[ Hebrews 10:19 - 10:25 ] - hymn 221 Let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works. — Hebrews 10:24 After trying on my new sunglasses in the car one day, my daughter handed them back and said, ¡°These are not sunglasses, Mom. They¡¯re just fashion lenses. Let me guess,¡± she teased, ¡°you bought them because you look cute in them.¡± Okay, I have to admit—my daughter knows me. I hadn¡¯t given a passing thought to UV rays or even whether those glasses would actually block the sun. I just really liked the way they looked on me. Most of us like to look good. We want to appear that we ¡°have it all together¡±—with no struggles or fears or temptations or heartaches. Trying to maintain a façade of perfection on our spiritual journey doesn¡¯t help us or our fellow travelers. But sharing our lives with others in the body of Christ benefits us as well as others. When we are a bit more transparent, we may find people who are struggling in a similar situation. And as we enjoy a growing fellowship with God and become more aware of our own brokenness and inadequacy, God is able to use us more fully to help others. Let¡¯s allow God to strip away any pretense and ¡°let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds¡±(Heb.10:24 niv). — Cindy Hess Kasper		[ 히브리서 10:19 - 10:25 ] - 찬송가 221 장 서로 돌아보아 사랑과 선행을 격려하며 - 히브리서 10:24 어느 날 딸이 차 안에서 내가 새로 산 선글라스를 써본 후 돌려주며, “엄마, 이건 선글라스가 아니고 단지 멋으로 쓰는 안경이네요. 그걸 쓰니 귀엽게 보여서 산 거지요”라고 말하며 놀렸습니다. 그렇습니다. 딸이 나를 알고 있다는 것을 인정하지 않을 수 없습니다. 나는 자외선에 대해서나 그 안경이 실제로 태양광선을 막을 수 있는지에 대해서는 전혀 생각해보지 않았습니다. 단지 그걸 쓴 내 모습이 너무 좋았던 것입니다. 우리는 대개 좋게 보이는 것을 좋아합니다. 우리는 어려움이나 두려움, 혹은 유혹이나 슬픔이 없이 “모든 것이 다 갖추어진 것”처럼 보이기를 원합니다. 우리의 믿음 생활에서 완벽한 겉모양을 유지하려고 애쓰는 것은 우리 자신에게나 동료들에게 도움이 되지 않습니다. 하지만, 예수님의 지체 안에서 우리의 삶을 다른 사람들과 나누면 우리 자신은 물론 다른 사람들에게도 유익이 됩니다. 우리가 조금 더 투명해지면 비슷한 처지에서 힘들어하는 사람들을 발견할 수도 있습니다. 우리가 하나님과 더 깊어지는 교제를 즐기며 우리의 나약함과 부족함을 더 많이 깨달아갈 때, 하나님은 다른 사람들을 도울 수 있도록 우리를 더 많이 사용하실 수 있습니다. 하나님이 우리의 겉치레를 제거하게 하시고, “서로 돌아보아 사랑과 선행을 격려”(히 10:24)하도록 합시다.

Believers stand strong when they don¡¯t stand alone.

Hebrews 10:19-25

[19] Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus,
[20] by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh,
[21] and having a High Priest over the house of God,
[22] let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.
[23] Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.
[24] And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works,
[25] not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.

모든 것이 좋게 보이는 가면을 쓰고는
인생의 역경은 하나님의 의도한 바가 아니라 하네
하지만 우리 마음이 열려 투명해지고 진실해질 때
다른 사람들도 그들이 힘들게 될 때에 하나님을 믿게 된다네

믿는 자들은 홀로 서지 않을 때 더 굳건히 선다.

히브리서 10:19-25

[19] 그러므로 형제들아 우리가 예수의 피를 힘입어 성소에 들어갈 담력을 얻었나니
[20] 그 길은 우리를 위하여 휘장 가운데로 열어 놓으신 새로운 살 길이요 휘장은 곧 그의 육체니라
[21] 또 하나님의 집 다스리는 큰 제사장이 계시매
[22] 우리가 마음에 뿌림을 받아 악한 양심으로부터 벗어나고 몸은 맑은 물로 씻음을 받았으니 참 마음과 온전한 믿음으로 하나님께 나아가자
[23] 또 약속하신 이는 미쁘시니 우리가 믿는 도리의 소망을 움직이지 말며 굳게 잡고
[24] 서로 돌아보아 사랑과 선행을 격려하며
[25] 모이기를 폐하는 어떤 사람들의 습관과 같이 하지 말고 오직 권하여 그 날이 가까움을 볼수록 더욱 그리하자
