A Clear View		뚜렷한 시야
[ Matthew 5:1 - 5:12 ] - hymn 485 Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. — Matthew 5:8 The Gran Telescopio Canarias, one of the world¡¯s most powerful telescopes, sits atop an extinct volcano on La Palma, Canary Islands. Inaugurated in July 2009 by King Carlos of Spain, it offers astronomers an unusually clear view of the heavens. Located at 7,870 feet, the telescope is above the cloud cover, where the prevailing winds are dry and turbulence-free. Here, near the equator, scientists can study all of the Northern Celestial Hemisphere and part of the Southern. Jesus chose a mountainside to teach His followers about the characteristics of a life yielded to God. There He taught them that attitude, not altitude, was the key to having a clear view of the Father. Tucked into the passage known as the Beatitudes, Jesus said: ¡°Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God¡±(Matt.5:8). This is not just for the few who try to achieve it, but for all who will humbly receive it. To have a heart that is clean in God¡¯s eyes, we need to accept the Father¡¯s pardon through Christ His Son. ¡°If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse [purify] us from all unrighteousness¡±(1 John 1:9). A mountaintop is a great place to see the stars, but to clearly see God requires a change of heart.		[ 마태복음 5:1 - 5:12 ] - 찬송가 485 장 마음이 청결한 자는 복이 있나니 저희가 하나님을 볼 것임이요 －마태복음 5:8 세계에서 가장 성능이 좋은 망원경 중의 하나인 그랜텔레스코피오카나리아스는 카나리아 군도 라팔마의 사화산 꼭대기에 설치되어 있습니다. 이 망원경은 2009년 7월 카를로스 스페인 국왕에 의해 가동이 시작되었는데, 천문학자들에게 아주 선명한 하늘을 볼 수 있게 해줍니다. 이 망원경은 구름층 보다 높아, 항상 바람이 건조하고 난기류가 없는 고도 약 2,400미터에 설치되어 있습니다. 이곳 적도 부근에서 과학자들은 북반구 천체 모두와 남반구 천체의 일부를 연구할 수가 있습니다. 예수님은 그를 따르는 사람들에게 하나님께 헌신하는 삶의 특징에 대해 가르치기 위해 산기슭에 자리를 잡으셨습니다. 그곳에서 예수님은 산의 높이가 아니라 마음가짐이 하나님 아버지를 분명하게 볼 수 있는 열쇠라고 가르치셨습니다. 팔복이라 불리는 구절 가운데 예수님은 “마음이 청결한 자는 복이 있나니 저희가 하나님을 볼 것임이요”(마 5:8)라고 말씀하셨습니다. 이 말씀은 단지 그것을 달성하려는 소수의 사람들만을 위한 것이 아니라, 겸손하게 그 말씀을 받으려는 우리 모두를 향한 말씀입니다. 하나님 보시기에 정결한 마음을 갖기 위해, 우리는 하나님의 아들 그리스도를 통한 하나님의 용서를 받아들여야 합니다. “만일 우리가 우리 죄를 자백하면 저는 미쁘시고 의로우사 우리 죄를 사하시며 모든 불의에서 우리를 깨끗케 하실 것이요”(요일 1:9). 별을 보기에는 산꼭대기가 아주 적합한 장소입니다. 그러나 하나님을 분명하게 보려면 마음의 변화가 필요합니다.

To get a clear view of God, focus on Jesus Christ.

Matthew 5:1-12

[1] And seeing the multitudes, He went up on a mountain, and when He was seated His disciples came to Him.
[2] Then He opened His mouth and taught them, saying:
[3] "Blessed are the poor in spirit, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
[4] Blessed are those who mourn, For they shall be comforted.
[5] Blessed are the meek, For they shall inherit the earth.
[6] Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, For they shall be filled.
[7] Blessed are the merciful, For they shall obtain mercy.
[8] Blessed are the pure in heart, For they shall see God.
[9] Blessed are the peacemakers, For they shall be called sons of God.
[10] Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
[11] "Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake.
[12] "Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

믿음으로 인해 밝은 시야를 가진 이후
하나님의 축복된 말씀이 풍요롭고 새롭네
죄로 인해 왜곡된 시각을 가진 사람들은
말씀 속의 모든 보화를 볼 수가 없네

하나님을 분명하게 보려면 예수 그리스도께 초점을 맞춰야 한다.

마태복음 5:1-12

[1] 예수께서 무리를 보시고 산에 올라가 앉으시니 제자들이 나아온지라
[2] 입을 열어 가르쳐 이르시되
[3] 심령이 가난한 자는 복이 있나니 천국이 그들의 것임이요
[4] 애통하는 자는 복이 있나니 그들이 위로를 받을 것임이요
[5] 온유한 자는 복이 있나니 그들이 땅을 기업으로 받을 것임이요
[6] 의에 주리고 목마른 자는 복이 있나니 그들이 배부를 것임이요
[7] 긍휼히 여기는 자는 복이 있나니 그들이 긍휼히 여김을 받을 것임이요
[8] 마음이 청결한 자는 복이 있나니 그들이 하나님을 볼 것임이요
[9] 화평케 하는 자는 복이 있나니 그들이 하나님의 아들이라 일컬음을 받을 것임이요
[10] 의를 위하여 핍박을 받은 자는 복이 있나니 천국이 그들의 것임이라
[11] 나로 말미암아 너희를 욕하고 박해하고 거짓으로 너희를 거슬러 모든 악한 말을 할 때에는 너희에게 복이 있나니
[12] 기뻐하고 즐거워하라 하늘에서 너희의 상이 큼이라 너희 전에 있던 선지자들도 이같이 박해하였느니라
