A Perfect Fit		안성맞춤
[ Ephesians 2:1 - 2:10 ] - hymn 350 Those who have believed in God should be careful to maintain good works. —Titus 3:8 ¡°What kind of skill set do you bring?¡± That question, posed in a job interview, was intended to determine if my friend would be a good fit for a position. My friend quickly did a mental review of his skills and talents, hoping to emphasize the unique characteristics he possessed that would contribute to the success of the company. What if we already had the perfect set of skills required to accomplish what God wants us to do? Well—as a matter of fact—we do! The spiritual gifts we possess, along with our experiences, training, natural talents, and a submissive heart make up a unique individual who has the skills needed for the ¡°good works¡± that God has ¡°prepared beforehand¡±(Eph.2:10). If God has something He wants to accomplish and that you feel He is calling you to do, He will provide what you need to complete the task. Or, as one paraphrase emphasizes, God wants us ¡°to join Him in the work He does, the good work He has gotten ready for us to do¡±(Eph.2:10 The Message). The one thing He requires of us is that we ¡°be found faithful¡±(1 Cor.4:2). Have you found a place in God¡¯s service where you can be used of Him? Let¡¯s ¡°do good¡± and ¡°be rich in good works¡±(1 Tim.6:18).		[ 에베소서 2:1 - 2:10 ] - 찬송가 350 장 하나님을 믿는 자들로 하여금 조심하여 선한 일을 힘쓰게 하려 함이라 - 디도서 3:8 취업 면접 중 던져진 “당신은 어떤 기량을 갖고 계십니까?”라는 질문은 내 친구가 그 일자리에 적합한지를 판정하기 위한 것이었습니다. 내 친구는 자신의 특별한 자질이 회사의 성공에 이바지할 것을 강조하고 싶어서, 머릿속으로 재빨리 그가 가진 기술과 재능들을 검토하였습니다. 만일 하나님께서 우리에게 원하시는 것들을 달성하기에 완벽한 기량을 우리가 이미 갖고 있다면 어떨까요? 네, 실제로 우리는 가지고 있습니다! 우리에게 있는 영적인 은사와 우리의 경험, 훈련, 타고난 재능, 순종하는 마음들이 함께 어우러져, 하나님께서 “전에 예비 하신” “선한 일”(엡 2:10)을 위하여 필요한 기량을 갖춘 특별한 사람이 됩니다. 만일 하나님께서 무엇을 이루기 원하시는데 그 일을 당신이 하도록 부르고 계신다고 생각한다면 하나님께서는 당신이 그 일을 완성하는데 필요한 것을 공급하실 것입니다. 어떤 의역성경이 강조한 것처럼, 하나님께서는 우리가 “하나님이 우리가 일할 수 있도록 이미 준비해 두신 그 선한 일에 참여하기를” 원하십니다(엡 2:10, 메시지 성경/역자 번역). 그분께서 우리에게 요구하시는 단 한 가지는 “충성”(고전 4:2)입니다. 당신은 하나님의 사역에서 하나님께 쓰임 받을 수 있는 자리를 찾았습니까? 우리 모두 “선한 일을 하고”“선한 사업에 부하게”됩시다(딤전 6:18).

Spiritual gifts are meant to be used, not admired.

Ephesians 2:1-10

[1] And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins,
[2] in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience,
[3] among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others.
[4] But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us,
[5] even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved),
[6] and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,
[7] that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.
[8] For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,
[9] not of works, lest anyone should boast.
[10] For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

할 수 없는 일 때문에
부족하다고만 생각지 말고
하나님께서 주신 재능들
네가 가진 모든 것들을 생각해 보라

성령의 은사들은 감탄하기 위한 것이 아니고
사용하기 위한 것이다.

에베소서 2:1-10

[1] 그는 허물과 죄로 죽었던 너희를 살리셨도다
[2] 그 때에 너희는 그 가운데서 행하여 이 세상 풍조를 따르고 공중의 권세 잡은 자를 따랐으니 곧 지금 불순종의 아들들 가운데서 역사하는 영이라
[3] 전에는 우리도 다 그 가운데서 우리 육체의 욕심을 따라 지내며 육체와 마음이 원하는 것을 하여 다른 이들과 같이 본질상 진노의 자녀이었더니
[4] 긍휼이 풍성하신 하나님이 우리를 사랑하신 그 큰 사랑을 인하여
[5] 허물로 죽은 우리를 그리스도와 함께 살리셨고 (너희는 은혜로 구원을 받은 것이라)
[6] 또 함께 일으키사 그리스도 예수 안에서 함께 하늘에 앉히시니
[7] 이는 그리스도 예수 안에서 우리에게 자비하심으로써 그 은혜의 지극히 풍성함을 오는 여러 세대에 나타내려 하심이라
[8] 너희는 그 은혜에 의하여 믿음으로 말미암아 구원을 받았으니 이것은 너희에게서 난 것이 아니요 하나님의 선물이라
[9] 행위에서 난 것이 아니니 이는 누구든지 자랑하지 못하게 함이라
[10] 우리는 그가 만드신 바라 그리스도 예수 안에서 선한 일을 위하여 지으심을 받은 자니 이 일은 하나님이 전에 예비하사 우리로 그 가운데서 행하게 하려 하심이니라
