We Can Trust Him		신뢰할 수 있는 하나님
[ Matthew 10:32 - 10:38 ] - hymn 36 Bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who ... persecute you. — Matthew 5:44 I know very little about persecution. My physical well-being has never been threatened because of what I believe or what I say. What little I ¡°know¡± about the subject comes from what I hear and read. But that is not true for many of our brothers and sisters around the world. Some of them live in danger every day simply because they love Jesus and want others to know Him too. There is another form of persecution that may not be life-threatening, but it is heartbreaking. It¡¯s the persecution that comes from non-Christian family members. When loved ones ridicule our faith and mock us for what we believe and how we express our love for God, we feel rejected and unloved. Paul warned believers that following Jesus would result in persecution: ¡°All who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution¡± (2 Tim.3:12), and we know that sometimes rejection will come from those we love (Matt.10:34-36). But when people we love reject the God we love, the rejection feels personal. Jesus told us to pray for those who persecute us (Matt.5:44), and that includes more than strangers who hate us. God is able to give us grace to persevere through persecution even when it comes from those we love.		[ 마태복음 10:32 - 10:38 ] - 찬송가 36 장 너희 원수를 사랑하며 너희를 박해하는 자를 위하여 기도하라 - 마태복음 5:44 나는 핍박에 대해 별로 아는 것이 없습니다. 나의 믿음이나 언행으로 인해 위협을 받아본 적이 없기 때문입니다. 그나마 내가 핍박에 대해 조금 “알고” 있다면, 그것은 어디서 들었거나 아니면 읽어서 아는 것입니다. 그러나 전 세계에 퍼져있는 많은 믿음의 형제자매들의 경우에는 그렇지 않습니다. 그들 중 어떤 이들은 단지 그들이 예수님을 사랑하고 다른 사람들에게 예수님을 전하기를 원한다는 이유 때문에 하루하루를 위험 속에서 살고 있습니다. 생명에 위협이 되는 것은 아니지만, 또 다른 형태의 가슴 아픈 핍박이 있습니다. 그것은 믿지 않는 가족들로부터 받는 핍박입니다. 사랑하는 가족들이 우리의 신앙을 비웃으며 우리의 믿음과 하나님에 대한 사랑의 표현을 조롱할 때, 우리는 버림받고 사랑받지 못하는 느낌을 갖게 됩니다. 바울은 예수님을 따르는 신자들이 핍박을 받을 것이라고 경고했습니다. “무릇 그리스도 예수 안에서 경건하게 살고자 하는 자는 박해를 받으리라”(딤후 3:12). 그리고 우리는 때때로 우리가 사랑하는 사람들로부터 배척을 당할 것이라는 것도 압니다(마 10:34-36). 하지만 우리가 사랑하는 사람들이 우리가 사랑하는 하나님을 배척할 때, 그것은 마치 나를 배척하는 것 같습니다. 예수님이 우리를 박해하는 사람들을 위해 기도하라고 하셨는데(마 5:44), 우리를 증오하는 낯선 사람들만 이에 해당되는 것이 아닙니다. 하나님은 우리에게 은혜를 주셔서 비록 우리가 사랑하는 사람들에게서 핍박을 받더라도 잘 참고 감당할 수 있도록 해주실 것입니다.

People may mock our message but they can¡¯t stop our prayers.

Matthew 10:32-38

[32] "Whoever acknowledges me before men, I will also acknowledge him before my Father in heaven.
[33] But whoever disowns me before men, I will disown him before my Father in heaven.
[34] "Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword.
[35] For I have come to turn "'a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law--
[36] a man's enemies will be the members of his own household.'
[37] "Anyone who loves his father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves his son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me;
[38] and anyone who does not take his cross and follow me is not worthy of me.

주님, 우리에게 은혜를 허락하사
우리를 핍박하는 자들을 위해 기도하게 하소서
그들이 깨달을 수 있는 방법으로
사랑을 베풀 수 있도록 가르쳐주소서

사람들이 우리의 복음은 조롱할 수 있을지 몰라도
우리의 기도는 막을 수는 없다.

마태복음 10:32-38

[32] 누구든지 사람 앞에서 나를 시인하면 나도 하늘에 계신 내 아버지 앞에서 그를 시인할 것이요
[33] 누구든지 사람 앞에서 나를 부인하면 나도 하늘에 계신 내 아버지 앞에서 그를 부인하리라
[34] 내가 세상에 화평을 주러 온 줄로 생각하지 말라 화평이 아니요 검을 주러 왔노라
[35] 내가 온 것은 사람이 그 아버지와, 딸이 어머니와, 며느리가 시어머니와 불화하게 하려 함이니
[36] 사람의 원수가 자기 집안 식구리라
[37] 아버지나 어머니를 나보다 더 사랑하는 자는 내게 합당하지 아니하고 아들이나 딸을 나보다 더 사랑하는 자도 내게 합당하지 아니하며
[38] 또 자기 십자가를 지고 나를 따르지 않는 자도 내게 합당하지 아니하니라
