Why Me?		왜 나입니까?
[ Mark 14:10 - 14:21 ] - hymn 453 God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. — Romans 5:8 British pastor Joseph Parker was asked, ¡°Why did Jesus choose Judas to be one of His disciples?¡±He thought deeply about the question for a while but could not come up with an answer. He said that he kept running into an even more baffling question: ¡°Why did He choose me?¡± That¡¯s a question that has been asked throughout the centuries. When people become painfully aware of their sin and are overcome with guilt, they cry out to Jesus for mercy. In joyous wonder they experience the truth that God loves them, that Jesus died for them, and that they are forgiven of all their sins. It¡¯s incomprehensible! I too have asked, ¡°Why me?¡±I know that the dark and sinful deeds of my life were motivated by a heart even darker, and yet God loved me! (Rom.5:8). I was undeserving, wretched, and helpless, yet He opened His arms and His heart to me. I could almost hear Him whisper, ¡°I love you even more than you loved your sin.¡± It¡¯s true! I cherished my sin. I protected it. I denied its wrongdoing. Yet God loved me enough to forgive me and set me free. ¡°Why me?¡±It¡¯s beyond my understanding. Yet I know He loves me—and He loves you too! — Dave Egner		[ 마가복음 14:10 - 14:21 ] - 찬송가 453 장 우리가 아직 죄인 되었을 때에 그리스도께서 우리를 위하여 죽으심으로 하나님께서 우리에 대한 자기의 사랑을 확증하셨느니라 — 로마서 5:8 영국인 목사 조셉 파커는 “왜 예수님이 가룟 유다를 제자로 선택하셨죠?”라는 질문을 받고, 잠시 동안 그 질문에 대하여 깊이 생각했지만 대답을 얻을 수 없었습니다. 그는 계속 생각하다보니 “왜 예수님이 나를 선택하셨을까?”라는 더욱 어려운 질문으로 이어졌다고 말했습니다. 그것은 오랜 세월에 걸쳐서 제기되었던 질문입니다. 사람들이 자신의 죄의 심각성을 고통스럽게 인식하고 죄책감에 압도당할 때 그들은 예수님께 자비를 부르짖습니다. 그때 그들은 기쁨에 찬 경이감 속에 하나님이 그들을 사랑하시고, 예수님이 그들을 위해서 돌아가셨고, 그들의 모든 죄가 용서되었다는 진리를 경험합니다. 그것은 정말 이해할 수 없는 일입니다! 나도 “왜 나입니까?”라는 질문을 했었습니다. 나는 내 삶의 어둡고 죄악된 행위들이 나의 더 어두운 마음에서 비롯되었다는 것을 알지만, 그럼에도 하나님이 나를 사랑하셨습니다(롬 5:8). 나는 자격도 없고 비참하고 어떻게 할 수도 없는 상황이었지만, 하나님이 나에게 그분의 팔과 마음을 열어주셨습니다. 나는 “네가 너의 죄를 사랑한 것보다 내가 너를 더 사랑한다.”라고 하시는 하나님의 속삭임을 들을 수 있었습니다. 그것은 사실입니다! 나는 내 죄를 사랑했고 보호했으며, 그것이 잘못되었다는 것을 부인했습니다. 그럼에도 하나님은 넘치도록 사랑하셔서 나를 용서하시고 나를 자유롭게 해주셨습니다. “왜 나입니까?”이것은 내가 이해할 수 없는 질문입니다. 그럼에도 나는 주님이 나를 사랑하시고 당신도 사랑하신다는 것을 알고 있습니다!

How wonderful is Your grace, Jesus!
It¡¯s greater than all my sin.
You¡¯ve taken away my burdens and
set my spirit free. Thank You.

God loves us not because of who we are, but because of who He is.

Mark 14:10-21

[10] Then Judas Iscariot, one of the twelve, went to the chief priests to betray Him to them.
[11] And when they heard it, they were glad, and promised to give him money. So he sought how he might conveniently betray Him.
[12] Now on the first day of Unleavened Bread, when they killed the Passover lamb, His disciples said to Him, "Where do You want us to go and prepare, that You may eat the Passover?"
[13] And He sent out two of His disciples and said to them, "Go into the city, and a man will meet you carrying a pitcher of water; follow him.
[14] "Wherever he goes in, say to the master of the house, 'The Teacher says, "Where is the guest room in which I may eat the Passover with My disciples?"'
[15] "Then he will show you a large upper room, furnished and prepared; there make ready for us."
[16] So His disciples went out, and came into the city, and found it just as He had said to them; and they prepared the Passover.
[17] In the evening He came with the twelve.
[18] Now as they sat and ate, Jesus said, "Assuredly, I say to you, one of you who eats with Me will betray Me."
[19] And they began to be sorrowful, and to say to Him one by one, "Is it I?" And another said, "Is it I?"
[20] He answered and said to them, "It is one of the twelve, who dips with Me in the dish.
[21] "The Son of Man indeed goes just as it is written of Him, but woe to that man by whom the Son of Man is betrayed! It would have been good for that man if he had never been born."

예수님, 주님의 은혜가 얼마나 경이로운지요!
그것은 나의 모든 죄보다도 더 큽니다.
주님은 나의 무거운 짐들을 벗겨주시고
나의 영혼을 자유롭게 해주셨습니다. 감사합니다.

하나님은 우리가 어떤 사람이기 때문이 사랑하시는 것이 아니라,
그분이 하나님이시기 때문에 우리를 사랑하신다.

마가복음 14:10-21

[10] 열둘 중의 하나인 가룟 유다가 예수를 넘겨 주려고 대제사장들에게 가매
[11] 그들이 듣고 기뻐하여 돈을 주기로 약속하니 유다가 예수를 어떻게 넘겨 줄까 하고 그 기회를 찾더라
[12] 무교절의 첫날 곧 유월절 양 잡는 날에 제자들이 예수께 여짜오되 우리가 어디로 가서 선생님께서 유월절 음식을 잡수시게 준비하기를 원하시나이까 하매
[13] 예수께서 제자 중의 둘을 보내시며 이르시되 성내로 들어가라 그리하면 물 한 동이를 가지고 가는 사람을 만나리니 그를 따라가서
[14] 어디든지 그가 들어가는 그 집 주인에게 이르되 선생님의 말씀이 내가 내 제자들과 함께 유월절 음식을 먹을 나의 객실이 어디 있느냐 하시더라 하라
[15] 그리하면 자리를 펴고 준비한 큰 다락방을 보이리니 거기서 우리를 위하여 준비하라 하시니
[16] 제자들이 나가 성내로 들어가서 예수께서 하시던 말씀대로 만나 유월절 음식을 준비하니라
[17] 저물매 그 열둘을 데리시고 가서
[18] 다 앉아 먹을 때에 예수께서 이르시되 내가 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 너희 중의 한 사람 곧 나와 함께 먹는 자가 나를 팔리라 하신대
[19] 그들이 근심하며 하나씩 하나씩 나는 아니지요 하고 말하기 시작하니
[20] 그들에게 이르시되 열둘 중의 하나 곧 나와 함께 그릇에 손을 넣는 자니라
[21] 인자는 자기에 대하여 기록된 대로 가거니와 인자를 파는 그 사람에게는 화가 있으리로다 그 사람은 차라리 나지 아니하였더라면 자기에게 좋을 뻔하였느니라 하시니라
