The Great Healer		위대한 치유자
[ Genesis 2:7 - 2:15 ] - hymn 436 I am the Lord, who heals you. — Exodus 15:26 The doctors I know are smart, hard-working, and compassionate. They have relieved my suffering on many occasions, and I am grateful for their expertise in diagnosing illnesses, prescribing medication, setting broken bones, and stitching up wounds. But this does not mean that I place my faith in physicians rather than in God. For reasons known only to God, He appointed humans to be His partners in the work of caring for creation (Gen.2:15), and doctors are among them. Doctors study medical science and learn how God designed the body. They use this knowledge to help restore us to a healthy condition. But the only reason doctors can do anything to make us better is that God created us with the ability to heal. Surgeons would be useless if incisions didn¡¯t heal. Scientists can learn how God created our bodies to function, and they devise therapies to help restore or cure us, but they are not healers; God is (Ex.15:26). Doctors simply cooperate with God¡¯s original intent and design. So I am grateful for science and doctors, but my praise and thanksgiving go to God, who designed an orderly universe and who created us with minds that can discover how it works. I believe, therefore, that all healing is divine because no healing takes place apart from God. — Julie Ackerman Link		[ 창세기 2:7 - 2:15 ] - 찬송가 436 장 나는 너희를 치료하는 여호와임이라 — 출애굽기 15:26 내가 아는 의사들은 똑똑하고 열심히 일하며 인정이 많습니다. 그들은 여러 번 내 고통을 덜어주었으며, 병을 진단하고 약을 처방하며 부러진 뼈들을 맞추고 상처를 꿰매주는 그들의 전문지식을 나는 고맙게 생각합니다. 하지만 그렇다고 하나님이 아닌 의사들에게 내 믿음을 두는 것은 아닙니다. 하나님만이 아시는 이유로 하나님은 그분이 창조하신 것들을 돌보는 일에 인간들을 동역자로 지명하셨고(창 2:15), 의사도 그 중의 하나입니다. 의사들은 의학을 공부하고 하나님이 사람의 몸을 어떻게 만드셨는지를 배웁니다. 그들은 우리를 건강한 상태로 회복시키기 위해 이 지식을 사용합니다. 그러나 의사들이 우리를 낫게 할 수 있는 유일한 이유는 하나님이 우리의 몸이 회복될 수 있도록 지으셨기 때문입니다. 만약 절개부위가 아물지 않는다면 외과 의사들은 아무 소용이 없을 것입니다. 과학자들은 하나님이 어떻게 우리의 몸이 기능을 발휘하도록 지으셨는지를 알아내어 우리 몸이 회복되고 치료될 수 있는 치료방법을 고안해내지만, 그들이 치유자는 아닙니다. 치유는 하나님이 하십니다(출 15:26). 의사들은 하나님의 원래 의도와 설계에 단지 협력할 뿐입니다. 그래서 나는 과학과 의사들을 고마워합니다. 하지만 나의 찬양과 감사는 질서정연한 우주를 설계하시고 그것이 어떻게 작동하는지를 발견할 수 있는 마음을 우리 안에 창조하신 하나님께로 향합니다. 그 어떤 치유도 하나님을 떠나서는 이루어질 수 없기에 나는 모든 치유가 신성한 것이라고 믿습니다.

Father God, You are the Great Physician, and I ask for healing, whether mind, body, spirit, or in all of these. I believe You will give what is best. Thank You for Your goodness, kindness, and love in all things.

When you think of all that¡¯s good, give thanks to God.

Genesis 2:7-15

[7] And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.
[8] The LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden, and there He put the man whom He had formed.
[9] And out of the ground the LORD God made every tree grow that is pleasant to the sight and good for food. The tree of life was also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
[10] Now a river went out of Eden to water the garden, and from there it parted and became four riverheads.
[11] The name of the first is Pishon; it is the one which skirts the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold.
[12] And the gold of that land is good. Bdellium and the onyx stone are there.
[13] The name of the second river is Gihon; it is the one which goes around the whole land of Cush.
[14] The name of the third river is Hiddekel; it is the one which goes toward the east of Assyria. The fourth river is the Euphrates.
[15] Then the LORD God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to tend and keep it.

하나님 아버지, 당신은 위대한 의사이십니다. 내 마음의 병이나
육신의 병, 영적인 병, 아니 이 모두를 치유해주시기를 간구합니다.
하나님께서 가장 좋은 치유법을 주실 줄 믿습니다. 모든 것 안에
들어있는 하나님의 선하심과 인자하심, 그리고 사랑에 감사드립니다.

모든 좋은 것들을 생각할 때마다 하나님께 감사드려라.

창세기 2:7-15

[7] 여호와 하나님이 땅의 흙으로 사람을 지으시고 생기를 그 코에 불어넣으시니 사람이 생령이 되니라
[8] 여호와 하나님이 동방의 에덴에 동산을 창설하시고 그 지으신 사람을 거기 두시니라
[9] 여호와 하나님이 그 땅에서 보기에 아름답고 먹기에 좋은 나무가 나게 하시니 동산 가운데에는 생명 나무와 선악을 알게 하는 나무도 있더라
[10] 강이 에덴에서 흘러 나와 동산을 적시고 거기서부터 갈라져 네 근원이 되었으니
[11] 첫째의 이름은 비손이라 금이 있는 하윌라 온 땅을 둘렀으며
[12] 그 땅의 금은 순금이요 그 곳에는 베델리엄과 호마노도 있으며
[13] 둘째 강의 이름은 기혼이라 구스 온 땅을 둘렀고
[14] 셋째 강의 이름은 힛데겔이라 앗수르 동쪽으로 흘렀으며 넷째 강은 유브라데더라
[15] 여호와 하나님이 그 사람을 이끌어 에덴 동산에 두어 그것을 경작하며 지키게 하시고
