[ 1 Corinthians 12:12 - 12:27 ] - hymn 218 Those members of the body which seem to be weaker are necessary. - 1 Corinthians 12:22 The number of people who run a business out of their homes is in the millions. But some have found that working alone can be a little too lonely. To give these lonely ones a community, "co-working" spaces have been designed. Large facilities are rented out where people working by themselves can share space with others. They have their own work area but can exchange ideas with fellow independent workers. It's for those who feel they can work better together than they do alone. Sometimes Christians think they work better alone. But we are meant to work together with others in the church. Every Christian has been placed into "the body of Christ"(1 Cor. 12:27). And the Lord desires that we take part in fel-lowship with a local community of believers-using our spiritual gifts and working together in His service. Yet for various reasons, some aren't able to join in. Because of health issues, they may be shut in at home or may not know how to fit in at church. Yet they are a needed part of the body (vv.22-25). That's when others can meet their need for togetherness. Let's do our part so that others may feel they're an integral part of the community of faith. What can you do to help others feel a part of your church
community? Visit, pray with them, read Scripture together,
drop a note, or invite them to join you in serving others.

Fellowship builds us up and binds us together.

1 Corinthians 12:12-27

[12] For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ.
[13] For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body--whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free--and have all been made to drink into one Spirit.
[14] For in fact the body is not one member but many.
[15] If the foot should say, "Because I am not a hand, I am not of the body," is it therefore not of the body?
[16] And if the ear should say, "Because I am not an eye, I am not of the body," is it therefore not of the body?
[17] If the whole body were an eye, where would be the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where would be the smelling?
[18] But now God has set the members, each one of them, in the body just as He pleased.
[19] And if they were all one member, where would the body be?
[20] But now indeed there are many members, yet one body.
[21] And the eye cannot say to the hand, "I have no need of you"; nor again the head to the feet, "I have no need of you."
[22] No, much rather, those members of the body which seem to be weaker are necessary.
[23] And those members of the body which we think to be less honorable, on these we bestow greater honor; and our unpresentable parts have greater modesty,
[24] but our presentable parts have no need. But God composed the body, having given greater honor to that part which lacks it,
[25] that there should be no schism in the body, but that the members should have the same care for one another.
[26] And if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; or if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it.
[27] Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually.

생각해봅시다
다른 사람들이 교회의 일부라고 느끼도록 하기 위해
당신은 무엇을 할 수 있습니까? 집을 방문하거나, 그들과 함께 기도하거나,
함께 성경을 읽거나, 간단한 편지를 보내거나,
아니면 다른 사람들을 섬기는 일에 함께하자고 초대하십시오.

고린도전서 12:12-27

[12] 몸은 하나인데 많은 지체가 있고 몸의 지체가 많으나 한 몸임과 같이 그리스도도 그러하니라
[13] 우리가 유대인이나 헬라인이나 종이나 자유자나 다 한 성령으로 세례를 받아 한 몸이 되었고 또 다 한 성령을 마시게 하셨느니라
[14] 몸은 한 지체뿐 아니요 여럿이니
[15] 만일 발이 이르되 나는 손이 아니니 몸에 붙지 아니하였다 할지라도 이로 인하여 몸에 붙지 아니한 것이 아니요
[16] 또 귀가 이르되 나는 눈이 아니니 몸에 붙지 아니하였다 할지라도 이로 인하여 몸에 붙지 아니한 것이 아니니
[17] 만일 온 몸이 눈이면 듣는 곳은 어디며 온 몸이 듣는 곳이면 냄새 맡는 곳은 어디뇨
[18] 그러나 이제 하나님이 그 원하시는 대로 지체를 각각 몸에 두셨으니
[19] 만일 다 한 지체뿐이면 몸은 어디뇨
[20] 이제 지체는 많으나 몸은 하나라
[21] 눈이 손더러 내가 너를 쓸 데 없다 하거나 또한 머리가 발더러 내가 너를 쓸 데 없다 하거나 하지 못하리라
[22] 이뿐 아니라 몸의 더 약하게 보이는 지체가 도리어 요긴하고
[23] 우리가 몸의 덜 귀히 여기는 그것들을 더욱 귀한 것들로 입혀 주며 우리의 아름답지 못한 지체는 더욱 아름다운 것을 얻고
[24] 우리의 아름다운 지체는 요구할 것이 없으니 오직 하나님이 몸을 고르게 하여 부족한 지체에게 존귀를 더하사
[25] 몸 가운데서 분쟁이 없고 오직 여러 지체가 서로 같이하여 돌아보게 하셨으니
[26] 만일 한 지체가 고통을 받으면 모든 지체도 함께 고통을 받고 한 지체가 영광을 얻으면 모든 지체도 함께 즐거워하나니
[27] 너희는 그리스도의 몸이요 지체의 각 부분이라
