Unhook The Chain		쇠사슬을 풀어버려라
[ John 14:15 - 14:24 ] - hymn 360 If you love Me, keep My commandments. — John 14:15 Jesus made it clear to His disciples that He is ¡°the way, the truth, and the life¡± (John 14:6). He is the only way to the Father, and our belief and commitment to Him results in love and obedience—and leads to an eternal home in heaven. Christina, a Bible student in Minsk, Belarus, wrote this testimony: ¡°Jesus died for everyone, even the most desperate sinner. The worst criminal who comes to Him in faith, the Lord will accept. ¡°For a very long time, Jesus had been knocking at my door. Figuratively speaking, the door to my heart was open. I was a believer. But I kept the safety chain in place. I would not turn my life over to Him.¡± Christina knew this was not right, and she felt that God was compelling her to make a change. ¡°I knelt before Him and opened the door as wide as I could.¡± She took off the chain. Committed followers of Jesus will do what He commands—without safety chains or back doors. No reserving little corners of our lives all for ourselves. No secret sins. If, like Christina, you¡¯ve been holding back from surrendering to God, it¡¯s time to unhook that safety chain. Let go of those reservations. Throw open the doors of your life, and experience the joy of obedient discipleship.		[ 요한복음 14:15 - 14:24 ] - 찬송가 360 장 너희가 나를 사랑하면 나의 계명을 지키리라 - 요한복음 14:15 예수님은 제자들에게 자신이 “길이요 진리요 생명”임을 분명히 했습니다(요 14:6). 오직 주님만이 아버지께로 가는 길이며, 주님을 향한 우리의 믿음과 헌신이 사랑과 순종으로 나타나며, 우리를 영원한 천국 본향으로 인도합니다. 벨라루스의 수도 민스크에 사는 크리스티나라는 신학생이 이렇게 간증문을 썼습니다. “예수님은 가장 절망적인 죄인까지 포함한 우리 모두를 위해 돌아가셨습니다. 가장 나쁜 죄인이 믿음으로 주께 나아오면 주님은 받아 주실 것입니다.” “예수님은 아주 오랫동안 제 문을 두드리셨습니다. 은유적으로 표현하자면 제 마음의 문은 열려 있었습니다. 저는 믿는 사람이었습니다. 그러나 저는 방범 체인을 걸어두었습니다. 저는 제 삶을 주님께 드리지는 않았습니다.” 크리스티나는 그것이 옳지 않은 것을 알았고 하나님께서 그녀가 달라질 것을 강권한다고 느꼈습니다. “저는 주님 앞에 무릎을 꿇고 마음의 문을 활짝 열었습니다.” 그녀는 체인을 풀었습니다. 예수님을 따르기로 작정한 사람들은 방범 체인이나 뒷문 없이 주님의 명령을 이행할 것입니다. 우리 삶 속에 나만을 위한 공간을 만들지 않을 것입니다. 비밀스러운 죄도 짓지 않습니다. 만일 당신이 크리스티나처럼 하나님께 복종하기를 망설인다면 지금이 바로 그 안전 사슬을 풀어 버릴 때입니다. 그런 주저하는 마음을 놓아 버리십시오. 당신의 삶의 문을 활짝 열고 순종하는 제자로서의 기쁨을 경험하십시오.

Less of self and more of Jesus,
More and more each day like Thee;
Just to live in full surrender
For my Lord who ransomed me. — Wonder

No life is more secure than a life surrendered to God.

John 14:15-24

[15] "If you love Me, keep My commandments.
[16] "And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever--
[17] "the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.
[18] "I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.
[19] "A little while longer and the world will see Me no more, but you will see Me. Because I live, you will live also.
[20] "At that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you.
[21] "He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him."
[22] Judas (not Iscariot) said to Him, "Lord, how is it that You will manifest Yourself to us, and not to the world?"
[23] Jesus answered and said to him, "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.
[24] "He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father's who sent Me.

내 자아는 더 적게, 예수님은 더 많이
날마다 더욱 더 주님처럼
나의 주 곧 내 몸 값 치르신 주님을 위해
완전히 복종하며 살리

하나님께 복종하는 삶보다 더 안전한 삶은 없다.

요한복음 14:15-24

[15] 너희가 나를 사랑하면 나의 계명을 지키리라
[16] 내가 아버지께 구하겠으니 그가 또 다른 보혜사를 너희에게 주사 영원토록 너희와 함께 있게 하리니
[17] 그는 진리의 영이라 세상은 능히 그를 받지 못하나니 이는 그를 보지도 못하고 알지도 못함이라 그러나 너희는 그를 아나니 그는 너희와 함께 거하심이요 또 너희 속에 계시겠음이라
[18] 내가 너희를 고아와 같이 버려두지 아니하고 너희에게로 오리라
[19] 조금 있으면 세상은 다시 나를 보지 못할 것이로되 너희는 나를 보리니 이는 내가 살아 있고 너희도 살아 있겠음이라
[20] 그 날에는 내가 아버지 안에, 너희가 내 안에, 내가 너희 안에 있는 것을 너희가 알리라
[21] 나의 계명을 지키는 자라야 나를 사랑하는 자니 나를 사랑하는 자는 내 아버지께 사랑을 받을 것이요 나도 그를 사랑하여 그에게 나를 나타내리라
[22] 가룟인 아닌 유다가 이르되 주여 어찌하여 자기를 우리에게는 나타내시고 세상에는 아니하려 하시나이까
[23] 예수께서 대답하여 이르시되 사람이 나를 사랑하면 내 말을 지키리니 내 아버지께서 그를 사랑하실 것이요 우리가 그에게 가서 거처를 그와 함께 하리라
[24] 나를 사랑하지 아니하는 자는 내 말을 지키지 아니하나니 너희가 듣는 말은 내 말이 아니요 나를 보내신 아버지의 말씀이니라
