[ Luke 15:3 - 15:7 ] - hymn 277 There will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance. — Luke 15:7 While on a ministry trip with a Christian high school chorale to Jamaica, we witnessed an illustration of God¡¯s love in action. On the day we visited an orphanage for disabled children and teens, we learned that Donald, one of the boys our kids had interacted with—a teen with cerebral palsy—was going to be adopted. When the adopting couple arrived at the ¡°base¡± where we were staying, it was a joy to talk to them about Donald. But what was even better was what happened later. We were at the base when Donald and his new parents arrived just after they had picked him up at the orphanage. As the brand-new mom embraced her son, our students gathered around her and sang praise songs. Tears flowed. Tears of joy. And Donald was beaming! Later, one of the students said to me, ¡°This reminds me of what it must be like in heaven when someone is saved. The angels rejoice because someone has been adopted into God¡¯s family.¡± Indeed, it was a picture of the joy of heaven when someone new joins God¡¯s forever family by faith in Christ. Jesus spoke of that grand moment when He said, ¡°There will be ... joy in heaven over one sinner who repents¡±(Luke 15:7). Praise God that He has adopted us into His family. No wonder the angels rejoice! — Dave Branon		[ 누가복음 15:3 - 15:7 ] - 찬송가 277 장 죄인 한 사람이 회개하면 하늘에서는 회개할 것 없는 의인 아흔 아홉으로 말미암아 기뻐하는 것보다 더하리라 — 누가복음 15:7 기독교 계통의 고등학교 합창단과 함께 자메이카 선교여행을 하던 중, 우리는 하나님의 사랑이 실제로 역사하고 있는 것을 보았습니다. 장애인 아이들과 장애인 청소년들을 돌보는 고아원을 방문한 날에 우리는 우리와 함께 어울렸던 뇌성마비 청소년 도널드가 입양되리라는 것을 알게 되었습니다. 입양하려는 부부가 우리가 머무르던 “기지”에 도착했을 때, 우리는 그들에게 도널드에 대하여 말할 수 있어서 기뻤습니다. 그러나 더 좋은 일은 그 이후에 일어났습니다. 새 부모님이 고아원에서 도널드를 데리고 막 도착했을 때 마침 우리는 기지에 있었습니다. 새엄마가 그녀의 아들을 꼭 껴안았을 때, 우리 학생들은 그녀 주위에 함께 모여 찬양을 불렀습니다. 눈물이 흘렀습니다. 기쁨의 눈물이었습니다. 도널드도 기쁨에 넘쳐 밝게 웃었습니다! 나중에 한 학생이 나에게 “누군가가 구원받을 때 천국에서도 틀림없이 이와 같을 것이라는 생각이 들어요. 하나님의 가족으로 입양되었기 때문에 천사들도 기뻐하잖아요.”라고 말했습니다. 참으로 그것은 새로운 어떤 사람이 그리스도를 믿음으로 하나님의 영원한 가족이 될 때 천국에서 기뻐하는 모습을 생생히 보여주는 그림이었습니다. 예수님은 그 위대한 순간에 대해 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. “죄인 한 사람이 회개하면 하늘에서는…기뻐하는 것보다 더하리라”(눅 15:7). 우리를 가족으로 입양하신 하나님을 찬양하십시오. 천사들이 기뻐하는 것은 말할 나위도 없습니다!

Angels rejoice when we repent.

Luke 15:3-7

[3] So He spoke this parable to them, saying:
[4] "What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he loses one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness, and go after the one which is lost until he finds it?
[5] "And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing.
[6] "And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and neighbors, saying to them, 'Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost!'
[7] "I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance.

하늘을 창조하시고
갈보리에서 돌아가신 그분이
한 영혼이 자유롭게 될 때
그의 천사들과 함께 기뻐하신다네

우리가 회개하면 천사들이 기뻐한다.

누가복음 15:3-7

[3] 예수께서 그들에게 이 비유로 이르시되
[4] 너희 중에 어떤 사람이 양 백 마리가 있는데 그 중의 하나를 잃으면 아흔아홉 마리를 들에 두고 그 잃은 것을 찾아내기까지 찾아다니지 아니하겠느냐
[5] 또 찾아낸즉 즐거워 어깨에 메고
[6] 집에 와서 그 벗과 이웃을 불러 모으고 말하되 나와 함께 즐기자 나의 잃은 양을 찾아내었노라 하리라
