Kindness Gone Viral		널리 퍼지는 친절
[ Mark 10:13 - 10:16 ] - hymn 419 Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God. — Mark 10:14 News of a simple act of kindness on a New York subway has gone around the world. A young man, head covered by a hooded sweatshirt, fell asleep on the shoulder of an older passenger. When someone else offered to wake the young rider, the older man quietly said, ¡°He must have had a long day. Let him sleep. We¡¯ve all been there.¡± Then he let the tired fellow rider sleep on his shoulder for the better part of the next hour, until the older man gently eased away to get up for his stop. In the meantime, another passenger snapped a photograph and posted it on social media, and it went viral. The man¡¯s kindness seems to resonate with what we all long for—the kindness that reflects the heart of God. We see this gentleness in Jesus when His friends tried to protect Him from the noise and bother of little children. Instead, Jesus insisted on taking the little ones in His arms and blessing them (Mark 10:16). In the process, He invited all of us to trust Him like a little child (vv.13-16). Jesus lets us know that all of us are safe in His presence. Whether awake or asleep, we can lean on Him. When we¡¯re exhausted, He provides a safe place for us to rest. — Mart DeHaan		[ 마가복음 10:13 - 10:16 ] - 찬송가 419 장 어린아이들이 내게 오는 것을 용납하고 금하지 말라 하나님의 나라가 이런 자의 것이니라 — 마가복음 10:14 뉴욕의 지하철에서 있었던 한 작은 친절한 행동에 대한 소식이 전 세계에 알려졌습니다. 후드 달린 운동복으로 머리를 가린 한 젊은 남자가 나이든 승객의 어깨에 기대어 잠이 들었습니다. 누군가가 그 젊은 승객을 깨우려하자 이 노인이 조용히 말했습니다. “이 사람에게 긴 하루였나 봅니다. 그냥 잠자게 두세요. 우리 모두 이런 경험을 했었잖아요.”노인은 거의 한 시간을 그 피곤한 승객이 자신의 어깨에 기대어 잠자게 하고는, 자신이 내려야 할 곳에 이르러서 조심스럽게 몸을 빼내어 일어났습니다. 이 와중에 한 다른 승객이 이 장면을 사진으로 찍어 소셜 미디어에 게시하자, 그것은 순식간에 퍼져나갔습니다. 그 사람의 친절은 우리 모두가 갈망하는 것, 즉 하나님의 마음을 닮은 친절을 잘 반향해주는 것 같습니다. 이런 친절은 예수님의 친구들이 어린아이들의 소음과 방해로부터 예수님을 보호하려 했을 때 보여주신 예수님의 반응에서도 나타납니다. 예수님은 오히려 어린아이들을 그분의 품에 안고 축복해주셨습니다(막 10:16). 아울러 우리도 모두 어린아이처럼 예수님을 신뢰하기를 원하셨습니다(13-16절). 예수님은 우리 모두가 그분의 임재 안에서 안전하다는 것을 알려주십니다. 깨어 있든 잠들어 있든 우리는 주님께 기댈 수 있습니다. 우리가 지쳐있을 때 주님은 우리가 쉴 수 있는 안전한 장소를 제공해주십니다.

Under His wings, I am safely abiding,
Though the night deepens and tempests are wild;
Still I can trust Him—I know He will keep me,
He has redeemed me and I am His child. — Cushing

God is a safe resting place.

Mark 10:13-16

[13] Then they brought little children to Him, that He might touch them; but the disciples rebuked those who brought them.
[14] But when Jesus saw it, He was greatly displeased and said to them, "Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God.
[15] "Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it."
[16] And He took them up in His arms, put His hands on them, and blessed them.

주 날개 밑 내가 편안히 쉬네
밤 깊고 비바람 불어쳐도
아버지께서 날 지키시리니
거기서 편안히 쉬리로다

하나님은 안전한 휴식처가 되신다.

마가복음 10:13-16

[13] 사람들이 예수께서 만져 주심을 바라고 어린 아이들을 데리고 오매 제자들이 꾸짖거늘
[14] 예수께서 보시고 노하시어 이르시되 어린 아이들이 내게 오는 것을 용납하고 금하지 말라 하나님의 나라가 이런 자의 것이니라
[15] 내가 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 누구든지 하나님의 나라를 어린 아이와 같이 받들지 않는 자는 결단코 그 곳에 들어가지 못하리라 하시고
[16] 그 어린 아이들을 안고 그들 위에 안수하시고 축복하시니라
