The Beautiful Bride		아름다운 신부
[ Revelation 19:4 - 19:9 ] - hymn 339 The marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready. — Revelation 19:7 I have officiated at a lot of weddings. Often planned according to the dreams of the bride, each of the weddings has been unique. But one thing is the same: adorned in their wedding dresses with hair beautifully done and faces aglow, brides steal the show. I find it intriguing that God describes us as His bride. Speaking of the church, He says, ¡°The marriage of the Lamb has come, and his Bride has made herself ready¡±(Rev.19:7 esv). This is a great thought for those of us who have become discouraged about the condition of the church. I grew up as a pastor¡¯s kid, pastored three churches, and have preached in churches all over the world. I¡¯ve counseled both pastors and parishioners about deep and troubling problems in the church. And though the church often seems unlovable, my love for the church has not changed. But my reason for loving the church has changed. I now love it most of all for whose it is. The church belongs to Christ; it is the bride of Christ. Since the church is precious to Him, it is precious to me as well. His love for His bride, as flawed as we may be, is nothing less than extraordinary! — Joe Stowell		[ 요한계시록 19:4 - 19:9 ] - 찬송가 339 장 어린 양의 혼인 기약이 이르렀고 그의 아내가 자신을 준비하였으므로 — 요한계시록 19:7 나는 결혼 주례를 많이 했습니다. 대부분 신부가 꿈꾸는 대로 계획된 결혼식은 하나하나가 독특합니다. 하지만 한 가지는 언제나 같습니다. 웨딩드레스를 우아하게 입고 아름다운 머리를 꾸민, 빛나는 얼굴의 신부가 결혼식의 꽃이라는 것입니다. 하나님이 우리를 주님의 신부로 묘사하는 것이 흥미롭습니다. 주님은 교회에 대해 말씀하시면서, “어린 양의 혼인 기약이 이르렀고 그의 아내가 자신을 준비하였으므로”(계 19:7)라고 하십니다. 이것은 교회의 모습에 실망해온 우리에게 아주 중요한 생각입니다. 나는 목사의 아들로 자랐으며, 세 교회에서 목회를 했고, 온 세계의 교회에서 설교를 했습니다. 그리고 교회 내의 깊이 우려되는 문제점들에 대해 목사들이나 성도들과 상담을 해왔습니다. 사랑하기 어려워 보이는 교회도 자주 있지만, 교회를 향한 나의 사랑은 변함이 없습니다. 하지만 교회를 사랑하는 나의 이유는 변했습니다. 이제는 그 무엇보다도 누가 교회의 주인인가 하는 이유 때문에 교회를 사랑합니다. 교회는 그리스도께 속해 있으며, 그리스도의 신부입니다. 교회가 예수님께 소중한 것이기에 내게도 소중합니다. 우리가 아무리 결함이 있어도, 주님의 신부에 대한 주님의 사랑은 아주 극진합니다!

Lord, we look forward to the day when we will be
robed in the fine linens of purity and join You at the
marriage supper of the Lamb. Until then, remind us
to love Your bride and to live beautifully for You.

Since Christ loves His bride, the church, so should we.

Revelation 19:4-9

[4] And the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God who sat on the throne, saying, "Amen! Alleluia!"
[5] Then a voice came from the throne, saying, "Praise our God, all you His servants and those who fear Him, both small and great!"
[6] And I heard, as it were, the voice of a great multitude, as the sound of many waters and as the sound of mighty thunderings, saying, "Alleluia! For the Lord God Omnipotent reigns!
[7] "Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready."
[8] And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.
[9] Then he said to me, "Write: 'Blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb!'" And he said to me, "These are the true sayings of God."

주님, 우리는 정결한 세마포의 옷을 입고 어린 양의 혼인 잔치에
주님과 참석하는 날을 고대합니다.
그날이 올 때까지 주님의 신부를 사랑하고
주님을 위해 아름답게 살게 하여 주소서.

그리스도가 신부된 교회를 사랑하기에
우리도 교회를 사랑해야 한다.

요한계시록 19:4-9

[4] 또 이십사 장로와 네 생물이 엎드려 보좌에 앉으신 하나님께 경배하여 이르되 아멘 할렐루야 하니
[5] 보좌에서 음성이 나서 이르시되 하나님의 종들 곧 그를 경외하는 너희들아 작은 자나 큰 자나 다 우리 하나님께 찬송하라 하더라
[6] 또 내가 들으니 허다한 무리의 음성과도 같고 많은 물 소리와도 같고 큰 우렛소리와도 같은 소리로 이르되 할렐루야 주 우리 하나님 곧 전능하신 이가 통치하시도다
[7] 우리가 즐거워하고 크게 기뻐하며 그에게 영광을 돌리세 어린 양의 혼인 기약이 이르렀고 그의 아내가 자신을 준비하였으므로
[8] 그에게 빛나고 깨끗한 세마포 옷을 입도록 허락하셨으니 이 세마포 옷은 성도들의 옳은 행실이로다 하더라
[9] 천사가 내게 말하기를 기록하라 어린 양의 혼인 잔치에 청함을 받은 자들은 복이 있도다 하고 또 내게 말하되 이것은 하나님의 참되신 말씀이라 하기로
