Before You Ask		구하기 전에
[ Matthew 6:5 - 6:15 ] - hymn 393 Your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him. — Matthew 6:8 An RBC Ministries international colleague shared with me her delight in serving as a translator of biblical resources. She said that she feels greatly blessed because she has the first opportunity to be ministered to by the teaching of God¡¯s Word in the materials. As she works through them, she notes, ¡°There is always something that addresses a need I¡¯m facing.¡± Precisely when she needs encouragement from her Lord, relevant biblical help is provided. As she spoke, I thought of how our God faithfully cares for us in numerous ways. In the different seasons of life, we find ourselves facing all sorts of challenges—but we do not face them on our own. As Christ said, ¡°Your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him¡± (Matt. 6:8). In our time of need—whether spiritual, emotional, or physical—we can depend on the faithful care and concern of the Father. He knows us so well that He chooses the perfect time to give us what is best and to send reassurance of His care. ¡°Not one [sparrow] is forgotten before God. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear ... ; you are of more value than many sparrows¡± (Luke 12:6-7). We can trust the wisdom of His love.		[ 마태복음 6:5 - 6:15 ] - 찬송가 393 장 구하기 전에 너희에게 있어야 할 것을 하나님 너희 아버지께서 아시느니라 - 마태복음 6:8 RBC 교회의 한 국제 동역자가 성경자료 번역가로 섬기는 기쁨을 나와 나누었습니다. 그녀는 자료에 있는 하나님의 말씀이 주는 교훈을 통해 자신이 먼저 주님의 가르침을 받는 것이 큰 축복이라고 말했습니다. 그 일로 섬기면서 그녀는 “그 안에는 항상 나 자신의 필요에 맞는 무언가가 있다.”라는 것을 알게 된다고 합니다. 주님의 격려가 필요한 바로 그 순간에 적절한 성경적 도움이 주어진다는 것입니다. 그녀의 얘기를 들으며 우리의 하나님께서 얼마나 신실하게 여러 모습으로 우리를 돌보시는가를 생각했습니다. 인생의 계절이 바뀔 때마다 우리는 온갖 도전을 받게 되지만, 우리는 홀로 그 도전에 맞서는 것이 아닙니다. 그리스도께서 말씀하셨습니다. “구하기 전에 너희에게 있어야 할 것을 하나님 너희 아버지께서 아시느니라”(마 6:8). 영적이든, 감정적이든, 혹은 육체적이든 도움이 필요한 순간에 우리는 하나님 아버지의 신실하신 관심과 돌보심에 의지할 수 있습니다. 그분은 우리를 너무나 잘 아셔서 우리에게 최선의 것을 주시며 자신이 돌보고 계신다는 확신을 주실 완벽한 때를 선택하십니다. “하나님 앞에는 그 하나도 잊어버리시는 바 되지 아니하는도다 너희에게는 심지어 머리털까지도 다 세신 바 되었나니 두려워하지 말라 너희는 많은 참새보다 더 귀하니라”(눅 12:6-7). 우리는 주님의 사랑의 지혜를 신뢰할 수 있습니다.

God¡¯s timing is always right.

Matthew 6:5-15

[5] "And when you pray, you shall not be like the hypocrites. For they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward.
[6] "But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.
[7] "And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words.
[8] "Therefore do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him.
[9] "In this manner, therefore, pray£º Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name.
[10] Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven.
[11] Give us this day our daily bread.
[12] And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors.
[13] And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
[14] "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
[15] "But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

주님이 주시는 은혜가 내 마음에 넘치네
내게 꼭 필요한 바로 그것이었기에
어떤 일이든지, 어떤 짐을 내가 지든지
그것이 내가 바라는 모든 것이라네

하나님의 때는 언제나 정확하다.

마태복음 6:5-15

[5] 또 너희가 기도할 때에 외식하는 자와 같이 되지 말라 저희는 사람에게 보이려고 회당과 큰 거리 어귀에 서서 기도하기를 좋아하느니라 내가 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 저희는 자기 상을 이미 받았느니라
[6] 너는 기도할 때에 네 골방에 들어가 문을 닫고 은밀한 중에 계신 네 아버지께 기도하라 은밀한 중에 보시는 네 아버지께서 갚으시리라
[7] 또 기도할 때에 이방인과 같이 중언부언하지 말라 저희는 말을 많이 하여야 들으실 줄 생각하느니라
[8] 그러므로 저희를 본받지 말라 구하기 전에 너희에게 있어야 할 것을 하나님 너희 아버지께서 아시느니라
[9] 그러므로 너희는 이렇게 기도하라 하늘에 계신 우리 아버지여 이름이 거룩히 여김을 받으시오며
[10] 나라이 임하옵시며 뜻이 하늘에서 이룬 것 같이 땅에서도 이루어지이다
[11] 오늘날 우리에게 일용할 양식을 주옵시고
[12] 우리가 우리에게 죄 지은 자를 사하여 준 것 같이 우리 죄를 사하여 주옵시고
[13] 우리를 시험에 들게 하지 마옵시고 다만 악에서 구하옵소서 (나라와 권세와 영광이 아버지께 영원히 있사옵나이다 아멘)
[14] 너희가 사람의 과실을 용서하면 너희 천부께서도 너희 과실을 용서하시려니와
[15] 너희가 사람의 과실을 용서하지 아니하면 너희 아버지께서도 너희 과실을 용서하지 아니하시리라
