[ Psalms 112 ] - hymn 70 Whoever fears the Lord has a secure fortress, and for their children it will be a refuge. - Proverbs 14:26 (NIV) My father was critically injured when he took a bullet in the leg as a second lieutenant leading his men on Hill 609 in North Africa during World War II. Dad was never again 100 percent physically. I was born several years after this, and when I was young I didn¡¯t even know he had been wounded. I found out later when someone told me. Although he felt constant pain in his leg, my dad never complained about it, and he never used it as an excuse for not providing for our family. My parents loved the Savior and raised us to love, trust, and serve Him. Through good times and bad, they simply trusted God, worked hard, and loved us unconditionally. Proverbs 14:26 says that ¡°Whoever fears the Lord has a secure fortress, and for their children it will be a refuge¡±(NIV). My dad did that for our family. No matter what difficulties he faced, he provided a safe place for us spiritually, emotionally, and physically. We parents can provide a safe haven for our families with the help of our perfect heavenly Father, whose love for His children is deep and eternal. - Dave Branon		[ 시편 112 ] - 찬송가 70 장 여호와를 경외하는 자에게는 견고한 의뢰가 있나니 그 자녀들에게 피난처가 있으리라 - 잠언 14:26 우리 아버지는 제2차 세계대전 때 북아프리카의 609고지에서 소위로 그의 병사들을 지휘하던 중 다리에 총격을 받아 심한 부상을 입었습니다. 이후로도 아버지는 완전하게 회복되질 못했습니다. 몇 년 후에 태어난 나는 어렸을 때 아버지가 그런 부상을 입었다는 것을 전혀 눈치 채지 못하다가 나중에 어떤 사람이 이야기를 해주어 알게 되었습니다. 아버지는 다리에 끊임없이 통증을 느꼈지만, 그것에 대해 절대로 내색하지 않았습니다. 그리고 그것을 핑계로 가족을 부양하는 일도 결코 소홀하지 않았습니다. 부모님은 주님을 사랑했고, 우리들로 하여금 주님을 사랑하고 신뢰하며 섬기도록 키웠습니다. 좋은 일이건 나쁜 일이건 단순히 하나님을 신뢰하며 열심히 일했고 우리를 조건 없이 사랑했습니다. 잠언 14장 26절은 “여호와를 경외하는 자에게는 견고한 의뢰가 있나니 그 자녀들에게 피난처가 있으리라”라고 말합니다. 아버지는 우리를 위해 그렇게 했습니다. 어떤 힘든 일을 만나도 아버지는 영적, 정신적, 육체적으로 우리에게 안전한 곳을 제공해주었습니다. 그분의 자녀인 우리를 향해 깊고 영원한 사랑을 주시는 완전하신 하나님 아버지의 도움에 힘입어 부모 된 우리도 우리 가족에게 안전한 피난처를 제공해줄 수 있습니다.

Psalm 112

[1] Praise the LORD! Blessed is the man who fears the LORD, Who delights greatly in His commandments.
[2] His descendants will be mighty on earth; The generation of the upright will be blessed.
[3] Wealth and riches will be in his house, And his righteousness endures forever.
[4] Unto the upright there arises light in the darkness; He is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.
[5] A good man deals graciously and lends; He will guide his affairs with discretion.
[6] Surely he will never be shaken; The righteous will be in everlasting remembrance.
[7] He will not be afraid of evil tidings; His heart is steadfast, trusting in the LORD.
[8] His heart is established; He will not be afraid, Until he sees his desire upon his enemies.
[9] He has dispersed abroad, He has given to the poor; His righteousness endures forever; His horn will be exalted with honor.
[10] The wicked will see it and be grieved; He will gnash his teeth and melt away; The desire of the wicked shall perish.

[4] 정직한 자들에게는 흑암 중에 빛이 일어나나니 그는 자비롭고 긍휼이 많으며 의로운 이로다
[5] 은혜를 베풀며 꾸어 주는 자는 잘 되나니 그 일을 정의로 행하리로다
[6] 그는 영원히 흔들리지 아니함이여 의인은 영원히 기억되리로다
[7] 그는 흉한 소문을 두려워하지 아니함이여 여호와를 의뢰하고 그의 마음을 굳게 정하였도다
[8] 그의 마음이 견고하여 두려워하지 아니할 것이라 그의 대적들이 받는 보응을 마침내 보리로다
[9] 그가 재물을 흩어 빈궁한 자들에게 주었으니 그의 의가 영구히 있고 그의 뿔이 영광 중에 들리리로다
[10] 악인은 이를 보고 한탄하여 이를 갈면서 소멸되리니 악인들의 욕망은 사라지리로다
