[ Psalms 98:1 - 98:9 ] - hymn 98 Shout joyfully to the Lord, all the earth; break forth in song, rejoice, and sing praises. —Psalm 98:4 The psalmists had an advantage in praise because of their closer tie to the natural world. David began life outdoors as a shepherd, then spent years hiding in the rocky terrain of Israel. Not surprisingly, a great love, even reverence, for the natural world shines through many of his poems. The psalms present a world that fits together as a whole, with everything upheld by a personal God watching over it. Wilderness announces to our senses the splendor of an invisible, untamable God. How can we not offer praise to the One who dreamed up porcupines and elk, who splashed bright-green aspen trees across hillsides of gray rock, who transforms the same landscape into a work of art with every blizzard? The world, in the psalmist¡¯s imagination, cannot contain the delight God inspires. ¡°Shout joyfully to the Lord, all the earth; break forth in song, rejoice, and sing praises¡±(Ps.98:4). Nature itself joins in: ¡°Let the rivers clap their hands; let the hills be joyful together before the Lord¡±(v.8). The psalms wonderfully solve the problem of a praise-deficient culture by providing the necessary words. We merely need to enter into those words, letting God use the psalms to realign our inner attitudes.		[ 시편 98:1 - 98:9 ] - 찬송가 98 장 온 땅이여 여호와께 즐거이 소리칠지어다 소리 내어 즐겁게 노래하며 찬송할지어다- 시편 98:4 시편기자들은 자연 세계에 더 가까이 접하고 있어서 찬양에 유리했었습니다.. 다윗은 양치는 목자로 들판에서의 생활을 시작했고, 수년간 이스라엘의 바위투성이 지역에 숨어 살았기 때문에, 그의 많은 시편 속에 자연계에 대한 깊은 애정과, 심지어 경의의 표현까지 들어 있는 것이 그리 놀랍지 않습니다. 시편은 인격적인 하나님이 보호하시고 유지하고 계시는 모든 것이 전체적으로 조화를 이루며 하나로 어우러진 세상을 표현하고 있습니다. 자연은 보이지도 않고 꾸밈도 없는 하나님의 광채를 우리의 감각에 알려줍니다. 고슴도치와 사슴을 생각해내신 하나님, 회색 바위언덕의 허리를 가로질러 찬란한 초록색 사시나무를 흩으시는 하나님, 똑같은 풍경을 눈보라 하나하나로 예술작품으로 승화시키시는 그런 하나님을 어떻게 찬양하지 않을 수 있겠습니까? 시편기자의 상상 속에서 세상은 하나님이 영감으로 주시는 기쁨을 억누르지를 못합니다. “온 땅이여 여호와께 즐거이 소리칠지어다 소리 내어 즐겁게 노래하며 찬송할지어다”(시 98:4). 자연도 찬양에 동참합니다. “여호와 앞에서 큰물은 박수할지어다. 산악이 함께 즐겁게 노래할지어다”(8절). 시편은 찬양에 필요한 여러 말씀들을 제공해줌으로써 찬양이 부족한 이 문화가 갖는 문제를 훌륭하게 해결해줍니다. 우리는 단지 그말씀들 속으로 들어가, 하나님이 시편을 통해 우리 내면의 자세를 재조정하시도록 맡기기만 하면 됩니다.

In praise, the creature happily acknowledges that everything good comes from the Creator.

Psalm 98:1-9

[1] A Psalm. Oh, sing to the LORD a new song! For He has done marvelous things; His right hand and His holy arm have gained Him the victory.
[2] The LORD has made known His salvation; His righteousness He has revealed in the sight of the nations.
[3] He has remembered His mercy and His faithfulness to the house of Israel; All the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.
[4] Shout joyfully to the LORD, all the earth; Break forth in song, rejoice, and sing praises.
[5] Sing to the LORD with the harp, With the harp and the sound of a psalm,
[6] With trumpets and the sound of a horn; Shout joyfully before the LORD, the King.
[7] Let the sea roar, and all its fullness, The world and those who dwell in it;
[8] Let the rivers clap their hands; Let the hills be joyful together before the LORD,
[9] For He is coming to judge the earth. With righteousness He shall judge the world, And the peoples with equity.

우리의 왕 하나님의 모든 창조물들아
함께 소리 높여 노래 부르자, 알렐루야! 알렐루야!
황금빛을 발하는 불타는 태양, 부드러운 미광의 은색 달이여!
오 주님을 찬양하라!

찬양 속에서, 창조물은 선한 모든 것들이
창조주로부터 온 것임을 즐거이 인식한다.

[1] [시] 새 노래로 여호와께 찬송하라 대저 기이한 일을 행하사 그 오른손과 거룩한 팔로 자기를 위하여 구원을 베푸셨도다
[2] 여호와께서 그 구원을 알게 하시며 그 의를 열방의 목전에 명백히 나타내셨도다
[3] 저가 이스라엘 집에 향하신 인자와 성실을 기억하셨으므로 땅의 모든 끝이 우리 하나님의 구원을 보았도다
[4] 온 땅이여 여호와께 즐거이 소리할지어다 소리를 발하여 즐거이 노래하며 찬송할지어다
[5] 수금으로 여호와를 찬양하라 수금과 음성으로 찬양할지어다
[6] 나팔과 호각으로 왕 여호와 앞에 즐거이 소리할지어다
[7] 바다와 거기 충만한 것과 그 중에 거하는 자는 다 외칠지어다
[8] 여호와 앞에서 큰 물이 박수하며 산악이 함께 즐거이 노래할지어다
[9] 저가 땅을 판단하려 임하실 것임이로다 저가 의로 세계를 판단하시며 공평으로 그 백성을 판단하시리로다
