The Jaws Of Death		죽음의 문턱
[ Luke 9:1 - 9:6 ] - hymn 260 They departed and went through the towns, preaching the gospel and healing everywhere. — Luke 9:6 Lauren Kornacki is glad she took that summer CPR class, but she probably never thought she would have to use it so soon and on someone she loves. Her father was repairing his car when the jack slipped and the car fell on him. Lauren, a 22-year-old, reportedly heroically lifted the 3,300-pound car enough to pull him from underneath! Then she kept him alive with CPR until the paramedics arrived. Far greater than Lauren¡¯s rescue of her father from the jaws of death is Jesus¡¯ rescue of us from the clutches of sin by His death and resurrection. When Jesus sent the 12 disciples to carry out His work, He gave them the assignment to preach the good news of God¡¯s desire to rescue people (Luke 9:1-6). They would not carry this out in their own strength, but Jesus would lift the heavy burden of people¡¯s sin as they taught about Him. Their preaching and healing in Jesus¡¯ power and authority proved that Jesus had actually brought God¡¯s rule to earth. Many today are trapped under the weight of sin, but our great God can rescue us from underneath those burdens and then send us into the world to tell others that He can set them free. — Marvin Williams		[ 누가복음 9:1 - 9:6 ] - 찬송가 260 장 제자들이 나가 각 마을에 두루 다니며 곳곳에 복음을 전하며 병을 고치더라 - 누가복음 9:6 로렌 코어내키는 그 해 여름 심폐소생술(CPR)을 배우게 되어 기뻤지만, 그것을 조만간 사랑하는 누군가를 위해 사용하게 될 줄은 꿈에도 생각지 못했을 것입니다. 그녀의 아버지가 차를 수리하는 중 받침대가 미끄러져 차가 아버지를 덮쳤던 것입니다. 들리는 바에 의하면, 22살인 로렌이 초인적인 힘으로 1.5톤의 차를 들어 올려 차 밑에 깔린 아버지를 끌어냈다고 합니다! 그러고 나서 응급구조원들이 도착할 때까지 심폐소생술로 아버지의 생명을 유지시켰습니다. 로렌이 죽음의 문턱에서 아버지를 구조한 것보다 훨씬 더 위대한 일은 예수님이 죽음과 부활로 우리를 죄의 사슬에서 구원해주신 것입니다. 예수님은 주님의 사역을 위해 열두 제자를 파송하실 때, 그들에게 사람들을 구원하시고자 하는 하나님의 열망에 대한 복음을 전하는 임무를 부여하셨습니다(눅 9:1-6). 제자들이 자신들의 능력만으로는 이 임무를 수행하지 못했겠지만, 제자들이 예수님에 대해 가르칠 때 사람들이 진 무거운 죄의 짐을 예수님이 제거해주셨습니다. 제자들이 예수님의 능력과 권위로 말씀을 가르치고 병을 고침으로써, 그들은 예수님을 통해 하나님의 통치가 실제로 세상에 임했음을 증명해보였습니다. 오늘날 많은 사람들이 죄의 무게에 눌려있습니다. 그러나 위대하신 하나님은 우리를 그 무거운 짐 아래에서 구원하시고, 우리를 세상에 보내셔서 하나님이 사람들을 자유롭게 한다는 사실을 그들에게 알리도록 하셨습니다.

Those who¡¯ve been rescued from sin are best able to help in the rescue of others.

Luke 9:1-6

[1] Then He called His twelve disciples together and gave them power and authority over all demons, and to cure diseases.
[2] He sent them to preach the kingdom of God and to heal the sick.
[3] And He said to them, "Take nothing for the journey, neither staffs nor bag nor bread nor money; and do not have two tunics apiece.
[4] "Whatever house you enter, stay there, and from there depart.
[5] "And whoever will not receive you, when you go out of that city, shake off the very dust from your feet as a testimony against them."
[6] So they departed and went through the towns, preaching the gospel and healing everywhere.

[2] 하나님의 나라를 전파하며 앓는 자를 고치게 하려고 내보내시며
[3] 이르시되 여행을 위하여 아무 것도 가지지 말라 지팡이나 배낭이나 양식이나 돈이나 두 벌 옷을 가지지 말며
[4] 어느 집에 들어가든지 거기서 머물다가 거기서 떠나라
[5] 누구든지 너희를 영접하지 아니하거든 그 성에서 떠날 때에 너희 발에서 먼지를 떨어 버려 그들에게 증거를 삼으라 하시니
[6] 제자들이 나가 각 마을에 두루 다니며 곳곳에 복음을 전하며 병을 고치더라
