Bringing Our Friends to Jesus		친구를 예수님께 데려가기
[ Mark 2:1 - 2:12 ] - hymn 357 When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralyzed man, ¡°Son, your sins are forgiven.¡± - Mark 2:5 During my childhood, one of the most feared diseases was polio, often called ¡°infantile paralysis¡± because most of those infected were young children. Before a preventive vaccine was developed in the mid-1950s, some 20,000 people were paralyzed by polio and about 1,000 died from it each year in the United States alone. In ancient times, paralysis was viewed as a permanent, hopeless condition. But one group of men believed Jesus could help their paralyzed friend. While Jesus was teaching in the village of Capernaum, four of the men carried the man to Him. When they couldn¡¯t reach Jesus because of the crowd, ¡°they made an opening in the roof above Jesus by digging through it and then lowered the mat the man was lying on¡±(Mark 2:1-4). ¡°When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralyzed man, ¡®Son, your sins are forgiven¡¯¡±(v.5), followed by ¡°Get up, take your mat and go home¡±(v.11). How remarkable that in response to the faith of the men who brought their friend, Jesus forgave his sins and healed his incurable condition! When someone we know is facing serious physical difficulty or a spiritual crisis, it is our privilege to join together in prayer, bringing our friends to Jesus—the only One who can meet their deepest needs. - David McCasland		[ 마가복음 2:1 - 2:12 ] - 찬송가 357 장 예수께서 그들의 믿음을 보시고 중풍병자에게 이르시되 작은 자야 네 죄 사함을 받았느니라 하시고 - 마가복음 2:5 내가 어렸을 때, 사람들이 가장 두려워한 질병 중에 하나가 소아마비였고, 전염된 환자 대부분이 어린아이들이어서 ‘소아마비’라고 불리게 되었습니다. 1950년대 중엽에 예방주사가 개발되기 전에는, 미국에서만도 매년 20,000여명이 소아마비에 걸려 몸이 마비되었고, 그 중 1,000명 정도가 사망했습니다. 옛날에는 신체마비는 평생불구로, 그리고 희망이 없는 것으로 여겨졌습니다. 그런데 한 무리의 사람들이 그들의 중풍병자 친구를 예수님이 낫게 해주실 것이라고 믿었습니다. 예수님이 가버나움 마을에서 말씀을 가르치고 계실 때, 네 명의 친구들이 그를 들어 예수님께로 데려왔습니다. 그런데 사람들로 가득 차서 예수님께 가까이 갈 수 없게 되자, “예수님 위의 지붕을 뜯어 구멍을 내고 중풍병자가 누운 상을 달아 내렸습니다”(막 2:1-4). “예수께서 그들의 믿음을 보시고 중풍병자에게 이르시되 작은 자야 네 죄 사함을 받았느니라”(5절) 하시고, 이어서 “일어나 네 상을 가지고 집으로 가라”(11절)라고 하셨습니다. 친구를 데리고 온 동료들의 믿음을 보시고 예수님은 그의 죄를 사해주시고 불치의 병을 고쳐주시는 아주 놀라운 반응을 보여주셨습니다! 우리가 아는 사람이 심각한 육신적인 어려움이나 정신적인 위기에 처해 있을 때, 그들과 더불어 기도하며 그들을 그들의 가장 깊은 필요를 채워줄 수 있는 오직 한 분 예수님께로 인도하는 것은 우리의 특권입니다.

Lord Jesus, we know that You can speak the words of eternal life and healing to people in great need. We bring them to You in prayer today.

Praying for others is a privilege—and a responsibility.

Mark 2:1-12

[1] A few days later, when Jesus again entered Capernaum, the people heard that he had come home.
[2] They gathered in such large numbers that there was no room left, not even outside the door, and he preached the word to them.
[3] Some men came, bringing to him a paralyzed man, carried by four of them.
[4] Since they could not get him to Jesus because of the crowd, they made an opening in the roof above Jesus by digging through it and then lowered the mat the man was lying on.
[5] When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralyzed man, ¡°Son, your sins are forgiven.¡±
[6] Now some teachers of the law were sitting there, thinking to themselves,
[7] ¡°Why does this fellow talk like that? He¡¯s blaspheming! Who can forgive sins but God alone?¡±
[8] Immediately Jesus knew in his spirit that this was what they were thinking in their hearts, and he said to them, ¡°Why are you thinking these things?
[9] Which is easier: to say to this paralyzed man, ¡®Your sins are forgiven,¡¯ or to say, ¡®Get up, take your mat and walk¡¯?
[10] But I want you to know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins.¡± So he said to the man,
[11] ¡°I tell you, get up, take your mat and go home.¡±
[12] He got up, took his mat and walked out in full view of them all. This amazed everyone and they praised God, saying, ¡°We have never seen anything like this!¡±

주 예수님, 우리는 주님이 영원한 생명에 대해 말씀하시며, 또 큰 어려움에 처한 사람들을 치유해주실 수 있음을 압니다. 오늘 우리의 기도로 그들을 주님 앞으로 데리고 나옵니다.

다른 사람을 위해 기도하는 것은 하나의 특권이자 책임이다.

마가복음 2:1-12

[1] 수일후에 예수께서 다시 가버나움에 들어가시니 집에 계신 소문이 들린지라
[2] 많은 사람이 모여서 문 앞에라도 용신할 수 없게 되었는데 예수께서 저희에게 도를 말씀하시더니
[3] 사람들이 한 중풍병자를 네 사람에게 메워 가지고 예수께로 올쌔
[4] 무리를 인하여 예수께 데려갈 수 없으므로 그 계신 곳의 지붕을 뜯어 구멍을 내고 중풍병자의 누운 상을 달아내리니
[5] 예수께서 저희의 믿음을 보시고 중풍환자에게 이르시되 소자야 네 죄 사함을 받았느니라 하시니
[6] 어떤 서기관들이 거기 앉아서 마음에 의논하기를
[7] 이 사람이 어찌 이렇게 말하는가 참람하도다 오직 하나님 한 분외에는 누가 능히 죄를 사하겠느냐
[8] 저희가 속으로 이렇게 의논하는 줄을 예수께서 곧 중심에 아시고 이르시되 어찌하여 이것을 마음에 의논하느냐
[9] 중풍병자에게 네 죄 사함을 받았느니라 하는 말과 일어나 네 상을 가지고 걸어가라 하는 말이 어느것이 쉽겠느냐
[10] 그러나 인자가 땅에서 죄를 사하는 권세가 있는 줄을 너희로 알게 하려 하노라 하시고 중풍병자에게 말씀하시되
[11] 내가 네게 이르노니 일어나 네상을 가지고 집으로 가라 하시니
[12] 그가 일어나 곧 상을 가지고 모든 사람 앞에서 나가거늘 저희가 다 놀라 영광을 하나님께 돌리며 가로되 우리가 이런일을 도무지 보지 못하였다 하더라
