Uncertain Times		불확실의 시대
[ Philippians 4:6 - 4:9 ] - hymn 412 The peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. — Philippians 4:7 During a major economic downturn several years ago, many people lost their jobs. Sadly, my brother-in-law was one of them. Writing to me about their situation, my sister shared that although there were uncertainties, they had peace because they knew that God would care for them. Believers in Jesus can have peace in the midst of uncertainties because we have the assurance that our heavenly Father loves His children and cares for our needs (Matt. 6:25-34). We can bring all our concerns to Him with an attitude of thankfulness, trusting Him to meet our needs and give us peace (Phil.4:6-7). ¡°The peace of God, which surpasses all understanding,¡± writes the apostle Paul, ¡°will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus¡± (v.7). To say the peace of God surpasses all understanding reveals that we can¡¯t explain it, but we can experience it as He guards our hearts and minds. Our peace comes from the confidence that the Lord loves us and He is in control. He alone provides the comfort that settles our nerves, fills our minds with hope, and allows us to relax even in the midst of changes and challenges. — Poh Fang Chia		[ 빌립보서 4:6 - 4:9 ] - 찬송가 412 장 그리하면 모든 지각에 뛰어난 하나님의 평강이 그리스도 예수 안에서 너희 마음과 생각을 지키시리라 - 빌립보서 4:7 몇 년 전 심각한 경제 불황의 시기에 많은 사람들이 직업을 잃었습니다. 안타깝게도 내 여동생의 남편도 그들 중 한 사람이었습니다. 내 여동생은 자신들이 처한 상황에 대해 쓴 편지에서, 상황이 불확실할지라도 하나님이 그들을 돌보아주실 것을 알고 있기 때문에 평안하다고 말했습니다. 예수님을 믿는 사람들은 하늘에 계신 아버지께서 그분의 자녀들을 사랑하시고 우리의 필요를 돌보아주신다는 확신을 가지고 있기 때문에 불확실성 속에서도 평강을 누릴 수 있습니다(마 6:25-34). 우리는 우리의 필요를 채워주시고 우리에게 평강을 주시는 하나님을 신뢰하면서, 감사하는 마음으로 우리의 모든 염려를 하나님께 맡길 수 있습니다(빌 4:6-7). 바울사도는 “모든 지각에 뛰어난 하나님의 평강이 그리스도 예수 안에서 너희 마음과 생각을 지키시리라”(7절)라고 기록하고 있습니다. 하나님의 평강이 모든 지각에 뛰어나다는 말씀은, 하나님이 우리의 마음과 생각을 지키실 때 우리가 그것을 설명할 수는 없지만 경험할 수는 있다는 것을 알려줍니다. 우리의 평안은 하나님께서 우리를 사랑하시고 하나님께서 다스리신다는 확신으로부터 나옵니다. 하나님 한 분만이 우리의 불안을 안정시키는 편안함을 공급해주시고, 소망으로 우리의 마음을 채워주시며, 변화와 도전 속에서도 우리를 쉬게 하십니다.

Heavenly Father, You are all-wise, all-powerful, and
all-loving. In the midst of uncertainties, help me to
rest in the certainty of who You are. I thank You
that Your peace will guard my heart. I place my trust in You.

You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. — Isaiah 26:3

Philippians 4:6-9

[6] Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;
[7] and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
[8] Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy--meditate on these things.
[9] The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.

하늘에 계신 하나님 아버지, 하나님은 지혜와 능력과 사랑이
충만하십니다. 불확실함 속에서도 하나님이 어떤 분이시라는 것을
확신하는 가운데 안식할 수 있도록 도와주소서. 하나님의 평강이
나의 마음을 지켜주시니 감사드립니다. 하나님을 신뢰합니다.

주께서 심지가 견고한 자를 평강하고 평강하도록 지키시리니
이는 그가 주를 의뢰함이니이다. - 이사야 26:3

빌립보서 4:6-9

[6] 아무 것도 염려하지 말고 다만 모든 일에 기도와 간구로, 너희 구할 것을 감사함으로 하나님께 아뢰라
[7] 그리하면 모든 지각에 뛰어난 하나님의 평강이 그리스도 예수 안에서 너희 마음과 생각을 지키시리라
[8] 끝으로 형제들아 무엇에든지 참되며 무엇에든지 경건하며 무엇에든지 옳으며 무엇에든지 정결하며 무엇에든지 사랑 받을 만하며 무엇에든지 칭찬 받을 만하며 무슨 덕이 있든지 무슨 기림이 있든지 이것들을 생각하라
[9] 너희는 내게 배우고 받고 듣고 본 바를 행하라 그리하면 평강의 하나님이 너희와 함께 계시리라
