YOU FOOL!		어리석은 당신!
[ Luke 12:16 - 12:21 ] - hymn 218 The fool has said in his heart, "There is no God." - Psalm 14:1 It seems to me rather contradictory that Jesus, who was so gentle at times (Matt.19:13-15), would call some people fools. Yet, as recorded in the Gospels a number of times, our Lord used this derogatory term to describe those He spoke about-especially the Pharisees (see Matt. 23:17-19; Luke 11:39-40). Jesus also used the word fool in a parable after warning a man about coveting (Luke 12:13-21). What made him foolish is not the fact that he built bigger barns to store his abundant harvest (vv.16-18). It would have been more foolish of him to leave it out in the fields where inclement weather would spoil it. Nor was he foolish because of his thought that this unex-pected windfall was enough to last him a long time (v.19). After all, we are urged to follow the example of the ant in "storing up" the harvest (Prov.6:6-8). What made the man foolish? He left God out of the pic-ture. He was called a fool because he failed to realize that his life was in God's hands. While he was planning carefully for his comfortable life on earth, he failed to plan for eter-nity and store up treasures in heaven (Matt.6:20). Does your plan for the future have God in it? You won't want to be called foolish by Him in the end. - C. P. Hia		[ 누가복음 12:16 - 12:21 ] - 찬송가 218 장 어리석은 자는 그의 마음에 이르기를 하나님이 없다 하는도다- 시편 14:1 어떤 때에는 한없이 온화하셨던 예수님이(마 19:13-15) 어떤 사람들을 가리켜 어리석다고 말씀하신 것은 다소 앞뒤가 맞지 않아 보입니다. 그러나 복음서에 여러 번 기록된 대로 주님은 어떤 이들, 특히 바리새인들에게 이런 경멸을 뜻하는 단어를 사용하셨습니다(마 23:17-19; 눅 11:39-40). 또 예수님은 한 남자에게 탐욕에 대하여 경고하신 후에 하신 비유 속에서 어리석다는 말을 사용하셨습니다(눅 12:13-21). 비유 속의 그 남자가 어리석다는 것은 풍요한 수확을 저장할 만한 큰 곳간을 지었기 때문이 아닙니다(16-18절). 들판에 수확한 것을 그냥 놔두고 궂은 날씨에 상하게 하였다면 더 어리석었을 것입니다. 또 그가 어리석다는 것은 기대하지 않았던 큰 수확이 자신을 오랫동안 먹여줄 수 있을 만큼 충분하다고 여겼기 때문도 아닙니다(19절). 무엇보다 우리는 수확을 “저장하여 쌓아가는” 개미를 본받을 것을 강력히 권고 받고 있습니다(잠 6:6-8). 그러면 무엇이 그를 어리석게 만들었을까요? 그의 청사진에는 하나님이 빠져 있었기 때문입니다. 어리석은 사람이라고 불린 것은 그의 생명이 하나님의 손 안에 있다는 것을 깨닫지 못했기 때문이었습니다. 그는 지상에서의 안락한 삶은 세심하게 계획했지만, 영생을 준비하고 천국에 보물을 쌓아두는 일에는 실패하였던 것입니다(마 6:20). 미래를 향한 당신의 계획에 하나님이 포함되어 있습니까? 마지막 날에 하나님이 어리석은 자라고 부르실 그런 사람이 되지 마십시오.

Luke 12:16-21

[16] Then He spoke a parable to them, saying£º "The ground of a certain rich man yielded plentifully.
[17] "And he thought within himself, saying, 'What shall I do, since I have no room to store my crops?'
[18] "So he said, 'I will do this£º I will pull down my barns and build greater, and there I will store all my crops and my goods.
[19] 'And I will say to my soul, "Soul, you have many goods laid up for many years; take your ease; eat, drink, and be merry."'
[20] "But God said to him, 'Fool! This night your soul will be required of you; then whose will those things be which you have provided?'
[21] "So is he who lays up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God."

오, 아직 기회가 있을 때 돌아서라
조금 지나면 너무 늦으리니
당신은 영광스러운 삶을
영원토록 누리게 되리라

잃을 수 없는 것을 얻기 위해 지킬 수 없는 것을 버리는 사람은
결코 어리석은 사람이 아니다.

[17] 심중에 생각하여 가로되 내가 곡식 쌓아 둘 곳이 없으니 어찌할꼬 하고
[18] 또 가로되 내가 이렇게 하리라 내 곡간을 헐고 더 크게 짓고 내 모든 곡식과 물건을 거기 쌓아 두리라
[19] 또 내가 내 영혼에게 이르되 영혼아 여러 해 쓸 물건을 많이 쌓아 두었으니 평안히 쉬고 먹고 마시고 즐거워하자 하리라 하되
[20] 하나님은 이르시되 어리석은 자여 오늘 밤에 네 영혼을 도로 찾으리니 그러면 네 예비한 것이 뉘 것이 되겠느냐 하셨으니
[21] 자기를 위하여 재물을 쌓아 두고 하나님께 대하여 부요치 못한 자가 이와 같으니라
