HARVEST DAY		추수하는 날
[ Galatians 6:1 - 6:10 ] - hymn 496 Whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. -Galatians 6:7 One autumn afternoon I drove past a field where a farmer had parked some massive machinery by the side of the road. A yellow caution sign read: ¡°Harvest in Progress.¡± As I glanced over at the field, I knew instantly what the farmer had planted several months ago-tiny kernels of corn. I knew this because he was preparing to drive his harvesting equipment through acres of mature cornstalks. While it may seem obvious that planting corn leads to harvesting corn, we sometimes deny the relationship between sowing and reaping in our spiritual lives. The apostle Paul wrote, ¡°Do not be deceived ... ; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap¡±(Gal.6:7). Living to please our flesh yields corruption in the form of wanting what isn¡¯t ours, self-centeredness, and even substance abuse (5:19-21). Walking with the Spirit produces peace, kindness, and self-control (5:22-23). By God¡¯s grace, we can choose to ¡°sow to the Spirit¡± and reap eternal life (6:8). Suppose Jesus declared today ¡°harvest day¡± in our lives, and He asked us to gather up the yield of our everyday choices over the past year. What would we have to show Him? - Jennifer Benson Schuldt		[ 갈라디아서 6:1 - 6:10 ] - 찬송가 496 장 사람이 무엇으로 심든지 그대로 거두리라 - 갈라디아서 6:7 어느 가을 날 오후, 차를 운전하면서 농부가 길가에 육중한 농기계들을 주차시켜놓은 어느 들판을 지나가게 되었습니다. 노란색 주의표지판에는 “추수 중”이라고 쓰여 있었습니다. 들판을 쳐다보니, 농부가 몇 달 전에 거기에 작은 옥수수 씨앗들을 심었다는 것을 금방 알 수 있었습니다. 농부가 추수장비들을 운전해서 그 넓은 들판의 다 자란 옥수수를 거두어들일 준비를 하고 있었기 때문입니다. 옥수수를 심으면 옥수수를 거둔다는 것이 분명해 보이는데, 우리는 영적 삶에서 심은 대로 거둔다는 그 관계를 때로는 거부합니다. 바울사도는 “스스로 속이지 말라...사람이 무엇으로 심든지 그대로 거두리라”(갈 6:7)라고 기록했습니다. 육체의 쾌락을 위해 살면 부패하여 남의 것을 탐하거나 자기중심적이 되고, 심지어 마약에 중독되기까지 합니다(5:19-21). 그러나 성령님과 동행하는 삶을 살면 화평과 친절과 절제의 열매를 거두게 됩니다(5:22-23). 하나님의 은혜로 우리는 “성령님을 위하여 심는” 삶을 선택하여 영생을 거둘 수 있습니다(6:8). 예수님이 오늘을 우리 인생의 “추수하는 날”로 선언하시고, 지난해 동안 매일 삶속에서 선택하여 뿌린 것의 열매들을 모아서 가져오라고 하신다면, 우리는 주님께 무엇을 보여드릴 수 있을까요?

The seeds we sow today determine
the kind of fruit we¡¯ll reap tomorrow.

Galatians 6:1-10

[1] Brothers, if someone is caught in a sin, you who are spiritual should restore him gently. But watch yourself, or you also may be tempted.
[2] Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.
[3] If anyone thinks he is something when he is nothing, he deceives himself.
[4] Each one should test his own actions. Then he can take pride in himself, without comparing himself to somebody else,
[5] for each one should carry his own load.
[6] Anyone who receives instruction in the word must share all good things with his instructor.
[7] Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.
[8] The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.
[9] Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
[10] Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.

세상 것들이 자주 제 마음을 유혹하지만
주님, 그럴 때마다 시작할 때 끝을 볼 수 있게 도와주소서
제 눈을 열어서, 제 삶이 어디로 가는지
제가 심은 것으로 무엇을 거두게 될지를 보게 하소서

우리가 오늘 심는 씨앗이
내일 수확하게 될 열매의 종류를 결정한다.

갈라디아서 6:1-10

[1] 형제들아 사람이 만일 무슨 범죄한 일이 드러나거든 신령한 너희는 온유한 심령으로 그러한 자를 바로잡고 너 자신을 살펴보아 너도 시험을 받을까 두려워하라
[2] 너희가 짐을 서로 지라 그리하여 그리스도의 법을 성취하라
[3] 만일 누가 아무 것도 되지 못하고 된 줄로 생각하면 스스로 속임이라
[4] 각각 자기의 일을 살피라 그리하면 자랑할 것이 자기에게는 있어도 남에게는 있지 아니하리니
[5] 각각 자기의 짐을 질 것이라
[6] 가르침을 받는 자는 말씀을 가르치는 자와 모든 좋은 것을 함께 하라
[7] 스스로 속이지 말라 하나님은 업신여김을 받지 아니하시나니 사람이 무엇으로 심든지 그대로 거두리라
[8] 자기의 육체를 위하여 심는 자는 육체로부터 썩어질 것을 거두고 성령을 위하여 심는 자는 성령으로부터 영생을 거두리라
[9] 우리가 선을 행하되 낙심하지 말지니 포기하지 아니하면 때가 이르매 거두리라
[10] 그러므로 우리는 기회 있는 대로 모든 이에게 착한 일을 하되 더욱 믿음의 가정들에게 할지니라
