Treasures in Heaven		하늘에 쌓는 보화
[ Matthew 6:19 - 6:24 ] - hymn 213 Lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. - Matthew 6:20 NKJV Poorly installed electric wiring caused a fire that burned down our newly built home. The flames leveled our house within an hour, leaving nothing but rubble. Another time, we returned home from church one Sunday to fi-nd our house had been broken into and some of our possessions stolen. In our imperfect world, loss of material wealth is all too common—vehicles are stolen or crashed, ships sink, buildings crumble, homes are flooded, and personal belongings are stolen. This makes Jesus¡¯ admonition not to put our trust in earthly wealth very meaningful(Matt.6:19). Jesus told a story of a man who accumulated abundant treasures and decided to store up everything for himself (Luke 12:16-21). ¡°Take life easy,¡± the man told himself; ¡°eat, drink and be merry¡±(v.19). But that night he lost everything, including his life. In conclusion, Jesus said, ¡°This is how it will be with whoever stores up things for themselves but is not rich toward God¡±(v.21). Material wealth is temporary. Nothing lasts forever—except what our God enables us to do for others. Giving of our time and resources to spread the good news, visiting those who are lonely, and helping those in need are just some of the many ways to store up treasure in heaven (Matt.6:20). - Lawrence Darmani		[ 마태복음 6:19 - 6:24 ] - 찬송가 213 장 오직 너희를 위하여 보물을 하늘에 쌓아 두라 거기는 좀이나 동록이 해하지 못하며 도둑이 구멍을 뚫지도 못하고 도둑질도 못하느니라 - 마태복음 6:20 잘못 시공된 전기 배선 때문에 새로 지은 우리 집이 불타 버렸습니다. 불길은 한 시간도 안 돼 집을 완전히 태워버리고 벽돌조각 외에는 아무것도 남기지 않았습니다. 또 한 번은 어느 주일날 교회에서 돌아와 보니, 집에 누군가가 침입하여 재물을 일부 훔쳐간 것을 알게 되었습니다. 우리가 사는 이 불완전한 세상에는 물질적인 재산의 손실이 너무나 흔한 일입니다. 자동차가 도난당하거나 부서지고, 배가 가라앉고, 건물이 무너지며, 주택이 침수되고, 개인 소유물을 도난당합니다. 이러한 일들을 보면 이 세상 재물에 의지하지 말라고 하신 예수님의 경고가 매우 뜻 깊게 다가옵니다(마 6:19). 예수님은 많은 재물을 모아 자신을 위해 모두 쌓아 두기로 작정한 한 남자의 이야기를 들려주셨습니다(눅 12:16-21). 그는 자신에게 “평안히 쉬고 먹고 마시고 즐거워하자”(19절)라고 말했습니다. 그러나 그날 밤 그는 자신의 생명을 포함하여 모든 것을 잃어버렸습니다. 예수님은 말씀하셨습니다. “자기를 위하여 재물을 쌓아 두고 하나님께 대하여 부요하지 못한 자가 이와 같으니라”(21절). 물질적인 풍요는 순간적입니다. 하나님을 통해 우리가 다른 사람들을 위해 할 수 있는 것 외에는 어떤 것도 영원하지 않습니다. 복음을 전하기 위해 시간과 물자를 아낌없이 제공하고, 외로운 사람들을 방문하며, 어려움에 처한 사람들을 돕는 것은 하늘에 보화를 쌓는 많은 방법 중의 일부입니다(마 6:20).

[21] "For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
[22] "The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light.
[23] "But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness!
[24] "No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.

당신은 어떻게 하늘에 보화를 쌓고 있습니까? 당신의 삶의 자리에서 당신은 어떻게 변화되고 성장할 수 있겠습니까?

[24] 한 사람이 두 주인을 섬기지 못할 것이니 혹 이를 미워하고 저를 사랑하거나 혹 이를 중히 여기고 저를 경히 여김이라 너희가 하나님과 재물을 겸하여 섬기지 못하느니라
