Giving It To God		하나님께 드리기
[ Mark 10:17 - 10:22 ] - hymn 50 [He] went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions. — Mark 10:22 A hero to a generation of people who grew up after World War II, Corrie ten Boom left a legacy of godliness and wisdom. A victim of the Nazi occupation of the Netherlands, she survived to tell her story of faith and dependence on God during horrendous suffering. ¡°I have held many things in my hands,¡± Corrie once said, ¡°and I have lost them all; but whatever I have placed in God¡¯s hands, that, I still possess.¡± Corrie was well acquainted with loss. She lost family, possessions, and years of her life to hateful people. Yet she learned to concentrate on what could be gained spiritually and emotionally by putting everything in the hands of her heavenly Father. What does that mean to us? What should we place in God¡¯s hands for safekeeping? According to the story of the rich young man in Mark 10, everything. He held abundance in his hands, but when Jesus asked him to give it up, he refused. He kept his possessions and he failed to follow Jesus—and as a result he ¡°went away sorrowful¡±(v.22). Like Corrie ten Boom, we can find hope by putting everything in God¡¯s hands and then trusting Him for the outcome. — Dave Branon		[ 마가복음 10:17 - 10:22 ] - 찬송가 50 장 그 사람은 재물이 많은 고로…슬픈 기색을 띠고 근심하며 가니라 — 마가복음 10:22 제2차 세계대전 이후에 자라난 세대의 영웅인 코리 텐 붐은 깊은 경건과 지혜의 유산을 남겼습니다. 나치가 네덜란드를 점령했을 당시의 희생자였던 그녀는 살아남아 참혹한 고통 속에서도 하나님을 믿고 의지했던 그녀의 이야기를 들려주었습니다. 언젠가 코리는 이렇게 말했습니다. “저는 제 손에 많은 것들을 붙잡고 있었지만 결국 다 잃어버렸습니다. 그러나 하나님 손에 맡긴 것들은 그 무엇이든 아직도 가지고 있습니다.” 코리는 잃어버리는 것에 아주 익숙했습니다. 그녀는 증오로 가득 찬 사람들에게 가족과 재산, 그리고 인생의 많은 날들을 잃어버렸습니다. 그러나 그녀는 하나님 아버지의 손에 모든 것을 맡김으로써 얻을 수 있는 영적인, 그리고 감정적인 것들에 마음을 집중하는 법을 배웠습니다. 그것이 우리에게 의미하는 바가 무엇일까요? 우리는 안전하게 보호하기 위해 무엇을 하나님의 손에 맡겨야 할까요? 마가복음 10장에 나오는 부자 청년의 이야기에 따르면, 우리는 모든 것을 맡겨야합니다. 그 청년은 재물이 많았지만 예수님이 그것을 다 내어놓으라 하셨을 때 받아들이지 않았습니다. 그는 그의 재물을 택했기 때문에 예수님을 따르지 못했습니다. 그 결과 그는 “슬픈 기색을 띠고 근심하며 갔습니다”(22절). 코리 텐 붐과 같이 모든 것을 하나님의 손에 맡기고 그 결과에 대해 하나님을 신뢰함으로써 우리는 참 소망을 발견할 수 있습니다.

No life is more secure than a life surrendered to God.

Mark 10:17-22

[17] Now as He was going out on the road, one came running, knelt before Him, and asked Him, "Good Teacher, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?"
[18] So Jesus said to him, "Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God.
[19] "You know the commandments: 'Do not commit adultery,' 'Do not murder,' 'Do not steal,' 'Do not bear false witness,' 'Do not defraud,' 'Honor your father and your mother.'"
[20] And he answered and said to Him, "Teacher, all these things I have kept from my youth."
[21] Then Jesus, looking at him, loved him, and said to him, "One thing you lack: Go your way, sell whatever you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, take up the cross, and follow Me."
[22] But he was sad at this word, and went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions.

내게 있는 모든 것을
아낌없이 바치네
사랑하고 의지하여
주만 따라가겠네

주님께 드려진 삶보다 더 안전한 삶은 없다.

마가복음 10:17-22

[17] 예수께서 길에 나가실새 한 사람이 달려와서 꿇어 앉아 묻자오되 선한 선생님이여 내가 무엇을 하여야 영생을 얻으리이까
[18] 예수께서 이르시되 네가 어찌하여 나를 선하다 일컫느냐 하나님 한 분 외에는 선한 이가 없느니라
[19] 네가 계명을 아나니 살인하지 말라, 간음하지 말라, 도둑질하지 말라, 거짓 증언 하지 말라, 속여 빼앗지 말라, 네 부모를 공경하라 하였느니라
[20] 그가 여짜오되 선생님이여 이것은 내가 어려서부터 다 지켰나이다
[21] 예수께서 그를 보시고 사랑하사 이르시되 네게 아직도 한 가지 부족한 것이 있으니 가서 네게 있는 것을 다 팔아 가난한 자들에게 주라 그리하면 하늘에서 보화가 네게 있으리라 그리고 와서 나를 따르라 하시니
[22] 그 사람은 재물이 많은 고로 이 말씀으로 인하여 슬픈 기색을 띠고 근심하며 가니라
