀라운 것입니다. 주님과 함께하는 온 여정 가운데 내가 복음으로 살고 그것을 다른 사람들과 함께 나눌 수 있게 해주소서.

사람들이 당신의 간증을 듣고 보게 하라.

1. 그러므로 우리가 이 직분을 받아 긍휼하심을 입은 대로 낙심하지 아니하고
2. 이에 숨은 부끄러움의 일을 버리고 속임으로 행하지 아니하며 하나님의 말씀을 혼잡하게 하지 아니하고 오직 진리를 나타냄으로 하나님 앞에서 각 사람의 양심에 대하여 스스로 추천하노라
3. 만일 우리의 복음이 가리었으면 망하는 자들에게 가리어진 것이라
4. 그 중에 이 세상의 신이 믿지 아니하는 자들의 마음을 혼미하게 하여 그리스도의 영광의 복음의 광채가 비치지 못하게 함이니 그리스도는 하나님의 형상이니라
5. 우리는 우리를 전파하는 것이 아니라 오직 그리스도 예수의 주 되신 것과 또 예수를 위하여 우리가 너희의 종 된 것을 전파함이라
6. 어두운 데에 빛이 비치라 말씀하셨던 그 하나님께서 예수 그리스도의 얼굴에 있는 하나님의 영광을 아는 빛을 우리 마음에 비추셨느니라
7. 우리가 이 보배를 질그릇에 가졌으니 이는 심히 큰 능력은 하나님께 있고 우리에게 있지 아니함을 알게 하려 함이라
