Nothing Hidden		아무것도 숨길 수 없음
[ Hebrews 4:12 - 4:16 ] - hymn 420 Nothing in all creation is hidden from God¡¯s sight. Hebrews 4:13 In 2015 an international research company stated that there were 245 million surveillance cameras installed worldwide, and the number was growing by 15 percent every year. In addition, multiplied millions of people with smartphones capture daily images ranging from birthday parties to bank robberies. Whether we applaud the increased security or denounce the diminished privacy, we live in a global, cameras-everywhere society. The New Testament book of Hebrews says that in our relationship with God, we experience a far greater level of exposure and accountability than anything surveillance cameras may see. His Word, like a sharp, two-edged sword, penetrates to the deepest level of our being where it ¡°judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Nothing in all creation is hidden from God¡¯s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account¡± (Heb. 4:12–13). Because Jesus our Savior experienced our weaknesses and temptations but did not sin, we can ¡°approach God¡¯s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need¡± (vv. 15–16). We don¡¯t need to fear Him but can be assured we¡¯ll find grace when we come to Him. David McCasland		[ 히브리서 4:12 - 4:16 ] - 찬송가 420 장 지으신 것이 하나도 그 앞에 나타나지 않음이 없고 히브리서 4:13 2015년 한 국제적인 리서치 회사의 보고에 의하면, 전 세계적으로 2억 4천5백만여 개의 감시카메라가 설치되어 있고, 그 수는 매년 15퍼센트씩 증가하고 있다고 합니다. 거기에다 수많은 스마트폰 사용자들도 생일파티부터 은행 강도 사건에 이르기까지 이런저런 일상을 카메라에 담고 있습니다. 보안이 강화된다고 갈채를 보내든, 아니면 사생활이 위축된다고 비난을 하든, 우리는 전 세계적으로 카메라에 둘러싸인 사회 속에서 살고 있는 것입니다. 신약성경의 히브리서는 우리와 하나님 사이의 관계에서 감시카메라가 찍는 것보다 훨씬 더 높은 수준의 노출과 책임을 경험한다고 말합니다. 하나님의 말씀은 예리하고 좌우에 날선 검과 같으며, 우리의 가장 깊은 곳까지 찔러 쪼개며 “마음에 품은 생각과 의도를 밝혀냅니다. 하나님 앞에는 아무 피조물도 숨겨진 것이 없고, 모든 것이 그의 눈앞에 벌거숭이로 드러나 있습니다. 우리는 그의 앞에 모든 것을 드러내놓아야 합니다”(히 4:12-13, 새번역). 우리 구주 예수님은 우리처럼 연약함과 시험을 겪으셨지만 죄가 없으신 분이기 때문에, 우리는 “긍휼하심을 받고 때를 따라 돕는 은혜를 얻기 위하여 은혜의 보좌 앞에 담대히 나아갈”(15-16절) 수 있습니다. 우리는 하나님을 두려워할 필요가 없으며, 오히려 그분께 나아갈 때 은혜를 얻게 될 것을 확신할 수 있습니다.

• Nothing is hidden from God¡¯s sight. Nothing is greater than God¡¯s love. Nothing is stronger than God¡¯s mercy and grace. Nothing is too hard for God¡¯s power.

No part of our lives is hidden from God¡¯s grace and power.

12. For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.
13. Nothing in all creation is hidden from God's sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account.
14. Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has gone through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess.
15. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are -- yet was without sin.
16. Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

• 그 어떤 것도 하나님의 눈앞에서 숨길 수 없습니다. 하나님의 사랑보다 더 큰 것은 없으며, 하나님의 자비와 은혜보다 더 강한 것은 없습니다. 하나님께는 능히 하지 못할 일이 전혀 없으십니다.

우리 삶의 어떤 부분도 하나님의 은혜와 능력으로부터 감춰질 수 없다.

12. 하나님의 말씀은 살아 있고 활력이 있어 좌우에 날선 어떤 검보다도 예리하여 혼과 영과 및 관절과 골수를 찔러 쪼개기까지 하며 또 마음의 생각과 뜻을 판단하나니
13. 지으신 것이 하나도 그 앞에 나타나지 않음이 없고 우리의 결산을 받으실 이의 눈 앞에 만물이 벌거벗은 것 같이 드러나느니라
14. 그러므로 우리에게 큰 대제사장이 계시니 승천하신 이 곧 하나님의 아들 예수시라 우리가 믿는 도리를 굳게 잡을지어다
15. 우리에게 있는 대제사장은 우리의 연약함을 동정하지 못하실 이가 아니요 모든 일에 우리와 똑같이 시험을 받으신 이로되 죄는 없으시니라
16. 그러므로 우리는 긍휼하심을 받고 때를 따라 돕는 은혜를 얻기 위하여 은혜의 보좌 앞에 담대히 나아갈 것이니라
