Our Foundation		우리의 터
[ 1 Corinthians 3:1 - 3:11 ] - hymn 204 For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. — 1 Corinthians 3:11 The Bavarian city of Nördlingen is unique. It sits in the middle of the Ries Crater, a large circular depression caused by the impact of a huge meteorite a long time ago. The immense pressure of the impact resulted in unusual crystallized rock and millions of microscopic diamonds. In the 13th century, these speckled stones were used to build St. George¡¯s Church. Visitors can see the beautiful crystal deposits in its foundation and walls. Some might say it has a heavenly foundation. The Bible talks of a different kind of heavenly foundation. The Lord Jesus came to our world from heaven (John 3:13). When He went back into heaven after His death and resurrection, He left His followers who became the ¡°living temple¡± of God, of which He is the foundation. The apostle Paul says, ¡°For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ¡±(1 Cor.3:11). The church building in Bavaria is built on a foundation from pieces of rock from the physical heavens. But the spiritual church—all believers in Christ—is founded on the ultimate heavenly foundation, Christ Jesus (Isa.28:16; 1 Cor.10:3-4). Praise God that because of what Jesus has done our salvation is secure. — Dennis Fisher		[ 고린도전서 3:1 - 3:11 ] - 찬송가 204 장 이 닦아 둔 것 외에 능히 다른 터를 닦아 둘 자가 없으니 이 터는 곧 예수 그리스도라 - 고린도전서 3:11 독일 뇌르트링겐에 있는 바이에른은 독특한 도시입니다. 그 도시는 오래 전 거대한 운석이 떨어져 생긴 커다란 원형모양의 리스 분화구 한가운데에 위치하고 있습니다. 운석이 떨어졌을 때 엄청난 압력 때문에 희귀한 수정체 암석과 수많은 미세한 다이아몬드들이 만들어졌습니다. 13세기에 그 도시의 세인트 조지 성당을 지을 때 이 알록달록한 암석들이 사용되었습니다. 방문객들은 성당 터와 벽에 아름다운 수정 조각들이 박혀있는 것을 볼 수 있는데, 혹자는 이 성당이 천상의 터에 지어졌다고 말하기도 할 것입니다. 성경은 다른 종류의 천상의 터에 관해 언급합니다. 주 예수님이 하늘로부터 이 세상에 오셨습니다(요 3:13). 예수님이 죽으시고 부활하신 후 승천하셨을 때, 주님은 주님을 따르던 무리들을 하나님의 “산 성전”으로 뒤에 남겨두셨습니다. 그 ‘산 성전’의 터가 바로 예수님이십니다. 바울사도는 “이 닦아 둔 것 외에 능히 다른 터를 닦아둘 자가 없으니 이 터는 곧 예수 그리스도라”(고전 3:11)라고 말합니다. 바이에른 시에 있는 성당 건물은 하늘에서 떨어진 운석 조각들로 이루어진 터 위에 지어져 있습니다. 하지만 그리스도를 믿는 모든 자들로 이루어진 영적인 교회는 궁극적인 천국의 터인 그리스도 예수 위에 기초를 두고 있습니다(사 28:16; 고전 10:3-4). 예수님이 하신 일 때문에 우리의 구원이 확실해졌으니 하나님을 찬양하십시오.

On Christ salvation rests secure;
The Rock of Ages will endure;
Nor can that faith be overthrown

1 Corinthians 3:1-11

[1] And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual people but as to carnal, as to babes in Christ.
[2] I fed you with milk and not with solid food; for until now you were not able to receive it, and even now you are still not able;
[3] for you are still carnal. For where there are envy, strife, and divisions among you, are you not carnal and behaving like mere men?
[4] For when one says, "I am of Paul," and another, "I am of Apollos," are you not carnal?
[5] Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers through whom you believed, as the Lord gave to each one?
[6] I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase.
[7] So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase.
[8] Now he who plants and he who waters are one, and each one will receive his own reward according to his own labor.
[9] For we are God's fellow workers; you are God's field, you are God's building.
[10] According to the grace of God which was given to me, as a wise master builder I have laid the foundation, and another builds on it. But let each one take heed how he builds on it.
[11] For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

그리스도 안에 확실한 구원이 있네
만세 반석 되신 주 영원하리
“산 돌” 위에 쌓은 믿음
무너질 수 없다네

반석이신 그리스도는 우리의 확실한 소망이다.

고린도전서 3:1-11

[1] 형제들아 내가 신령한 자들을 대함과 같이 너희에게 말할 수 없어서 육신에 속한 자 곧 그리스도 안에서 어린 아이들을 대함과 같이 하노라
[2] 내가 너희를 젖으로 먹이고 밥으로 아니하였노니 이는 너희가 감당하지 못하였음이거니와 지금도 못하리라
[3] 너희는 아직도 육신에 속한 자로다 너희 가운데 시기와 분쟁이 있으니 어찌 육신에 속하여 사람을 따라 행함이 아니리요
[4] 어떤 이는 말하되 나는 바울에게라 하고 다른 이는 나는 아볼로에게라 하니 너희가 육의 사람이 아니리요
[5] 그런즉 아볼로는 무엇이며 바울은 무엇이냐 그들은 주께서 각각 주신 대로 너희로 하여금 믿게 한 사역자들이니라
[6] 나는 심었고 아볼로는 물을 주었으되 오직 하나님께서 자라나게 하셨나니
[7] 그런즉 심는 이나 물 주는 이는 아무 것도 아니로되 오직 자라게 하시는 이는 하나님뿐이니라
[8] 심는 이와 물 주는 이는 한가지이나 각각 자기가 일한 대로 자기의 상을 받으리라
[9] 우리는 하나님의 동역자들이요 너희는 하나님의 밭이요 하나님의 집이니라
[10] 내게 주신 하나님의 은혜를 따라 내가 지혜로운 건축자와 같이 터를 닦아 두매 다른 이가 그 위에 세우나 그러나 각각 어떻게 그 위에 세울까를 조심할지니라
[11] 이 닦아 둔 것 외에 능히 다른 터를 닦아 둘 자가 없으니 이 터는 곧 예수 그리스도라
