[ Romans 15:1 - 15:7 ] - hymn 220 Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God. - Romans 15:7 niv In the late 1800s and early 1900s, a familiar sight greeted ships as they pulled into the port of Savannah, Georgia. That sight was Florence Martus, ¡°The Waving Girl.¡± For 44 years, Florence greeted the great ships from around the world, waving a handkerchief by day or a lantern by night. Today, a statue of Florence and her faithful dog stands in Savannah¡¯s Morrell Park, permanently welcoming incoming vessels. There is something in a warm welcome that speaks of acceptance. In Romans 15:7, Paul urged his readers: ¡°Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you¡±(NIV). Paul had in view our treatment of each other as followers of Christ, for in verses 5-6 he challenged us to live in harmony with one another. The key is to have ¡°the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had, so that with one mind and one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ¡±(NIV). The closer Christians get to Christ, the closer they get to one another.

Romans 15:1-7

[1] We then who are strong ought to bear with the scruples of the weak, and not to please ourselves.
[2] Let each of us please his neighbor for his good, leading to edification.
[3] For even Christ did not please Himself; but as it is written, "The reproaches of those who reproached You fell on Me."
[4] For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope.
[5] Now may the God of patience and comfort grant you to be like-minded toward one another, according to Christ Jesus,
[6] that you may with one mind and one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
[7] Therefore receive one another, just as Christ also received us, to the glory of God.

하나님 아버지, 그리스도 안에서 형제 자매된 자들을 위하는 마음을 제게 주소서. 함께 서로를 위하는 마음을 저희에게 주셔서 저희가 하나님을 사랑하고, 저희가 하는 모든 일에서 하나님을 영화롭게 하소서.

예수님께 가까이 다가갈수록 서로에게 더 가까이 다가갈 수 있다.

로마서 15:1-7

[1] 믿음이 강한 우리는 마땅히 믿음이 약한 자의 약점을 담당하고 자기를 기쁘게 하지 아니할 것이라
[2] 우리 각 사람이 이웃을 기쁘게 하되 선을 이루고 덕을 세우도록 할지니라
[3] 그리스도께서도 자기를 기쁘게 하지 아니하셨나니 기록된 바 주를 비방하는 자들의 비방이 내게 미쳤나이다 함과 같으니라
[4] 무엇이든지 전에 기록된 바는 우리의 교훈을 위하여 기록된 것이니 우리로 하여금 인내로 또는 성경의 위로로 소망을 가지게 함이니라
[5] 이제 인내와 위로의 하나님이 너희로 그리스도 예수를 본받아 서로 뜻이 같게 하여 주사
[6] 한마음과 한 입으로 하나님 곧 우리 주 예수 그리스도의 아버지께 영광을 돌리게 하려 하노라
[7] 그러므로 그리스도께서 우리를 받아 하나님께 영광을 돌리심과 같이 너희도 서로 받으라
