Thank God For Music		음악이 있음에 하나님께 감사하라
[ 2 Chronicles 5:7 - 5:14 ] - hymn 46 When the trumpeters and singers were as one, ... the glory of the Lord filled the house of God. — 2 Chronicles 5:13-14 Music plays a big part in the Bible. From Genesis to Revelation, God enlists musicians to work on His behalf. He uses music to call people to worship and to send them to war, to soothe ragged emotions and to ignite spiritual passion, to celebrate victories and to mourn losses. Music is an all-occasion, all-inclusive art form. There are followers and leaders, simple songs and complex songs, easy instruments and difficult instruments, melodies and harmonies, fast rhythms and slow rhythms, high notes and low notes. Music is a wonderful metaphor for the church because everyone participates by doing what he or she does best. We all sing or play different notes at different times, but we all perform the same song. The better we know our parts, and the better we follow the conductor, the more beautiful the music. One of the best uses for music is praise. When Solomon¡¯s temple was completed, the musicians praised and thanked God. As they did, ¡°the glory of the Lord filled the house of God¡±(2 Chron.5:14). We thank God for beautiful music, for it¡¯s like a preview of heaven, where the glory of God will dwell forever and where praise for Him will never cease.		[ 역대하 5:7 - 5:14 ] - 찬송가 46 장 나팔 부는 자와 노래하는 자가 일제히 소리를 발하여... 이는 여호와의 영광이 하나님의 전에 가득함이었더라 - 역대하 5:13-14 음악은 성경에서 큰 비중을 차지하고 있습니다. 창세기로부터 요한계시록에 이르기까지 하나님께서는 음악가들로 하여금 자신을 대신해서 일하도록 하셨습니다. 하나님은 음악을 사용하여 사람들을 예배에 모이게 하시고 전쟁터에 내보내시며, 상한 마음을 달래시고 영적 열정을 불러일으키시며, 승리를 축하하고 죽은 자들을 추모하십니다. 음악은 모든 경우에 사용될 수 있는 포괄적인 예술형태입니다. 음악에는 지휘자와 그를 따르는 단원들이 있고 간단한 노래와 복잡한 노래가 있으며, 쉬운 악기와 어려운 악기가 있고, 멜로디가 있는가하면 화음이 있으며, 빠른 리듬과 느린 리듬이 있고, 높은 음이 있는 반면에 낮은 음들도 있습니다. 음악은 교회에 대한 참으로 훌륭한 비유입니다. 왜냐하면 모든 사람들이 자기가 가장 잘하는 분야에 참여해서 일을 하기 때문입니다. 우리는 모두가 각자 다른 음으로 다른 때에 소리를 내지만 우리 모두는 하나의 같은 음악을 연주합니다. 우리 각자가 해야 할 역할을 더 잘 하고 또 지휘자를 잘 따르면 따를수록 더 아름다운 음악을 연주하게 되는 것입니다. 음악을 가장 잘 사용하는 방법은 하나님께 찬양 드리는 것입니다. 솔로몬의 성전이 완공되었을 때 음악가들은 찬양으로 하나님께 감사를 드렸습니다. 그렇게 했을 때 “여호와의 영광이 하나님의 전에 가득”하였습니다(대하 5:14). 하나님의 영원한 영광과 하나님을 향한 영원한 찬양이 계속되는 천국의 모습을 미리 보는 것과 같은 아름다운 음악이 있음에 하나님께 감사드립니다.

Those who praise God on earth will feel at home in heaven.

2 Chronicles 5:7-14

[7] Then the priests brought in the ark of the covenant of the LORD to its place, into the inner sanctuary of the temple, to the Most Holy Place, under the wings of the cherubim.
[8] For the cherubim spread their wings over the place of the ark, and the cherubim overshadowed the ark and its poles.
[9] And the poles extended so that the ends of the poles of the ark could be seen from the holy place, in front of the inner sanctuary; but they could not be seen from outside. And they are there to this day.
[10] Nothing was in the ark except the two tablets which Moses put there at Horeb, when the LORD made a covenant with the children of Israel, when they had come out of Egypt.
[11] And it came to pass when the priests came out of the Most Holy Place (for all the priests who were present had sanctified themselves, without keeping to their divisions),
[12] and the Levites who were the singers, all those of Asaph and Heman and Jeduthun, with their sons and their brethren, stood at the east end of the altar, clothed in white linen, having cymbals, stringed instruments and harps, and with them one hundred and twenty priests sounding with trumpets--
[13] indeed it came to pass, when the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the LORD, and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music, and praised the LORD, saying: "For He is good, For His mercy endures forever," that the house, the house of the LORD, was filled with a cloud,
[14] so that the priests could not continue ministering because of the cloud; for the glory of the LORD filled the house of God.

주님을 경축하고 그를 위한 찬양을 드리세
내 영혼아 지금 주님을 송축하세
온 천국이 부르는 찬양에 같이 동참하세
천국의 노래를 다 같이 크게 부르세

이 땅에서 하나님을 찬양하는 성도들이 천국에 가면
내 집에 온 것 같이 느끼게 된다.

역대하 5:7-14

[7] 제사장들이 여호와의 언약궤를 그 처소로 메어 들였으니 곧 본 전 지성소 그룹들의 날개 아래라
[8] 그룹들이 궤 처소 위에서 날개를 펴서 궤와 그 채를 덮었는데
[9] 그 채가 길어서 궤에서 나오므로 그 끝이 본전 앞에서 보이나 밖에서는 보이지 아니하며 그 궤가 오늘까지 그 곳에 있으며
[10] 궤 안에는 두 돌판 외에 아무것도 없으니 이것은 이스라엘 자손이 애굽에서 나온 후 여호와께서 그들과 언약을 세우실 때에 모세가 호렙에서 그 안에 넣은 것이더라
[11] 이 때에는 제사장들이 그 반열대로 하지 아니하고 스스로 정결하게 하고 성소에 있다가 나오매
[12] 노래하는 레위 사람 아삽과 헤만과 여두둔과 그의 아들들과 형제들이 다 세마포를 입고 제단 동쪽에 서서 제금과 비파와 수금을 잡고 또 나팔 부는 제사장 백이십 명이 함께 서 있다가
[13] 나팔 부는 자와 노래하는 자들이 일제히 소리를 내어 여호와를 찬송하며 감사하는데 나팔 불고 제금 치고 모든 악기를 울리며 소리를 높여 여호와를 찬송하여 이르되 선하시도다 그의 자비하심이 영원히 있도다 하매 그 때에 여호와의 전에 구름이 가득한지라
[14] 제사장들이 그 구름으로 말미암아 능히 서서 섬기지 못하였으니 이는 여호와의 영광이 하나님의 전에 가득함이었더라
