[ Psalms 119:97 - 119:104 ] - hymn 200 Oh, how I love Your law! It is my meditation all the day. - Psalm 119:97 BibleGateway, an online Bible resource, looked at the viewing habits of some of their 8 million monthly visitors. They found that John 3:16 was the most-searched-for verse in 2010. I don't think it's surprising that it would be number one on the list. It tells us that God loved us so much that He sent His Son to rescue us from our sin and give us everlasting life. Num-ber 10 on the list is Jesus' commission to His followers to spread that good news: "Go therefore and make disci-ples of all the nations"(Matt.28:19). Also in the top 10 are Jeremiah 29:11 and Romans 8:28 about God's good plans and purposes for His people. The Scriptures are filled with truths to search out and share. In Psalm 119, the longest chapter in the Bible, the psalmist shared his thoughts about the Word and his desire to search it and be taught by God. He said, "Oh, how I love Your law!"(v.97). Our Bible reading for today shows some of the psalmist's reasons for loving it: It gives him wisdom and understanding, it restrains his feet from evil, and it is sweet. Therefore, it's his meditation "all the day." Let's keep taking the time to read the Bible. The more we search the Word, the more we'll grow in our love for it and its Author (v.97). - Anne Cetas		[ 시편 119:97 - 119:104 ] - 찬송가 200 장 내가 주의 법을 어찌 그리 사랑하는지요 내가 그것을 종일 작은 소리로 읊조리나이다 - 시편 119:97 온라인으로 성경을 제공하는 바이블게이트웨이는 월 팔백만 명에 이르는 방문자 중 일부의 검색 성향을 살펴보았습니다. 그 결과 2010년에 가장 많이 검색된 성경구절이 요한복음 3장 16절이라는 것을 알게 되었습니다. 나는 그 구절이 검색 순위에서 1위를 차지한 것이 당연하다고 생각합니다. 왜냐하면, 그 말씀은 하나님이 우리를 너무나 사랑하셔서 그의 아들을 보내어 죄로부터 우리를 구원하고 영생을 준다는 것을 말하고 있기 때문입니다. 검색 순위 10위를 차지한 구절은 예수님이 제자들에게 복음을 전하라고 명하신 “너희는 가서 모든 민족을 제자로 삼아”(마 28:19)라는 말씀입니다. 10위 안에 든 다른 구절로는 하나님의 백성을 위한 그의 선하신 계획과 뜻이 담겨 있는 예레미야 29장 11절과 로마서 8장 28절이 있습니다. 성경은 찾아내어 서로 나누어야 할 진리로 가득차 있습니다. 성경에서 가장 긴 시편 119편에서 시편기자는 하나님 말씀에 관한 자신의 생각과 함께, 말씀을 구하고 하나님으로부터 배우고 싶어 하는 소망을 드러내고 있습니다. 그는 “내가 주의 법을 어찌 그리 사랑하는지요”(97절)라고 하였습니다. 시편기자가 왜 하나님의 말씀을 그토록 사랑하는지 오늘 읽은 성경본문에서 몇 가지 이유를 찾아볼 수 있습니다. 하나님의 말씀은 지혜와 명철을 주고, 악한 길로 가지 않게 하고, 달콤하기 때문입니다. 그래서 시편기자는 말씀을 온종일 묵상하였던 것입니다. 성경 읽을 시간을 갖도록 해보십시오. 하나님 말씀을 더 읽을수록 그 말씀과 저자인 하나님에 대한 사랑도 더욱 커질 것입니다(97절).

Psalm 119:97-104

[97] Oh, how I love Your law! It is my meditation all the day.
[98] You, through Your commandments, make me wiser than my enemies; For they are ever with me.
[99] I have more understanding than all my teachers, For Your testimonies are my meditation.
[100] I understand more than the ancients, Because I keep Your precepts.
[101] I have restrained my feet from every evil way, That I may keep Your word.
[102] I have not departed from Your judgments, For You Yourself have taught me.
[103] How sweet are Your words to my taste, Sweeter than honey to my mouth!
[104] Through Your precepts I get understanding; Therefore I hate every false way.

성경의 보물창고를 찾아보라
광부가 광석을 찾아 땅을 파는 것처럼
찾으라, 그러면 마음을 풍요롭게 할 보물들을
반드시 찾을 것이다

성경을 읽을수록 성경의 저자인 하나님을 더 사랑하게 될 것이다.

시편 119:97-104

[97] 내가 주의 법을 어찌 그리 사랑하는지요 내가 그것을 종일 묵상하나이다
[98] 주의 계명이 항상 나와 함께 하므로 그것이 나로 원수보다 지혜롭게 하나이다
[99] 내가 주의 증거를 묵상하므로 나의 명철함이 나의 모든 스승보다 승하며
[100] 주의 법도를 지키므로 나의 명철함이 노인보다 승하니이다
[101] 내가 주의 말씀을 지키려고 발을 금하여 모든 악한 길로 가지 아니하였사오며
[102] 주께서 나를 가르치셨으므로 내가 주의 규례에서 떠나지 아니하였나이다
[103] 주의 말씀의 맛이 내게 어찌 그리 단지요 내 입에 꿀보다 더하니이다
[104] 주의 법도로 인하여 내가 명철케 되었으므로 모든 거짓 행위를 미워하나이다
