[ Psalms 90:1 - 90:12 ] - hymn 71 So teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom. -Psalm 90:12 We live in a society that's overrun with warning labels. From dis-claimers on pills, to "use-by" dates on soup cans, to danger signs on chain saws-warning labels draw our atten-tion to impending hazards. Recently I received a box with a precious gift inside. The sender had attached a big red sticker to the package that said, fragile: handle with care. When I think about life and its fragility, I wonder if we shouldn't all wear one of those red stickers. It's not a good idea to cruise through life thinking that we are invincible and that everything is going to be just fine-only to discover that we are far more fragile than we thought. It takes only a call from the doctor telling us that we have a life-threatening disease, or the swerve of a careless driver in front of us to remind us that life is extremely uncertain. There are no guarantees! None of us can be certain of another breath. So the psalmist has an important piece of advice ... a warning la-bel of sorts: "Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom"(Ps.90:12). Let's choose to live as though this were our last moment on earth by loving more deeply, forgiving more readily, giv-ing more generously, and speaking more kindly. That's how to handle life with care. - Joe Stowell		[ 시편 90:1 - 90:12 ] - 찬송가 71 장 우리에게 우리 날 계수함을 가르치사 지혜로운 마음을 얻게 하소서 - 시편 90:12 우리는 경고 문구가 넘쳐나는 시대에 살고 있습니다. 약에 있는 주의문구로부터 수프 캔에 있는 유통기한, 체인톱의 위험표시까지, 경고 문구는 곧 다가올 위험에 대해 우리의 주의를 환기시켜줍니다. 나는 최근에 귀중한 선물이 들어있는 상자를 하나 받았습니다. 물건을 보낸 사람은 상자에 ‘깨지기 쉬움:취급주의’라고 쓴 커다란 빨간색 스티커를 붙였습니다. 인생에 대하여, 그리고 깨어지기 쉬운 인생의 덧없음에 대하여 생각하면, 우리 모두가 그런 빨간 스티커를 붙이고 살아야 하지 않을까 라는 생각이 듭니다. 세상에 우리를 당할 게 없고 모든 것이 다 괜찮을 거라고 생각하는 것은 인생을 항해함에 있어서 좋은 생각이 아닙니다. 우리는 우리가 생각하는 것보다 훨씬 더 깨지기 쉽다는 것을 알게 될 뿐입니다. 생명을 위협하는 병에 걸렸다는 의사의 전화 한 통이나, 우리 앞에서 차선을 갑자기 변경하는 부주의한 운전자 한 사람만으로도 우리는 인생이 너무나 불확실하다는 것을 알게 됩니다. 확실한 보장은 어디에도 없습니다! 어느 누구도 다음에 숨을 쉴 수 있을지 확신할 수 없습니다. 그래서 시편기자는 오늘날의 경고문과 같은 중요한 충고 하나를 들려줍니다. “우리에게 우리 날 계수함을 가르치사 지혜로운 마음을 얻게 하소서”(시 90:12). 지금이 이 땅에서의 우리의 마지막 순간인 것처럼, 더 깊이 사랑하고, 더 쉽게 용서하고, 더 너그럽게 베풀고, 더 친절하게 말하는 삶을 살기로 합시다. 그것이 삶을 주의해서 취급하는 것입니다.

Psalm 90:1-12

[1] A Prayer of Moses the man of God. LORD, You have been our dwelling place in all generations.
[2] Before the mountains were brought forth, Or ever You had formed the earth and the world, Even from everlasting to everlasting, You are God.
[3] You turn man to destruction, And say, "Return, O children of men."
[4] For a thousand years in Your sight Are like yesterday when it is past, And like a watch in the night.
[5] You carry them away like a flood; They are like a sleep. In the morning they are like grass which grows up£º
[6] In the morning it flourishes and grows up; In the evening it is cut down and withers.
[7] For we have been consumed by Your anger, And by Your wrath we are terrified.
[8] You have set our iniquities before You, Our secret sins in the light of Your countenance.
[9] For all our days have passed away in Your wrath; We finish our years like a sigh.
[10] The days of our lives are seventy years; And if by reason of strength they are eighty years, Yet their boast is only labor and sorrow; For it is soon cut off, and we fly away.
[11] Who knows the power of Your anger? For as the fear of You, so is Your wrath.
[12] So teach us to number our days, That we may gain a heart of wisdom.

그리스도 안에서의 삶을 경주하기 위하여
매일의 목표는 다음과 같아야 하니
죄를 고백하고, 하나님의 능력을 신뢰하고
법도를 지키고, 자기절제를 하자

어제는 지나갔고, 내일은 불확실하고, 오늘은 여기에 있다.
오늘을 현명하게 사용하라.

시편 90:1-12

[1] [하나님의 사람 모세의 기도] 주여 주는 대대에 우리의 거처가 되셨나이다
[2] 산이 생기기 전, 땅과 세계도 주께서 조성하시기 전 곧 영원부터 영원까지 주는 하나님이시니이다
[3] 주께서 사람을 티끌로 돌아가게 하시고 말씀하시기를 너희 인생들은 돌아가라 하셨사오니
[4] 주의 목전에는 천 년이 지나간 어제 같으며 밤의 한 경점 같을 뿐임이니이다
[5] 주께서 저희를 홍수처럼 쓸어 가시나이다 저희는 잠간 자는 것 같으며 아침에 돋는 풀 같으니이다
[6] 풀은 아침에 꽃이 피어 자라다가 저녁에는 벤바 되어 마르나이다
[7] 우리는 주의 노에 소멸되며 주의 분내심에 놀라나이다
[8] 주께서 우리의 죄악을 주의 앞에 놓으시며 우리의 은밀한 죄를 주의 얼굴 빛 가운데 두셨사오니
[9] 우리의 모든 날이 주의 분노 중에 지나가며 우리의 평생이 일식간에 다하였나이다
[10] 우리의 년수가 칠십이요 강건하면 팔십이라도 그 년수의 자랑은 수고와 슬픔뿐이요 신속히 가니 우리가 날아가나이다
[11] 누가 주의 노의 능력을 알며 누가 주를 두려워하여야 할대로 주의 진노를 알리이까
[12] 우리에게 우리 날 계수함을 가르치사 지혜의 마음을 얻게 하소서
