Water For The World		세상을 위한 물
[ John 4:7 - 4:15 ] - hymn 526 He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water. — John 7:38 Although 70 percent of the world is covered by water, less than 1 percent of it is drinkable by humans. Water conservation and sanitation are crucial matters in many parts of the world, as all life depends on having sanitary water. Jesus went out of His way to introduce a lost woman to another kind of life-giving water. He deliberately chose to go to a town in Samaria, a place where no respectable rabbi would set foot. There, He told this woman about ¡°living water.¡± Those who drink of it, He said, ¡°will never thirst.¡± It will ¡°become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life¡±(John 4:14). The living water is Jesus Himself. Those who receive Him have eternal life (v.14). But the living water He provides also serves another function. Jesus said of those who receive it: ¡°Out of his heart will flow rivers of living water¡±(7:38). The living water that refreshes us is to refresh others also. As fresh-water distribution is uneven in the world, so too is the distribution of living water. Many people do not know followers of Jesus who really care about them. It is our privilege to share Him. Christ is, after all, the living water for whom people are thirsting. — C. P. Hia		[ 요한복음 4:7 - 4:15 ] - 찬송가 526 장 나를 믿는 자는 성경에 이름과 같이 그 배에서 생수의 강이 흘러나오리라 - 요한복음 7:38 비록 세상의 70퍼센트가 물로 뒤덮여 있지만, 사람이 마셔도 되는 물은 그중의 1퍼센트도 안 됩니다. 모든 생명체가 깨끗한 물에 의존하고 있기 때문에 물을 보존하고 위생 처리하는 일은 세계 곳곳에서 아주 중대한 문제입니다. 예수님은 잃어버린 한 여인에게 생명을 주는 다른 종류의 물을 소개하기 위해 특별한 노력을 기울이셨습니다. 주님은 존경받는 율법 스승이라면 발을 들여놓지도 않을 사마리아의 한 마을로 일부러 가셨습니다. 거기서 예수님은 이 여인에게 “생수”에 대해 말씀하셨습니다. 그 물을 마시는 사람은 “영원히 목마르지 아니하리니 내가 주는 물은 그 속에서 영생하도록 솟아나는 샘물이 되리라”(요 4:14)라고 주님은 말씀하셨습니다. 생수는 예수님 자신입니다. 주님을 영접하는 사람들은 영생을 가집니다(14절). 하지만 주님이 주시는 생수에는 다른 기능도 있습니다. 예수님은 생수를 받는 사람들은 “그 배에서 생수의 강이 흘러나오리라”(7:38)라고 하셨습니다. 우리를 새롭게 하는 생수는 다른 사람도 새롭게 하는 것입니다. 이 세상에 담수가 골고루 분포되어 있지 않은 것처럼 생수 또한 그렇습니다. 많은 사람들은 예수님을 따르는 자들이 그들을 진심으로 염려해주는 사람들이라는 것을 모르고 있습니다. 예수님을 나누는 것은 우리의 특권입니다. 목마른 사람들을 위한 생수는 결국 예수님입니다.

Lord Jesus, I want to live for You. May Your
life and love flow through me as I go about my
duties today so that others may see You through
me and be drawn to the living water.

Jesus is a never-ending supply of living water for a parched world.

John 4:7-15

[7] A woman of Samaria came to draw water. Jesus said to her, 'Give Me a drink."
[8] For His disciples had gone away into the city to buy food.
[9] Then the woman of Samaria said to Him, "How is it that You, being a Jew, ask a drink from me, a Samaritan woman?" For Jews have no dealings with Samaritans.
[10] Jesus answered and said to her, 'If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, 'Give Me a drink,' you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water."
[11] The woman said to Him, "Sir, You have nothing to draw with, and the well is deep. Where then do You get that living water?
[12] "Are You greater than our father Jacob, who gave us the well, and drank from it himself, as well as his sons and his livestock?"
[13] Jesus answered and said to her, 'Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again,
[14] 'but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life."
[15] The woman said to Him, "Sir, give me this water, that I may not thirst, nor come here to draw."

주 예수님, 주님을 위해 살고 싶습니다.
오늘 제가 할 일을 할 때에 주님의 생명과 사랑이
저를 통해 흘러나와, 다른 사람들이 저를 통해 주님을 보고
생수로 이끌리게 하소서.

예수님은 목마른 세상을 위한
마르지 않는 생수 공급원이다.

요한복음 4:7-15

[7] 사마리아 여자 한 사람이 물을 길으러 왔으매 예수께서 물을 좀 달라 하시니
[8] 이는 제자들이 먹을 것을 사러 그 동네에 들어갔음이러라
[9] 사마리아 여자가 이르되 당신은 유대인으로서 어찌하여 사마리아 여자인 나에게 물을 달라 하나이까 하니 이는 유대인이 사마리아인과 상종하지 아니함이러라
[10] 예수께서 대답하여 이르시되 네가 만일 하나님의 선물과 또 네게 물 좀 달라 하는 이가 누구인 줄 알았더라면 네가 그에게 구하였을 것이요 그가 생수를 네게 주었으리라
[11] 여자가 이르되 주여 물 길을 그릇도 없고 이 우물은 깊은데 어디서 당신이 그 생수를 얻겠사옵나이까
[12] 우리 조상 야곱이 이 우물을 우리에게 주셨고 또 여기서 자기와 자기 아들들과 짐승이 다 마셨는데 당신이 야곱보다 더 크니이까
[13] 예수께서 대답하여 이르시되 이 물을 마시는 자마다 다시 목마르려니와
[14] 내가 주는 물을 마시는 자는 영원히 목마르지 아니하리니 내가 주는 물은 그 속에서 영생하도록 솟아나는 샘물이 되리라
[15] 여자가 이르되 주여 그런 물을 내게 주사 목마르지도 않고 또 여기 물 길으러 오지도 않게 하옵소서
