Holy, Holy, Holy		거룩, 거룩, 거룩
[ Revelation 4:1 - 4:11 ] - hymn 8 They do not rest day or night, saying: ¡°Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, who was and is and is to come!¡± — Revelation 4:8 ¡°Time flies when you¡¯re having fun.¡± This cliché has no basis in fact, but experience makes it seem true. When life is pleasant, time passes all too quickly. Give me a task that I enjoy, or a person whose company I love, and time seems irrelevant. My experience of this ¡°reality¡± has given me a new understanding of the scene described in Revelation 4. In the past, when I considered the four living creatures seated around God¡¯s throne who keep repeating the same few words, I thought, What a boring existence! I don¡¯t think that anymore. I think about the scenes they have witnessed with their many eyes (v.8). I consider the view they have from their position around God¡¯s throne (v.6). I think of how amazed they are at God¡¯s wise and loving involvement with wayward earthlings. Then I think, What better response could there be? What else is there to say but, ¡°Holy, holy, holy¡±? Is it boring to say the same words over and over? Not when you¡¯re in the presence of the one you love. Not when you¡¯re doing exactly what you were designed to do. Like the four creatures, we were designed to glorify God. Our lives will never be boring if we¡¯re focusing our attention on Him and fulfilling that purpose. — Julie Ackerman Link		[ 요한계시록 4:1 - 4:11 ] - 찬송가 8 장 그들이 밤낮 쉬지 않고 이르기를 거룩하다 거룩하다 거룩하다 주 하나님 곧 전능하신 이여 전에도 계셨고 이제도 계시고 장차 오실 이시라 하고 - 요한계시록 4:8 “재미있을 때는 시간이 빨리 지나간다.” 이 상투적인 문구는 사실적 근거는 없으나 경험상 맞는 것 같습니다. 삶이 즐거울 때는 시간이 너무 빠르게 지나가버립니다. 내가 즐기는 일을 하거나 사랑하는 사람과 함께 있으면 시간은 아무 의미가 없습니다. 나의 이 “실제” 경험은 요한계시록 4장에 묘사되어 있는 장면을 새롭게 이해하게 해주었습니다. 과거에는 하나님의 보좌 주위에서 같은 말을 반복하는 네 생물이 얼마나 지루할까 생각했었습니다. 하지만 지금은 그렇게 생각하지 않습니다. 그들의 많은 눈(8절)으로 보았던 장면들을 생각하고, 하나님의 보좌(6절) 주위의 위치에서 그들이 볼 수 있는 것들을 생각합니다. 그리고 제멋대로 살아가는 사람들에게 하나님이 지혜와 사랑으로 관여하시는 것이 그들에게 얼마나 놀랍게 보일까 생각합니다. 그러고 나서 그런 것들에 어떻게 반응하는 것이 보다 나을까 생각해봅니다. 하지만 “거룩하다 거룩하다 거룩하다”라는 말 말고 어떤 말을 더 할 수 있을까요? 같은 말을 계속 반복하는 것이 지루하십니까? 사랑하는 사람 앞에 있다면 그렇지 않을 겁니다. 그리고 당신이 창조된 목적 그대로 일을 하고 있을 때에도 그렇지 않을 것입니다. 그 네 생물과 같이 우리도 하나님을 영화롭게 하도록 지음 받았습니다. 하나님께 초점을 맞추고 우리가 지음 받은 목적을 이행하면 우리의 삶이 결코 지루하지 않을 것입니다.

Revelation 4:1-11

[1] After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven. And the first voice which I heard was like a trumpet speaking with me, saying, "Come up here, and I will show you things which must take place after this."
[2] Immediately I was in the Spirit; and behold, a throne set in heaven, and One sat on the throne.
[3] And He who sat there was like a jasper and a sardius stone in appearance; and there was a rainbow around the throne, in appearance like an emerald.
[4] Around the throne were twenty-four thrones, and on the thrones I saw twenty-four elders sitting, clothed in white robes; and they had crowns of gold on their heads.
[5] And from the throne proceeded lightnings, thunderings, and voices. Seven lamps of fire were burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.
[6] Before the throne there was a sea of glass, like crystal. And in the midst of the throne, and around the throne, were four living creatures full of eyes in front and in back.
[7] The first living creature was like a lion, the second living creature like a calf, the third living creature had a face like a man, and the fourth living creature was like a flying eagle.
[8] The four living creatures, each having six wings, were full of eyes around and within. And they do not rest day or night, saying: "Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, Who was and is and is to come!"
[9] Whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to Him who sits on the throne, who lives forever and ever,
[10] the twenty-four elders fall down before Him who sits on the throne and worship Him who lives forever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying:
[11] "You are worthy, O Lord, To receive glory and honor and power; For You created all things, And by Your will they exist and were created."

거룩 거룩 거룩 전능하신 주여
이른 아침 우리 주를 찬송합니다

성삼위 일체 우리 주로다

내 마음이 하나님과 조율되면
하나님을 찬양하지 않을 수 없다.

요한계시록 4:1-11

[1] 이 일 후에 내가 보니 하늘에 열린 문이 있는데 내가 들은 바 처음에 내게 말하던 나팔 소리 같은 그 음성이 이르되 이리로 올라오라 이 후에 마땅히 일어날 일들을 내가 네게 보이리라 하시더라
[2] 내가 곧 성령에 감동되었더니 보라 하늘에 보좌를 베풀었고 그 보좌 위에 앉으신 이가 있는데
[3] 앉으신 이의 모양이 벽옥과 홍보석 같고 또 무지개가 있어 보좌에 둘렸는데 그 모양이 녹보석 같더라
[4] 또 보좌에 둘려 이십사 보좌들이 있고 그 보좌들 위에 이십사 장로들이 흰 옷을 입고 머리에 금관을 쓰고 앉았더라
[5] 보좌로부터 번개와 음성과 우렛소리가 나고 보좌 앞에 켠 등불 일곱이 있으니 이는 하나님의 일곱 영이라
[6] 보좌 앞에 수정과 같은 유리 바다가 있고 보좌 가운데와 보좌 주위에 네 생물이 있는데 앞뒤에 눈들이 가득하더라
[7] 그 첫째 생물은 사자 같고 그 둘째 생물은 송아지 같고 그 셋째 생물은 얼굴이 사람 같고 그 넷째 생물은 날아가는 독수리 같은데
[8] 네 생물은 각각 여섯 날개를 가졌고 그 안과 주위에는 눈들이 가득하더라 그들이 밤낮 쉬지 않고 이르기를 거룩하다 거룩하다 거룩하다 주 하나님 곧 전능하신 이여 전에도 계셨고 이제도 계시고 장차 오실 이시라 하고
[9] 그 생물들이 보좌에 앉으사 세세토록 살아 계시는 이에게 영광과 존귀와 감사를 돌릴 때에
[10] 이십사 장로들이 보좌에 앉으신 이 앞에 엎드려 세세토록 살아 계시는 이에게 경배하고 자기의 관을 보좌 앞에 드리며 이르되
[11] 우리 주 하나님이여 영광과 존귀와 권능을 받으시는 것이 합당하오니 주께서 만물을 지으신지라 만물이 주의 뜻대로 있었고 또 지으심을 받았나이다 하더라
