GOD¡¯S WHEELCHAIR		하나님의 휠체어
[ Psalms 46:1 - 46:11 ] - hymn 545 His throne was a fiery flame, its wheels a burning fire. -Daniel 7:9 Jean Driscoll is a remarkable athlete. She has won the Boston Marathon eight times. She has also participated in four Paralympic Games and won five gold medals. Born with spina bifida, Jean competes in a wheelchair. One of Driscoll¡¯s favorite Bible verses is Daniel 7:9, ¡°The Ancient of Days was seated ... His throne was a fiery flame, its wheels a burning fire.¡± Seeing a connection between Daniel¡¯s vision of God and her own situation, she is able to pass along words of encouragement to others. ¡°Anytime I¡¯ve had an opportunity to talk with people who use wheelchairs and feel bad about being in a chair, I tell them, ¡®Not only are you made in the image of God, but your wheelchair is made in the image of His throne!¡¯¡± Daniel¡¯s vision, of course, doesn¡¯t portray God as being impaired in motion. In fact, some see God¡¯s ¡°wheelchair¡± as a symbol of a just God sovereignly moving within human affairs. Other passages speak of God¡¯s providence providing help to those who believe(Prov. 3:25-26; Matt. 20:29-34; Eph. 1:11). Jean Driscoll¡¯s faith in God has helped her triumph over personal challenges. Psalm 46:1-11

[1] To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of the sons of Korah. A Song for Alamoth. God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble.
[2] Therefore we will not fear, Even though the earth be removed, And though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;
[3] Though its waters roar and be troubled, Though the mountains shake with its swelling. Selah
[4] There is a river whose streams shall make glad the city of God, The holy place of the tabernacle of the Most High.
[5] God is in the midst of her, she shall not be moved; God shall help her, just at the break of dawn.
[6] The nations raged, the kingdoms were moved; He uttered His voice, the earth melted.
[7] The LORD of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah
[8] Come, behold the works of the LORD, Who has made desolations in the earth.
[9] He makes wars cease to the end of the earth; He breaks the bow and cuts the spear in two; He burns the chariot in the fire.
[10] Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!
[11] The LORD of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah

신실하신 하나님은 실패하지 않으시네
그분의 전능하심으로 우리를 지켜주시네
그러니 어려운 일이 닥치더라도 재난을 두려워 말라
하나님이 매 순간 확실히 도우실 것이니

하나님이 내 뒤에서 팔로 나를 붙잡고 손으로 내 발을 받치고
계신다면 앞에 놓인 어떤 일도 용감히 맞설 수 있다.

시편 46:1-11

[1] 하나님은 우리의 피난처시요 힘이시니 환난 중에 만날 큰 도움이시라
[2] 그러므로 땅이 변하든지 산이 흔들려 바다 가운데에 빠지든지
[3] 바닷물이 솟아나고 뛰놀든지 그것이 넘침으로 산이 흔들릴지라도 우리는 두려워하지 아니하리로다 (셀라)
[4] 한 시내가 있어 나뉘어 흘러 하나님의 성 곧 지존하신 이의 성소를 기쁘게 하도다
[5] 하나님이 그 성 중에 계시매 성이 흔들리지 아니할 것이라 새벽에 하나님이 도우시리로다
[6] 뭇 나라가 떠들며 왕국이 흔들렸더니 그가 소리를 내시매 땅이 녹았도다

[8] 와서 여호와의 행적을 볼지어다 그가 땅을 황무지로 만드셨도다
[9] 그가 땅 끝까지 전쟁을 쉬게 하심이여 활을 꺾고 창을 끊으며 수레를 불사르시는도다
[10] 이르시기를 너희는 가만히 있어 내가 하나님 됨을 알지어다 내가 뭇 나라 중에서 높임을 받으리라 내가 세계 중에서 높임을 받으리라 하시도다
