Your Father Knows		하나님 아버지께서 아신다
[ Matthew 6:25 - 6:34 ] - hymn 543 Your Father knows what you need before you ask him. - Matthew 6:8 I was only four years old as I lay by my father on a floor mat on a hot summer night. (My mother, with a baby, had her own room at the time.) This was in northern Ghana where the climate is mostly dry. Sweat covered my body, and the heat parched my throat. I felt so thirsty I shook my father awake. In the middle of that dry night, he rose up and poured water from a jar for me to quench my thirst. Throughout my life, as he did that night, he exemplified the image of a caring father. He provided what I needed. Some people may not have a good father figure in their lives. But we all have a Father who is strong and ever-present and who does not disappoint us. Jesus taught us to pray to ¡°our Father in heaven¡±(Matt.6:9). He told us that when our daily needs confront us—food, clothing, shelter, protection (v.31)—¡°your Father knows what you need before you ask him¡± (v.8). We have a Father who is always there. Night or day, whenever the going gets tough, we can trust that He will never abandon us. He has promised to care for us, and He knows better than we do what we need.		[ 마태복음 6:25 - 6:34 ] - 찬송가 543 장 구하기 전에 너희에게 있어야 할 것을 하나님 너희 아버지께서 아시느니라 - 마태복음 6:8 내 나이 고작 4살이었을 때, 아주 더운 한여름 밤에 마루 돗자리 위에 아버지와 함께 누워있었습니다. (어머니는 그 당시 아기와 함께 다른 방에 있었습니다.) 그곳은 기후가 항상 건조한 북부 가나 지역이었습니다. 온 몸이 땀으로 뒤덮이고, 더위로 내 목이 타들어갔습니다. 나는 너무 목이 말라 아버지를 흔들어 깨웠습니다. 그 건조한 한밤중에 아버지는 일어나 내 갈증을 달래기 위해 물병에서 물을 따라주셨습니다. 그날 밤 하셨던 것처럼, 아버지는 내 일생에 걸쳐 보살피는 아버지상의 모범이 되어주셨습니다. 아버지는 내게 필요한 것을 공급해주셨습니다. 어떤 이들은 그들이 사는 동안 좋은 아버지의 상을 못 가져보기도 합니다. 그러나 우리 모두에게는 강하시고 항상 계시며 우리를 실망시키지 않는 하나님 아버지가 있습니다. 예수님은 우리에게 “하늘에 계신 우리 아버지”(마 6:9)에게 기도하라고 가르치셨습니다. 예수님은 우리가 먹을 것이나 입을 것, 살 곳과 피할 곳(31절) 같이 일용할 것들이 필요하게 될 때, “구하기 전에 너희에게 있어야 할 것을 하나님 너희 아버지께서 아시느니라”(8절)라고 말씀하셨습니다. 우리에게는 언제나 거기 계시는 하나님 아버지가 있습니다. 밤이나 낮이나 어느 때고 어려움을 당할 때, 하나님이 우리를 결코 저버리시지 않을 것이라는 것을 믿을 수 있습니다. 하나님은 우리를 돌보아주시겠다고 약속하셨고, 우리에게 무엇이 필요한지 우리보다 더 잘 아십니다.

Thank You, Lord, for the privilege of coming to You as my Father. You know my needs before I even ask. Thank You that You will never turn me away.

Your loving heavenly Father never takes His eyes off you.

Matthew 6:25–34

[25] "Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?
[26] "Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?
[27] "Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?
[28] "So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin;
[29] "and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
[30] "Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?
[31] "Therefore do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?'
[32] "For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.
[33] "But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
[34] "Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

하나님, 나의 아버지로 하나님께 다가갈 수 있는 특권을 주시니 감사합니다. 하나님은 내가 구하기도 전에 내게 필요한 것들을 아십니다. 나를 결코 거절하지 않으심을 감사합니다.

우리를 사랑하는 하나님 아버지는 결코 우리에게서 눈을 떼지 않으신다.

마태복음 6:25–34

[25] 그러므로 내가 너희에게 이르노니 목숨을 위하여 무엇을 먹을까 무엇을 마실까 몸을 위하여 무엇을 입을까 염려하지 말라 목숨이 음식보다 중하지 아니하며 몸이 의복보다 중하지 아니하냐
[26] 공중의 새를 보라 심지도 않고 거두지도 않고 창고에 모아들이지도 아니하되 너희 하늘 아버지께서 기르시나니 너희는 이것들보다 귀하지 아니하냐
[27] 너희 중에 누가 염려함으로 그 키를 한 자라도 더할 수 있겠느냐
[28] 또 너희가 어찌 의복을 위하여 염려하느냐 들의 백합화가 어떻게 자라는가 생각하여 보라 수고도 아니하고 길쌈도 아니하느니라
[29] 그러나 내가 너희에게 말하노니 솔로몬의 모든 영광으로도 입은 것이 이 꽃 하나만 같지 못하였느니라
[30] 오늘 있다가 내일 아궁이에 던져지는 들풀도 하나님이 이렇게 입히시거든 하물며 너희일까보냐 믿음이 작은 자들아
[31] 그러므로 염려하여 이르기를 무엇을 먹을까 무엇을 마실까 무엇을 입을까 하지 말라
[32] 이는 다 이방인들이 구하는 것이라 너희 하늘 아버지께서 이 모든 것이 너희에게 있어야 할 줄을 아시느니라
[33] 그런즉 너희는 먼저 그의 나라와 그의 의를 구하라 그리하면 이 모든 것을 너희에게 더하시리라
[34] 그러므로 내일 일을 위하여 염려하지 말라 내일 일은 내일이 염려할 것이요 한 날의 괴로움은 그 날로 족하니라
