Collision Course		피할 수 없는 충돌
[ 2 Samuel 12:1 - 12:15 ] - hymn 336 Be sure your sin will find you out. — Numbers 32:23 My wife and I were driving on an expressway when we saw a driver turn left into a median turnaround that was intended for emergency vehicles only. He was planning to make a U-turn and head back the other way. Looking to his right, the driver waited for an opening in oncoming traffic, so he failed to notice that a police car was backing up toward him on his left. Finally seeing an opening in traffic, the U-turn driver pulled out and rammed into the back of the police car. It¡¯s not unusual for us to think we can get away with doing something wrong. After King David committed adultery with Bathsheba, he too was focused on ¡°getting away with it.¡± But he was on a collision course with Nathan. His adultery, deceit, and murder ¡°displeased the Lord¡±(2 Sam.11:27), so when Nathan exposed David¡¯s grievous sin, the king was deeply remorseful. He confessed, repented, and received God¡¯s forgiveness. But the consequences of his sin never departed from his household(12:10). If you¡¯ve been trying to get away with something, remember that ¡°your sin will find you out¡±(Num.32:23). Turn yourself in to God. Don¡¯t hide. Instead, seek His gracious forgiveness.		[ 사무엘하 12:1 - 12:15 ] - 찬송가 336 장 너희 죄가 정녕 너희를 찾아낼 줄 알라-민수기 32:23 나와 아내가 고속도로를 가고 있던 중에 한 운전자가 응급 차량 전용인 도로 중앙의 차량 회전 구역으로 좌회전해서 들어가는 것을 보았습니다. 그는 U턴을 해서 반대 방향으로 가려고 했습니다. 그 운전자는 자기의 오른 쪽을 보면서 주행하는 차들 사이에 끼어들 틈을 찾느라 경찰차가 왼편에서 자기 쪽으로 후진하는 것을 보지 못했습니다. 마침내 빈틈을 보고 출발하던 그 U턴 운전자는 경찰차 뒤를 그대로 들이받고 말았습니다. 우리는 흔히 잘못을 저지르고도 무사히 지나갈 수 있다고 여깁니다. 다윗 왕이 밧세바와 간음을 행한 후에 그도 “무사히 지나가기”에 몰두했습니다. 그러나 그는 나단과의 충돌을 피할 수 없었습니다. 그의 간음과 기만과 살인은 “여호와 보시기에 악하였고”(삼하 11:27), 나단이 다윗의 중대한 죄를 폭로했을 때 다윗왕은 깊이 후회하였습니다. 그는 자백하고 회개하였으며 하나님의 용서를 받았습니다. 그러나 그의 죄의 결과는 그의 가족들에게서 영영 떠나지 아니하였습니다(12:10). 만약 당신이 어떤 잘못을 저지르고도 무사하길 바라고 있다면 “너희 죄가 정녕 너희를 찾아낼 줄 알라”(민 32:23)라고 하신 말씀을 기억하십시오. 하나님께 자백하십시오. 숨지 마십시오. 대신 하나님의 자비로우신 용서를 구하십시오.

We have to face our sins before we can put them behind us.

2 Samuel 12:1-15

[1] Then the LORD sent Nathan to David. And he came to him, and said to him: "There were two men in one city, one rich and the other poor.
[2] "The rich man had exceedingly many flocks and herds.
[3] "But the poor man had nothing, except one little ewe lamb which he had bought and nourished; and it grew up together with him and with his children. It ate of his own food and drank from his own cup and lay in his bosom; and it was like a daughter to him.
[4] "And a traveler came to the rich man, who refused to take from his own flock and from his own herd to prepare one for the wayfaring man who had come to him; but he took the poor man's lamb and prepared it for the man who had come to him."
[5] So David's anger was greatly aroused against the man, and he said to Nathan, "As the LORD lives, the man who has done this shall surely die!
[6] "And he shall restore fourfold for the lamb, because he did this thing and because he had no pity."
[7] Then Nathan said to David, "You are the man! Thus says the LORD God of Israel: 'I anointed you king over Israel, and I delivered you from the hand of Saul.
[8] 'I gave you your master's house and your master's wives into your keeping, and gave you the house of Israel and Judah. And if that had been too little, I also would have given you much more!
[9] 'Why have you despised the commandment of the LORD, to do evil in His sight? You have killed Uriah the Hittite with the sword; you have taken his wife to be your wife, and have killed him with the sword of the people of Ammon.
[10] 'Now therefore, the sword shall never depart from your house, because you have despised Me, and have taken the wife of Uriah the Hittite to be your wife.'
[11] "Thus says the LORD: 'Behold, I will raise up adversity against you from your own house; and I will take your wives before your eyes and give them to your neighbor, and he shall lie with your wives in the sight of this sun.
[12] 'For you did it secretly, but I will do this thing before all Israel, before the sun.'"
[13] So David said to Nathan, "I have sinned against the LORD." And Nathan said to David, "The LORD also has put away your sin; you shall not die.
[14] "However, because by this deed you have given great occasion to the enemies of the LORD to blaspheme, the child also who is born to you shall surely die."
[15] Then Nathan departed to his house. And the LORD struck the child that Uriah's wife bore to David, and it became ill.

하나님은 우리 생각과 행동 모두를 아시네
하나님으로부터 우리는 숨을 수 없네
하나님께 고백하면 용서해 주시리
십자가에 못 박히신 그리스도를 통하여

죄를 넘어서기 위해서는 먼저 그 죄를 직면해야 한다.

사무엘하 12:1-15

[1] 여호와에서 나단을 다윗에게 보내시니 그가 다윗에게 가서 그에게 이르되 한 성읍에 두 사람이 있는데 한 사람은 부하고 한 사람은 가난하니
[2] 그 부한 사람은 양과 소가 심히 많으나
[3] 가난한 사람은 아무것도 없고 자기가 사서 기르는 작은 암양 새끼 한 마리뿐이라 그 암양 새끼는 그와 그의 자식과 함께 자라며 그가 먹는 것을 먹으며 그의 잔으로 마시며 그의 품에 누우므로 그에게는 딸처럼 되었거늘
[4] 어떤 행인이 그 부자에게 오매 부자가 자기에게 온 행인을 위하여 자기의 양과 소를 아껴 잡지 아니하고 가난한 사람의 양 새끼를 빼앗아다가 자기에게 온 사람을 위하여 잡았나이다 하니
[5] 다윗이 그 사람으로 말미암아 노하여 나단에게 이르되 여호와의 살아 계심을 두고 맹세하노니 이 일을 행한 그 사람은 마땅히 죽을 자라
[6] 그가 불쌍히 여기지 아니하고 이런 일을 행하였으니 그 양 새끼를 네 배나 갚아 주어야 하리라 한지라
[7] 나단이 다윗에게 이르되 당신이 그 사람이라 이스라엘의 하나님 여호와께서 이와 같이 이르시기를 내가 너를 이스라엘 왕으로 기름 붓기 위하여 너를 사울의 손에서 구원하고
[8] 네 주인의 집을 네게 주고 네 주인의 아내들을 네 품에 두고 이스라엘과 유다 족속을 네게 맡겼느니라 만일 그것이 부족하였을 것 같으면 내가 네게 이것 저것을 더 주었으리라
[9] 그러한데 어찌하여 네가 여호와의 말씀을 업신여기고 나 보기에 악을 행하였느냐 네가 칼로 헷 사람 우리아를 치되 암몬 자손의 칼로 죽이고 그의 아내를 빼앗아 네 아내로 삼았도다
[10] 이제 네가 나를 업신여기고 헷 사람 우리아의 아내를 빼앗아 네 아내로 삼았은즉 칼이 네 집에서 영원토록 떠나지 아니하리라 하셨고
[11] 여호와께서 또 이와 같이 이르시기를 보라 내가 너와 네 집에 재앙을 일으키고 내가 네 눈 앞에서 네 아내를 빼앗아 네 이웃들에게 주리니 그 사람들이 네 아내들과 더불어 백주에 동침하리라
[12] 너는 은밀히 행하였으나 나는 온 이스라엘 앞에서 백주에 이 일을 행하리라 하셨나이다 하니
[13] 다윗이 나단에게 이르되 내가 여호와께 죄를 범하였노라 하매 나단이 다윗에게 말하되 여호와께서도 당신의 죄를 사하셨나니 당신이 죽지 아니하려니와
[14] 이 일로 말미암아 여호와의 원수가 크게 비방할 거리를 얻게 하였으니 당신이 낳은 아이가 반드시 죽으리이다 하고
[15] 나단이 자기 집으로 돌아가니라 우리아의 아내가 다윗에게 낳은 아이를 여호와께서 치시매 심히 앓는지라
