[ Matthew 11:25 - 11:30 ] - hymn 419 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. — Matthew 11:28 Entering a church in Klang, Malaysia, I was intrigued by the sign welcoming us into the building. It declared the place to be ¡°A Sanctuary for the Heavy Laden.¡± Few things better reflect the heart of Christ than for His church to be a place where burdens are lifted and the weary find rest. This was vital in Jesus¡¯ ministry, for He said, ¡°Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest¡±(Matt.11:28). Jesus promised to take our burdens and exchange them for His light load. ¡°Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light¡±(vv.29-30). This promise is backed by His great strength. Whatever burdens we may carry, in Christ we find the strong shoulders of the Son of God, who promises to take our heavy burdens and exchange them for His light load. Christ, who loves us with an everlasting love, understands our struggles, and can be trusted to provide us with a rest we can never find on our own. His strength is enough for our weakness, making Him our ¡°sanctuary for the heavy laden.¡±— Bill Crowder		[ 마태복음 11:25 - 11:30 ] - 찬송가 419 장 수고하고 무거운 짐 진 자들아 다 내게로 오라 내가 너희를 쉬게 하리라 — 마태복음 11:28 말레이시아의 클랭에 있는 한 교회에 들어갈 때, 건물 안으로 들어가는 우리를 환영하는 표지가 나의 흥미를 끌었습니다. 그 표지에는 그곳을 “무거운 짐 진 자들을 위한 성소”라고 지칭하고 있었습니다. 주님의 교회가 무거운 짐을 내려놓는 곳이 되고, 지친 자들이 쉼을 얻는 곳이 되는 것보다 주님의 마음을 더 잘 반영하는 것은 별로 없을 것입니다. 주님이 “수고하고 무거운 짐 진 자들아 다 내게로 오라 내가 너희를 쉬게 하리라”(마 11:28)라고 말씀하신 것같이, 그것은 예수님의 사역에 있어 필수적입니다. 예수님은 우리의 무거운 짐을 주님의 가벼운 짐으로 바꾸어주시겠다고 약속하셨습니다. “나는 마음이 온유하고 겸손하니 나의 멍에를 메고 내게 배우라 그리하면 너희 마음이 쉼을 얻으리니 이는 내 멍에는 쉽고 내 짐은 가벼움이라”(29-30절). 이 약속은 주님의 위대한 힘에 의해 뒷받침됩니다. 어떤 짐을 지고 있든지 우리는 그리스도 안에서 우리의 무거운 짐을 주님의 가벼운 짐으로 바꾸어주시겠다고 약속하시는 하나님의 아들의 강한 어깨를 발견할 수 있습니다. 영원한 사랑으로 우리를 사랑하시는 주님은 우리의 수고를 이해하시고 우리 스스로는 결코 찾을 수 없는 쉼을 주시는 분임을 우리는 믿을 수 있습니다. 주님의 힘은 우리의 약함을 도우시기에 충분하여, 주님이 우리의 “무거운 짐 진 자들을 위한 성소”가 되게 해줍니다.

God calls the restless ones to find their rest in Him.

Matthew 11:25-30

[25] At that time Jesus answered and said, "I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and have revealed them to babes.
[26] "Even so, Father, for so it seemed good in Your sight.
[27] "All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father. Nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him.
[28] "Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
[29] "Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
[30] "For My yoke is easy and My burden is light."

“마음에 염려하지 말라”는
주님의 부드러운 음성을 듣고
선하신 주님 안에서 내가 쉴 때에
나의 걱정과 두려움은 사라져버리네

하나님은 쉼을 얻지 못하는 자들을 불러
주님 안에서 쉼을 얻게 하신다.

마태복음 11:25-30

[25] 그 때에 예수께서 대답하여 이르시되 천지의 주재이신 아버지여 이것을 지혜롭고 슬기 있는 자들에게는 숨기시고 어린 아이들에게는 나타내심을 감사하나이다
[26] 옳소이다 이렇게 된 것이 아버지의 뜻이니이다
[27] 내 아버지께서 모든 것을 내게 주셨으니 아버지 외에는 아들을 아는 자가 없고 아들과 또 아들의 소원대로 계시를 받는 자 외에는 아버지를 아는 자가 없느니라
[28] 수고하고 무거운 짐 진 자들아 다 내게로 오라 내가 너희를 쉬게 하리라
[29] 나는 마음이 온유하고 겸손하니 나의 멍에를 메고 내게 배우라 그리하면 너희 마음이 쉼을 얻으리니
[30] 이는 내 멍에는 쉽고 내 짐은 가벼움이라 하시니라
