[ Isaiah 49:13 - 49:20 ] - hymn 393 The Lord comforts his people and will have compassion on his afflicted ones. - Isaiah 49:13 There is rarely a problem-free season in our lives, but sometimes the onslaught is terrifying. Rose saw her entire family, except for her two little daughters, slaughtered in the Rwandan Genocide of 1994. Now she is a widow among many widows with little money. But she refuses to be defeated. She has adopted two orphans and simply trusts God to provide for the food and school fees for her family of five. She translates Christian literature into the local language and organizes an annual conference for other widows. Rose wept as she told me her story. But for every problem in her life she has one simple remedy. ¡°For this,¡± she said, ¡°I have Jesus.¡± God knows exactly what you are facing today. Isaiah reminds us that God¡¯s knowledge of us is so intimate that it is as if our names were written on the palms of His hands (Isa.49:16). We may sometimes neglect the needs of others, even those who are closest to us, but God is aware of every detail of our lives. And He has given us His Spirit to guide, to comfort, and to strengthen us. Think of the challenges you face at this moment, and then write these words beside each one as a reminder of His faithfulness and care: ¡°For this, I have Jesus.¡±- Marion Stroud		[ 이사야 49:13 - 49:20 ] - 찬송가 393 장 여호와께서 그의 백성을 위로하셨은즉 그의 고난당한 자를 긍휼히 여기실 것임이라 - 이사야 49:13 우리 인생에서 역경이 없는 계절은 거의 없지만, 때로는 소름이 끼칠 정도로 고난이 엄습할 때가 있습니다. 로즈는 1994년 르완다 인종학살 때 두 딸을 제외한 온 식구가 살해되는 것을 보았습니다. 지금 그녀는 수많은 가난한 미망인들 중의 한 사람입니다. 그러나 그녀는 좌절하지 않습니다. 그녀는 고아 두 명을 입양하고, 하나님이 그들 다섯 식구의 식량과 학교 등록금을 제공해주시리라 소박하게 믿습니다. 그녀는 기독교서적을 그 지방의 언어로 번역하고, 다른 미망인들을 위한 연례집회를 주선합니다. 그녀는 자신의 이야기를 하면서 흐느껴 울었습니다. 그러나 그녀에게는 생의 모든 문제를 해결해줄 수 있는 한 가지 간단한 치유책이 있습니다. 그녀는 “이 때문에 예수님이 제게 계세요.”라고 말했습니다. 하나님은 당신이 오늘 어떤 일을 당하고 있는지 정확히 알고 계십니다. 이사야 선지자는 하나님이 우리에 대해 너무나 훤히 알고 계셔서 마치 우리 이름이 하나님의 손바닥에 새겨진 것과 같다고 했습니다(사 49:16). 우리는 때때로 다른 사람들, 심지어 가장 가까운 사람들도 잘 챙겨주지 못하지만, 하나님은 우리 삶의 모든 구석구석을 알고 계십니다. 그리고 우리를 인도하시고 위로하시고 또 강하게 하시기 위해 우리에게 성령님을 보내주셨습니다. 바로 지금 당신이 직면하고 있는 문제들을 생각해보고, 주님은 신실하시며 돌보고 계신다는 것을 기억할 수 있도록 각 문제 옆에 이렇게 써놓으십시오. “이 때문에 예수님이 내게 계신다.”

Thank You, Jesus, for being near to me right now. I¡¯m grateful for Your faithfulness.

Life takes on perspective in the light of Christ.

Isaiah 49:13-20

[13] Sing, O heavens! Be joyful, O earth! And break out in singing, O mountains! For the LORD has comforted His people, And will have mercy on His afflicted.
[14] But Zion said, "The LORD has forsaken me, And my Lord has forgotten me."
[15] "Can a woman forget her nursing child, And not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget, Yet I will not forget you.
[16] See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; Your walls are continually before Me.
[17] Your sons shall make haste; Your destroyers and those who laid you waste Shall go away from you.
[18] Lift up your eyes, look around and see; All these gather together and come to you. As I live," says the LORD, "You shall surely clothe yourselves with them all as an ornament, And bind them on you as a bride does.
[19] "For your waste and desolate places, And the land of your destruction, Will even now be too small for the inhabitants; And those who swallowed you up will be far away.
[20] The children you will have, After you have lost the others, Will say again in your ears, 'The place is too small for me; Give me a place where I may dwell.'

예수님, 지금 이 순간 제 곁에 계셔서 감사합니다. 주님의 신실하심에 감사를 드립니다.

그리스도의 빛 안에서 삶을 멀리 내다볼 수 있다.

이사야 49:13-20

[13] 하늘이여 노래하라 땅이여 기뻐하라 산들이여 즐거이 노래하라 여호와께서 그의 백성을 위로하셨은즉 그의 고난 당한 자를 긍휼히 여기실 것임이라
[14] 오직 시온이 이르기를 여호와께서 나를 버리시며 주께서 나를 잊으셨다 하였거니와
[15] 여인이 어찌 그 젖 먹는 자식을 잊겠으며 자기 태에서 난 아들을 긍휼히 여기지 않겠느냐 그들은 혹시 잊을지라도 나는 너를 잊지 아니할 것이라
[16] 내가 너를 내 손바닥에 새겼고 너의 성벽이 항상 내 앞에 있나니
[17] 네 자녀들은 빨리 걸으며 너를 헐며 너를 황폐하게 하던 자들은 너를 떠나가리라
[18] 네 눈을 들어 사방을 보라 그들이 다 모여 네게로 오느니라 나 여호와가 이르노라 내가 나의 삶으로 맹세하노니 네가 반드시 그 모든 무리를 장식처럼 몸에 차며 그것을 띠기를 신부처럼 할 것이라
[19] 이는 네 황폐하고 적막한 곳들과 네 파멸을 당하였던 땅이 이제는 주민이 많아 좁게 될 것이며 너를 삼켰던 자들이 멀리 떠날 것이니라
[20] 자식을 잃었을 때에 낳은 자녀가 후일에 네 귀에 말하기를 이곳이 내게 좁으니 넓혀서 내가 거주하게 하라 하리니
