The Hand Of God		하나님의 손
[ Psalms 63:1 - 63:8 ] - hymn 406 My soul follows close behind You; Your right hand upholds me. — Psalm 63:8 When NASA began using a new kind of space telescope to capture different spectrums of light, researchers were surprised at one of the photos. It shows what looks like fingers, a thumb, and an open palm showered with spectacular colors of blue, purple, green, and gold. Some have called it ¡°The Hand of God.¡± The idea of God reaching out His hand to help us in our time of need is a central theme of Scripture. In Psalm 63 we read: ¡°Because You have been my help, therefore in the shadow of Your wings I will rejoice. My soul follows close behind You; Your right hand upholds me¡± (vv.7-8). The psalmist felt God¡¯s divine help like a hand of support. Some Bible teachers believe that King David wrote this psalm in the wilderness of Judah during the terrible time of his son Absalom¡¯s rebellion. Absalom had conspired to dethrone his father, and David fled to the wilderness (2 Sam.15–16). Even during this difficult time, God was present and David trusted in Him. He said, ¡°Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise You¡±(Ps.63:3). Life can be painful at times, yet God offers His comforting hand in the midst of it. We are not beyond His reach. — Dennis Fisher		[ 시편 63:1 - 63:8 ] - 찬송가 406 장 나의 영혼이 주를 가까이 따르니 주의 오른손이 나를 붙드시거니와 — 시편 63:8 미국 항공우주국에서 신종 우주망원경을 사용하여 여러 가지 다른 파장역의 빛들을 포착하기 시작했을 때, 연구자들이 그 중의 사진 한 장을 보고 깜짝 놀랐습니다. 파란색과 자주색, 초록색, 그리고 금색 등의 화려한 색깔들을 띄고 있는 그 사진은 마치 펼쳐진 손바닥에 엄지손가락과 다른 손가락들이 붙어있는 것처럼 보였습니다. 어떤 사람들은 그것을 “하나님의 손”이라고 불렀습니다. 우리의 삶이 힘들 때 하나님이 손을 뻗쳐 우리를 도와주신다는 생각은 성경이 말하고 있는 중심 주제입니다. 시편 63편은 “주는 나의 도움이 되셨음이라 내가 주의 날개 그늘에서 즐겁게 부르리이다 나의 영혼이 주를 가까이 따르니 주의 오른손이 나를 붙드시거니와”(7-8절)라고 말합니다. 시편기자는 하나님의 신성한 도움을 마치 돕는 손 같이 느꼈습니다. 어떤 성경교사들은 다윗 왕이 그의 아들 압살롬이 반란을 일으켜 혹독한 시간을 보내고 있을 때 유다 광야에서 이 시편을 썼다고 믿습니다. 압살롬이 자기 아버지를 폐위시키려 음모를 꾸미자 다윗은 광야로 피신했습니다(삼하 15-16장). 그렇게 어려운 시기에도 하나님은 그와 함께하셨고, 다윗도 하나님을 신뢰했습니다. 그는 “주의 인자하심이 생명보다 나으므로 내 입술이 주를 찬양할 것이라”(시 63:3)라고 말했습니다. 삶이 때로는 고통스러울 수도 있습니다. 하지만 그런 가운데서도 하나님은 우리에게 격려의 손길을 베풀어주십니다. 우리는 하나님의 손길이 닿지 않는 곳에 있는 것이 아닙니다.

Beneath His watchful eye
His saints securely dwell;
That hand which bears all nature up
Shall guard His children well. — Doddridge

God bears the world¡¯s weight on His shoulder, yet holds His children in the palm of His hand.

Psalm 63:1-8

[1] A Psalm of David when he was in the wilderness of Judah. O God, You are my God; Early will I seek You; My soul thirsts for You; My flesh longs for You In a dry and thirsty land Where there is no water.
[2] So I have looked for You in the sanctuary, To see Your power and Your glory.
[3] Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, My lips shall praise You.
[4] Thus I will bless You while I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name.
[5] My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness, And my mouth shall praise You with joyful lips.
[6] When I remember You on my bed, I meditate on You in the night watches.
[7] Because You have been my help, Therefore in the shadow of Your wings I will rejoice.
[8] My soul follows close behind You; Your right hand upholds me.

하나님이 지켜보시는 눈길 아래
모든 성도들 안전히 거하네
온 자연을 지탱하시는 그 손길이
그분의 자녀들을 안전히 지켜주시리

하나님은 온 세상의 짐을 어깨에 지시고,
자기 자녀들을 그분의 손 안에 붙들어 주신다.

시편 63:1-8

[1] [다윗의 시, 유다 광야에 있을 때에] 하나님이여 주는 나의 하나님이시라 내가 간절히 주를 찾되 물이 없어 마르고 황폐한 땅에서 내 영혼이 주를 갈망하며 내 육체가 주를 앙모하나이다
[2] 내가 주의 권능과 영광을 보기 위하여 이와 같이 성소에서 주를 바라보았나이다
[3] 주의 인자하심이 생명보다 나으므로 내 입술이 주를 찬양할 것이라
[4] 이러므로 나의 평생에 주를 송축하며 주의 이름으로 말미암아 나의 손을 들리이다
[5] 골수와 기름진 것을 먹음과 같이 나의 영혼이 만족할 것이라 나의 입이 기쁜 입술로 주를 찬송하되
[6] 내가 나의 침상에서 주를 기억하며 새벽에 주의 말씀을 작은 소리로 읊조릴 때에 하오리니
[7] 주는 나의 도움이 되셨음이라 내가 주의 날개 그늘에서 즐겁게 부르리이다
[8] 나의 영혼이 주를 가까이 따르니 주의 오른손이 나를 붙드시거니와
