A Special Birth		특별한 탄생
[ Isaiah 7:10 - 7:15 ] - hymn 109 Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel. — Isaiah 7:14 In the pages of scrip-ture, several baby-boy births stand out. Cain, the firstborn after creation. Isaac, the hope of Israel¡¯s future. Samuel, the answer to a mother¡¯s fervent prayer. All extremely important. All joyously expected. And all described exactly the same by the chroniclers of scrip-ture: In each case, we are told that the mother conceived and bore a son (Gen.4:1; 21:2-3; 1 Sam.1:20). Now consider one more baby boy¡¯s birth. The descrip-tion of this arrival was much more greatly detailed: a few words were clearly not enough to tell of Jesus¡¯birth. In Micah, we were told where He would be born¦¡Bethlehem (5:2). In Isaiah, that His mother would be a virgin (7:14), and that He was coming to save people from their sin (ch.53). In the New Testament, we were given such key information as what His name would be and why (Matt.1:21), where He was born in fulfillment of prophecy (2:6), and how both His birth mother and His adoptive father were part of God¡¯s plan (1:16). Jesus¡¯birth stands above all births. His coming changed the world and can change our lives. Let¡¯s celebrate Him! — Dave Branon		[ 이사야 7:10 - 7:15 ] - 찬송가 109 장 보라 처녀가 잉태하여 아들을 낳을 것이요 그의 이름을 임마누엘이라 하리라 — 이사야 7:14 성경에는 그 출생이 두드러져 보이는 몇 명의 남자아기가 있습니다. 천지창조 후 처음 태어난 가인과 이스라엘의 장래의 소망인 이삭, 그리고 어머니의 간절한 기도의 응답인 사무엘 등입니다. 모두가 지극히 중요하고 기쁨으로 기다렸던 출생이었습니다. 그리고 이들 모두는 성경기자들에 의해 정확하게 똑같이 기록되었습니다. 즉 그 모든 출생은 어머니가 잉태하여 아들을 낳았다고 성경은 우리에게 말해주고 있습니다(창 4:1; 21:2-3; 삼상 1:20). 이제 다른 한 남자아기의 출생을 생각해보겠습니다. 이 출생은 훨씬 더 자세히 묘사되어 있습니다. 몇 마디로는 예수님의 탄생을 모두 기술할 수 없었기 때문입니다. 미가서는 예수님이 탄생하실 곳이 베들레헴이라고 말하고 있고(미 5:2), 이사야서는 그분의 어머니가 처녀라는 것과(7:14), 그분은 백성을 그들의 죄로부터 구원하시기 위해 오실 것(53장)이라고 말합니다. 신약성경은 그분의 이름이 무엇이며 왜 그 이름으로 불리시는지(마 1:21), 예언을 이루시기 위해 어디서 탄생하셨는지(마 2:6), 그리고 그분을 낳은 어머니와 양아버지가 어떻게 하나님의 계획의 일부가 되었는지(마 1:16)와 같은 중요한 정보를 우리에게 주고 있습니다. 예수님의 출생은 다른 어떤 출생과도 비교할 수 없습니다. 그분의 탄생은 세상을 바꾸었고 우리의 삶도 바꿀 수 있습니다. 이 주님을 축하하십시다!

Isaiah 7:10-15

[10] Moreover the LORD spoke again to Ahaz, saying,
[11] "Ask a sign for yourself from the LORD your God; ask it either in the depth or in the height above."
[12] But Ahaz said, "I will not ask, nor will I test the LORD!"
[13] Then he said, "Hear now, O house of David! Is it a small thing for you to weary men, but will you weary my God also?
[14] "Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel.
[15] "Curds and honey He shall eat, that He may know to refuse the evil and choose the good.

거듭나게 하시고
영생하게 하시니
왕께 찬양하여라

그리스도는 사람에게 알려진 가장 큰 선물이다.

이사야 7:10-15

[10] 여호와께서 또 아하스에게 말씀하여 이르시되
[11] 너는 네 하나님 여호와께 한 징조를 구하되 깊은 데에서든지 높은 데에서든지 구하라 하시니
[12] 아하스가 이르되 나는 구하지 아니하겠나이다 나는 여호와를 시험하지 아니하겠나이다 한지라
[13] 이사야가 이르되 다윗의 집이여 원하건대 들을지어다 너희가 사람을 괴롭히고서 그것을 작은 일로 여겨 또 나의 하나님을 괴롭히려 하느냐
[14] 그러므로 주께서 친히 징조를 너희에게 주실 것이라 보라 처녀가 잉태하여 아들을 낳을 것이요 그의 이름을 임마누엘이라 하리라
[15] 그가 악을 버리며 선을 택할 줄 알 때가 되면 엉긴 젖과 꿀을 먹을 것이라
