As It Is Written		기록된 대로
[ Ezra 3:1 - 3:6 ] - hymn 205 [They] built the altar ... to offer burnt offerings on it, as it is written. — Ezra 3:2 NKJV When it comes to putting things together—electronics, furniture, and the like—my son and I have differing approaches. Steve is more mechanically inclined, so he tends to toss the instructions aside and just start in. Meanwhile, I¡¯m poring over the ¡°Read This Before Starting¡± warning while he has already put the thing halfway together. Sometimes we can get by without the instructions. But when it comes to putting together a life that reflects the goodness and wisdom of God, we can¡¯t afford to ignore the directions He¡¯s given to us in the Bible. The Israelites who had returned to their land after the Babylonian captivity are a good example of this. As they began to reestablish worship in their homeland, they prepared to do so ¡°in accordance with what is written in the Law of Moses¡±(Ezra 3:2). By building a proper altar and in celebrating the Feast of Tabernacles as prescribed by God in Leviticus 23:33-43, they did exactly what God¡¯s directions told them to do. Christ gave His followers some directions too. He said, ¡°Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.¡± And ¡°love your neighbor as yourself¡±(Matt.22:37,39). When we believe in Him and come to Him, He shows us the way to live. The One who made us knows far better than we do how life is supposed to work. - Dave Branon		[ 에스라 3:1 - 3:6 ] - 찬송가 205 장 하나님의 제단을 만들고…기록한 대로 번제를 그 위에 드리려 할새 - 에스라 3:2 전자제품이나 가구, 그 외 다른 것들을 조립할 때 나와 우리 아들은 각자 다른 방식으로 접근합니다. 기계를 다루는 데 익숙한 스티브는 안내서를 던져버리고 곧바로 조립을 시작합니다. 반면 스티브가 거의 절반을 끝낼 때까지도 나는 “조립 전에 읽을 사항”들을 열심히 읽습니다. 우리는 때때로 안내서가 없이도 그럭저럭 살아갈 수 있습니다. 하지만 하나님의 선하심과 지혜를 드러내는 삶을 살기를 원한다면 하나님께서 성경에 일러주신 안내사항들을 무시해서는 안 됩니다. 바벨론에서의 포로생활이 끝난 후 본국으로 돌아온 이스라엘 민족이 좋은 예입니다. 그들이 고국에서 다시 여호와께 제사를 드리기 시작했을 때 그들은 “모세의 율법에 기록한 대로”(스 3:2) 준비하였습니다. 제대로 된 제단을 쌓고, 레위기 23:33-43에 기록된 하나님의 말씀대로 초막절을 지킴으로써 그들은 하나님이 그들에게 하라고 한 대로 그대로 따랐습니다. 그리스도도 그를 따르는 자들에게 안내서를 주셨습니다. “네 마음을 다하고 목숨을 다하고 뜻을 다하여 주 너의 하나님을 사랑하라”고 하셨으며, 또 “네 이웃을 네 자신 같이 사랑하라”고 하셨습니다(마 22:37,39). 우리가 주님을 믿고 주님께로 나아가면, 주님은 우리에게 살아가야 할 길을 보여주십니다. 우리를 만드신 분은 우리가 어떻게 살아야 하는지 우리보다 훨씬 더 잘 알고 계십니다.

Remind us, Lord, as we start each day that You have already shown us by Your example how to live. Help us to read Your Word and follow the directions You so graciously provide for us.

If we want God to lead us, we must be willing to follow Him.

Ezra 3:1-6

[1] And when the seventh month had come, and the children of Israel were in the cities, the people gathered together as one man to Jerusalem.
[2] Then Jeshua the son of Jozadak and his brethren the priests, and Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel and his brethren, arose and built the altar of the God of Israel, to offer burnt offerings on it, as it is written in the Law of Moses the man of God.
[3] Though fear had come upon them because of the people of those countries, they set the altar on its bases; and they offered burnt offerings on it to the LORD, both the morning and evening burnt offerings.
[4] They also kept the Feast of Tabernacles, as it is written, and offered the daily burnt offerings in the number required by ordinance for each day.
[5] Afterwards they offered the regular burnt offering, and those for New Moons and for all the appointed feasts of the LORD that were consecrated, and those of everyone who willingly offered a freewill offering to the LORD.
[6] From the first day of the seventh month they began to offer burnt offerings to the LORD, although the foundation of the temple of the LORD had not been laid.

주님, 하루를 시작할 때, 우리가 어떻게 살아야 할지를 주님께서 이미 보여주셨음을 상기시켜 주소서. 주님의 말씀을 읽고 주님이 우리를 위해 은혜로 이끄시는 대로 따를 수 있도록 도와주소서.

하나님께서 인도해주시기를 원한다면, 기꺼이 하나님을 따를 수 있어야 한다.

에스라 3:1-6

[1] 이스라엘 자손이 각자의 성읍에 살았더니 일곱째 달에 이르러 일제히 예루살렘에 모인지라
[2] 요사닥의 아들 예수아와 그의 형제 제사장들과 스알디엘의 아들 스룹바벨과 그의 형제들이 다 일어나 이스라엘 하나님의 제단을 만들고 하나님의 사람 모세의 율법에 기록한 대로 번제를 그 위에서 드리려 할새
[3] 무리가 모든 나라 백성을 두려워하여 제단을 그 터에 세우고 그 위에서 아침 저녁으로 여호와께 번제를 드리며
[4] 기록된 규례대로 초막절을 지켜 번제를 매일 정수대로 날마다 드리고
[5] 그 후에는 항상 드리는 번제와 초하루와 여호와의 모든 거룩한 절기의 번제와 사람이 여호와께 기쁘게 드리는 예물을 드리되
[6] 일곱째 달 초하루부터 비로소 여호와께 번제를 드렸으나 그 때에 여호와의 성전 지대는 미처 놓지 못한지라
