He Leads Me		나를 인도하시는 주님
[ Psalms 23:1 - 23:6 ] - hymn 570 He leads me beside the still waters. — Psalm 23:2 In Istanbul, Turkey, in 2005, one sheep jumped off a cliff and then nearly 1,500 others followed! In the end, about one-third of them died. Not knowing which way to go, sheep mindlessly follow other members of the flock. No better word picture than sheep can be found to illustrate our need for a trustworthy leader. We are all, Isaiah wrote, like sheep (Isa.53:6). We tend to go our own way, yet we desperately need the sure direction of a shepherd. Psalm 23 describes the trustworthiness of our Good Shepherd. He cares for us (v.1); He provides for our physical needs (v.2); He shows us how to live holy lives (v.3); He restores us, comforts us, heals us, and bountifully blesses us (vv.3-5); and He will not abandon us (v.6). What a comfort to know that God gently but firmly leads us! He does so through the urging of the Holy Spirit, the reading of His Word, and through prayer. God is the reliable leader we need. In acknowledgment of our dependence on the Lord, we can say with the psalmist, ¡°The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters.¡±— Dave Egner		[ 시편 23:1 - 23:6 ] - 찬송가 570 장 그가 나를 푸른 초장에 누이시며 쉴 만한 물가로 인도하시는도다 — 시편 23:2 2005년 터키의 수도 이스탄불에서 한 마리의 양이 절벽으로 뛰어내리자 거의 1,500 마리나 되는 양들이 뒤따라 뛰어내렸습니다. 결국 그 양들 중 약 3분의 1이 죽었습니다. 어디로 가야 할지를 모른 채 양들은 아무 생각 없이 다른 양의 뒤를 따랐던 것입니다. 믿을 수 있는 인도자가 필요하다는 사실을 이 양들 이야기보다 더 잘 보여주는 사례는 없을 것입니다. 이사야는 우리도 모두 양과 같다고 했습니다(사 53:6). 우리는 제각기 자신의 길로 가는 경향이 있어서 목자의 확실한 인도를 필사적으로 받아야 할 필요가 있습니다. 시편 23편은 우리의 신뢰할 수 있는 선한 목자를 묘사하고 있습니다. 주님은 우리를 돌보시며(1절), 우리 육신의 필요를 채워주시고(2절), 어떻게 거룩한 삶을 살 수 있는지를 보여주시며(3절), 우리를 회복시키시고, 위로하시며, 고쳐주시고, 넘치도록 축복해주십니다(3-5절). 그리고 주님은 결코 우리를 버리지 않으십니다(6절). 하나님이 잔잔하게, 그리고 확실히 우리를 인도하시는 것이 얼마나 위로가 되는지요! 하나님은 성령의 강권하심을 통해, 그리고 하나님의 말씀을 읽고 기도하는 것을 통해 그렇게 하십니다. 하나님은 우리가 필요로 하는 신뢰할 수 있는 지도자이십니다. 하나님을 의지해야 함을 인정하며 우리도 시편기자처럼 이렇게 고백할 수 있습니다. “여호와는 나의 목자시니 내게 부족함이 없으리로다 그가 나를 푸른 풀밭에 누이시며 쉴 만한 물가으로 인도하시는도다.”

The Lamb who died to save us
is the Shepherd who lives to guide us.

Psalm 23:1-6

[1] A Psalm of David. The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
[2] He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters.
[3] He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name's sake.
[4] Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
[5] You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over.
[6] Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the LORD Forever.

때로는 그 무리에서 헤매는 양과 같이
혼란한 인생길에서 길을 잃을 때
나의 목자의 손과 지켜보시는 눈이
내 길을 잃지 않도록 항상 지켜주시기를 바라네

우리를 구원하시기 위해 죽으신 어린 양이
우리를 인도하시기 위해 살아계신 목자이시다.

[4] 내가 사망의 음침한 골짜기로 다닐지라도 해를 두려워하지 않을 것은 주께서 나와 함께 하심이라 주의 지팡이와 막대기가 나를 안위하시나이다
[5] 주께서 내 원수의 목전에서 내게 상을 차려 주시고 기름을 내 머리에 부으셨으니 내 잔이 넘치나이다
[6] 내 평생에 선하심과 인자하심이 반드시 나를 따르리니 내가 여호와의 집에 영원히 살리로다
