[ Psalms 27:1 - 27:10 ] - hymn 394 When my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take care of me. - Psalm 27:10 Years ago, when I was a student at the University of California at Berkeley, I developed a friendship with a fellow student who had suf-fered a terrible loss. His child had died and his wife had left him because she couldn't deal with the pain. One day, as my friend and I were walking down the street, we found ourselves behind a disheveled mother with a grubby little boy in hand. She was angry at the child and was walk-ing much too fast, towing him at a pace his little legs couldn't maintain. We reached a busy intersection where the child abruptly stopped and his hand slipped out of his mother's grasp. She turned around, spat out a curse, and trudged on. The little boy sat down on the curb and burst into tears. Without a moment's hesitation, my friend sat down next to him and gathered the little guy in his arms. The woman turned and, looking at the child, began to curse again. My friend sighed and looked up. "Lady," he said softly, "If you don't want him, I'll take him." So it is with our Father in heaven. He too has known great loss and loves us just as tenderly. Even if our friends and family forsake us, our God never will (Ps.27:10). We are ever in His care. - David Roper		[ 시편 27:1 - 27:10 ] - 찬송가 394 장 내 부모는 나를 버렸으나 여호와는 나를 영접 하시리이다 - 시편 27:10 오래전 캘리포니아의 버클리대학 학생이었을 때, 나는 끔찍한 상실로 고통 받고 있던 한 학생과 친구가 되었습니다. 그의 아이가 죽자, 그 고통을 견디지 못하던 아내마저 그를 떠나버렸던 것입니다. 하루는 그 친구와 거리를 걷다가, 흐트러진 옷차림의 여인이 앞에서 더러운 어린 아들의 손을 잡고 걸어가는 것을 보게 되었습니다. 그 여인은 아이에게 화를 내며, 아이의 짧은 다리로는 따라갈 수 없을 정도로 아이를 잡아끌며 아주 빨리 걸어가고 있었습니다. 복잡한 사거리에서 갑자기 그 아이가 걸음을 멈추면서 엄마의 손을 놓쳤습니다. 그 여인은 돌아서서 욕설을 퍼부으며 계속 터벅터벅 걸어갔습니다. 그 아이는 보도턱에 주저앉아서 울음을 터뜨렸습니다. 내 친구는 조금도 망설이지 않고 그 아이 옆에 앉아서 그 아이를 팔로 안아주었습니다. 그 여인은 돌아서서 아이를 쳐다보며 다시 욕을 해댔습니다. 그 친구는 한숨을 내쉬고 올려다보면서, “부인, 아이가 싫으면 내가 데려가겠소.”라고 조용히 말했습니다. 이게 바로 하늘에 계신 우리 아버지 마음입니다. 그분도 역시 커다란 상실을 경험하셨으며, 마찬가지로 부드럽게 우리를 사랑하십니다. 비록 우리의 친구나 가족은 우리를 버릴지라도, 우리 하나님은 절대로 우리를 버리지 않으십니다(시 27:10). 우리는 영원히 그분의 돌보심 안에 있습니다.

I love to dwell upon the thought
That Jesus cares for me,
It matters not what life may bring-

If God cares for sparrows, He surely cares for us.

Psalm 27:1-10

[1] A Psalm of David. The LORD is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid?
[2] When the wicked came against me To eat up my flesh, My enemies and foes, They stumbled and fell.
[3] Though an army may encamp against me, My heart shall not fear; Though war should rise against me, In this I will be confident.
[4] One thing I have desired of the LORD, That will I seek£º That I may dwell in the house of the LORD All the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the LORD, And to inquire in His temple.
[5] For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion; In the secret place of His tabernacle He shall hide me; He shall set me high upon a rock.
[6] And now my head shall be lifted up above my enemies all around me; Therefore I will offer sacrifices of joy in His tabernacle; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the LORD.
[7] Hear, O LORD, when I cry with my voice! Have mercy also upon me, and answer me.
[8] When You said, "Seek My face," My heart said to You, "Your face, LORD, I will seek."
[9] Do not hide Your face from me; Do not turn Your servant away in anger; You have been my help; Do not leave me nor forsake me, O God of my salvation.
[10] When my father and my mother forsake me, Then the LORD will take care of me.

예수님이 나를 돌보신다는
그 생각에 나는 잠기고 싶네
내 삶에 무엇이 닥쳐도 상관이 없네
주님이 나를 포근히 사랑하시기 때문이라네

참새도 돌보시는 하나님이시라면,
하나님은 분명 우리도 돌보신다.

시편 27:1-10

[1] [다윗의 시] 여호와는 나의 빛이요 나의 구원이시니 내가 누구를 두려워하리요 여호와는 내 생명의 능력이시니 내가 누구를 무서워하리요
[2] 나의 대적, 나의 원수된 행악자가 내 살을 먹으려고 내게로 왔다가 실족하여 넘어졌도다
[3] 군대가 나를 대적하여 진 칠지라도 내 마음이 두렵지 아니하며 전쟁이 일어나 나를 치려 할지라도 내가 오히려 안연하리로다
[4] 내가 여호와께 청하였던 한 가지 일 곧 그것을 구하리니 곧 나로 내 생전에 여호와의 집에 거하여 여호와의 아름다움을 앙망하며 그 전에서 사모하게 하실 것이라
[5] 여호와께서 환난 날에 나를 그 초막 속에 비밀히 지키시고 그 장막 은밀한 곳에 나를 숨기시며 바위 위에 높이 두시리로다
[6] 이제 내 머리가 나를 두른 내 원수 위에 들리리니 내가 그 장막에서 즐거운 제사를 드리겠고 노래하여 여호와를 찬송하리로다
[7] 여호와여 내가 소리로 부르짖을 때에 들으시고 또한 나를 긍휼히 여기사 응답하소서
[8] 너희는 내 얼굴을 찾으라 하실 때에 내 마음이 주께 말하되 여호와여 내가 주의 얼굴을 찾으리이다 하였나이다
[9] 주의 얼굴을 내게서 숨기지 마시고 주의 종을 노하여 버리지 마소서 주는 나의 도움이 되셨나이다 나의 구원의 하나님이시여 나를 버리지 말고 떠나지 마옵소서
[10] 내 부모는 나를 버렸으나 여호와는 나를 영접하시리이다
