New Start For A Broken Heart		상한 심령을 새롭게
[ Isaiah 61:1 - 61:3 ] - hymn 300 He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted. — Isaiah 61:1 The Museum of Broken Relationships in Zagreb, Croatia, is filled with anonymously donated remnants of love gone wrong. There is an axe that a jilted lover used to destroy the furniture of an offending partner. Stuffed animals, love letters framed in broken glass, and wedding dresses all speak volumes of heartache. While some visitors to the museum leave in tears over their own loss, some couples depart with hugs and a promise not to fail each other. The Old Testament prophet Isaiah wrote, ¡°The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me, because the Lord has anointed Me to preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted¡±(Isa.61:1). When Jesus read from Isaiah 61 at the synagogue in Nazareth, He said, ¡°Today this Scripture is fulfilled in your hearing¡±(Luke 4:21). Extending far beyond help for an emotional wound, Isaiah¡¯s words speak of a changed heart and a renewed spirit that come by receiving God¡¯s gift of ¡°beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness¡±(Isa.61:3). All of us have experienced regret and broken promises in our lives. Whatever has happened, the Lord invites us to find healing, hope, and new life in Him. — David McCasland		[ 이사야 61:1 - 61:3 ] - 찬송가 300 장 나를 보내사 마음이 상한 자를 고치며 — 이사야 61:1 크로아티아 자그레브에 있는 ‘깨어진 관계 박물관’에는 익명으로 기부된 잘못 끝나버린 사랑의 잔해물들이 가득 차 있습니다. 버림받은 연인이 상대방의 가구를 부숴버리는 데 사용했던 도끼도 있습니다. 봉제 인형들, 깨진 유리 액자에 든 사랑의 편지들, 그리고 웨딩드레스들이 모두 아픔의 크기를 잘 말해주고 있습니다. 어떤 방문객들은 그들 자신의 이별 때문에 눈물을 흘리며 떠나는가 하면, 어떤 커플들은 서로 실패하지 말자는 약속을 하고 서로를 안은 채 떠납니다. 구약의 이사야 선지자는 “주 여호와의 영이 내게 내리셨으니 이는 여호와께서 내게 기름을 부으사 가난한 자에게 아름다운 소식을 전하게 하려 하심이라 나를 보내사 마음이 상한 자를 고치며”(사 61:1)라고 기록하였습니다. 예수님이 나사렛에 있는 회당에서 이사야 61장의 말씀을 읽으셨을 때 “이 글이 오늘 너희 귀에 응하였느니라”(눅 4:21)라고 말씀하셨습니다. 이사야의 말씀은 마음의 상처를 돕는 것을 훨씬 넘어서서, “슬퍼하는 자에게 화관을 주어 그 재를 대신하며 기쁨의 기름으로 그 슬픔을 대신하며 찬송의 옷으로 그 근심을 대신하시는”(사 61:3) 하나님의 선물을 받아들임으로써 마음이 변화되고 심령이 새로워지는 것에 대해 말하고 있습니다. 우리는 모두 삶에서 후회와 지켜지지 않은 약속들을 경험해보았습니다. 하지만 무슨 일이 있었든, 주님은 우리가 주님 안에서 치유와 희망, 그리고 새 생명을 찾을 수 있도록 우리를 초대하십니다.

Lord, You are the promise-keeping God who has said He will make all things new. Today we give You our ashes in exchange for Your beauty, our mourning for the joy of finding comfort in You. Thank You!

God can transform tragedies into triumphs.

Isaiah 61:1-3

[1] "The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me, Because the LORD has anointed Me To preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives, And the opening of the prison to those who are bound;
[2] To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, And the day of vengeance of our God; To comfort all who mourn,
[3] To console those who mourn in Zion, To give them beauty for ashes, The oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; That they may be called trees of righteousness, The planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified."

주님, 주님은 만물을 새롭게 하겠다고 말씀하신 언약을 지키시는
하나님이십니다. 오늘 우리가 뒤집어쓴 재를 주님의 아름다움으로,
우리의 슬픔을 주님 안의 위로를 찾는 기쁨으로 바꾸고자
주님께 내어놓습니다. 감사합니다!

하나님은 비극을 승리로 변화시키실 수 있다.

이사야 61:1-3

[1] 주 여호와의 영이 내게 내리셨으니 이는 여호와께서 내게 기름을 부으사 가난한 자에게 아름다운 소식을 전하게 하려 하심이라 나를 보내사 마음이 상한 자를 고치며 포로된 자에게 자유를, 갇힌 자에게 놓임을 선포하며
[2] 여호와의 은혜의 해와 우리 하나님의 보복의 날을 선포하여 모든 슬픈 자를 위로하되
[3] 무릇 시온에서 슬퍼하는 자에게 화관을 주어 그 재를 대신하며 기쁨의 기름으로 그 슬픔을 대신하며 찬송의 옷으로 그 근심을 대신하시고 그들이 의의 나무 곧 여호와께서 심으신 그 영광을 나타낼 자라 일컬음을 받게 하려 하심이라
