A Closing Door		닫히는 문
[ 2 Corinthians 5:18 - 6:2 ] - hymn 491 Now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation. — 2 Corinthians 6:2 Beep, beep, beep, beep. The warning sound and flashing lights alerted commuters that the train door was about to close. Yet a few tardy individuals still made a frenzied scramble across the platform and onto the train. The door closed on one of them. Thankfully, it rebounded and the passenger boarded the train safely. I wondered why people took such risks when the next train would arrive in a mere 4 minutes. There is a far more important door that we must enter before it closes. It is the door of God¡¯s mercy. The apostle Paul tells us, ¡°Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation¡±(2 Cor.6:2). Christ has come, died for our sins, and has risen from the grave. He has opened the way for us to be reconciled to God and has proclaimed for us the day of salvation. Today is that day. But one day the door of mercy will close. To those who received and served Christ, He will say, ¡°Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you¡±(Matt.25:34). But those who don¡¯t know Him will be turned away (v.46). Our response to Jesus Christ determines our destiny. Today Jesus invites, ¡°I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved¡±(John 10:9). — Poh Fang Chia		[ 고린도후서 5:18 - 6:2 ] - 찬송가 491 장 지금은 은혜 받을 만한 때요 보라 지금은 구원의 날이로다 — 고린도후서 6:2 삐, 삐, 삐, 삐. 경고 소리와 함께 불빛이 반짝거리며 통근자들에게 전철 문이 곧 닫힌다고 알려주었습니다. 그러나 몇몇 늦은 사람들이 승강구를 가로질러 전철을 타려고 급하게 달려들었습니다. 그 중의 한 사람이 전철 문에 끼였습니다. 다행히 전철 문이 다시 열려서 그 사람은 전철 안으로 무사히 들어올 수 있었습니다. 다음 열차가 4분 후면 오는데 사람들이 왜 그런 위험을 감수하는지 의아했습니다. 그런데 우리에게는 닫히기 전에 꼭 들어가야만 하는 훨씬 더 중요한 문이 있습니다. 하나님의 자비의 문입니다. 바울사도는 우리에게 “보라 지금은 은혜 받을 만한 때요 보라 지금은 구원의 날이로다”(고후 6:2)라고 말합니다. 그리스도께서 이 세상에 오셔서 우리 죄를 위하여 돌아가시고, 무덤에서 다시 살아나셨습니다. 주님은 우리로 하여금 하나님과 화목할 수 있는 길을 열어주시고, 우리를 위하여 구원의 날을 선포하셨습니다. 오늘이 바로 그날입니다. 그러나 언젠가는 그 자비의 문이 닫힐 것입니다. 예수님을 영접하고 섬기는 사람들에게는 주님이 “내 아버지께 복 받을 자들이여 나아와 창세로부터 너희를 위하여 예비된 나라를 상속받으라”(마 25:34)라고 말씀하실 것이지만, 주님을 알지 못하는 자들은 외면당하게 될 것입니다(46절). 우리가 예수 그리스도께 어떻게 반응하는가 하는 것이 우리의 운명을 결정합니다. 예수님은 오늘도 우리를 초청하고 계십니다. “내가 문이니 누구든지 나로 말미암아 들어가면 구원을 받고 또는 들어가며 나오며 꼴을 얻으리라”(요 10:9).

Today Thy gate is open,
And all who enter in
Shall find a Father¡¯s welcome,
And pardon for their sin. — Allen

There¡¯s no better day than today to enter into God¡¯s family.

2 Corinthians 5:18-6:2

[18] Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation,
[19] that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.
[20] Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ's behalf, be reconciled to God.
[21] For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

[6:1] We then, as workers together with Him also plead with you not to receive the grace of God in vain.
[2] For He says: "In an acceptable time I have heard you, And in the day of salvation I have helped you." Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.

오늘 하늘 문이 열려 있어
들어가는 자는 누구든지
하나님 아버지께 환영 받고
그들의 죄가 용서 받게 된다네

하나님의 가족이 되는 오늘보다 더 좋은 날은 없다.

고린도후서 5:18-6:2

[18] 모든 것이 하나님께로서 났으며 그가 그리스도로 말미암아 우리를 자기와 화목하게 하시고 또 우리에게 화목하게 하는 직분을 주셨으니
[19] 곧 하나님께서 그리스도 안에 계시사 세상을 자기와 화목하게 하시며 그들의 죄를 그들에게 돌리지 아니하시고 화목하게 하는 말씀을 우리에게 부탁하셨느니라
[20] 그러므로 우리가 그리스도를 대신하여 사신이 되어 하나님이 우리를 통하여 너희를 권면하시는 것 같이 그리스도를 대신하여 간청하노니 너희는 하나님과 화목하라
[21] 하나님이 죄를 알지도 못하신 이를 우리를 대신하여 죄로 삼으신 것은 우리로 하여금 그 안에서 하나님의 의가 되게 하려 하심이라

[6:1] 우리가 하나님과 함께 일하는 자로서 너희를 권하노니 하나님의 은혜를 헛되이 받지 말라
[2] 이르시되 내가 은혜 베풀 때에 너에게 듣고 구원의 날에 너를 도왔다 하셨으니 보라 지금은 은혜 받을 만한 때요 보라 지금은 구원의 날이로다
