Amazing!		놀랍습니다!
[ Matthew 1:18 - 1:25 ] - hymn 115 Then Joseph, being aroused from sleep, did as the angel of the Lord commanded him and took to him his wife. — Matthew 1:24 The Christmas story, recorded in Matthew and Luke, has become so familiar that I wonder if we grasp the reality of what actually happened: An angel told a young virgin that she would conceive a child by the power of the Holy Spirit (Luke 1:26-38). The angel then told her fiancée to marry her and name the baby Jesus, ¡°for He will save His people from their sins¡± (Matt. 1:21). Shepherds saw angels in the sky and were told of a Savior¡¯s birth in Bethlehem (Luke 2:11). Wise men traveled hundreds of miles to worship the One who, they said, ¡°has been born King of the Jews¡±(Matt.2:2). Amazing! Equally astonishing is that Mary, Joseph, the shepherds, and the wise men did exactly as they had been told. Mary yielded herself to God; Joseph took her home as his wife; the shepherds went to Bethlehem to find the baby in a manger; and the wise men followed the star. With no idea of the outcome, they all took the next step by faith in the Lord. Amazing! How is it with us this Christmas? Will we trust God and follow His leading even when we face uncertainty and overwhelming circumstances? When you and I obey the Lord, the outcome is truly amazing!		[ 마태복음 1:18 - 1:25 ] - 찬송가 115 장 요셉이 잠을 깨어 일어나서 주의 사자의 분부대로 행하여 그 아내를 데려왔으나－마태복음 1:24 마태복음과 누가복음에 기록된 성탄절 이야기는 너무도 잘 알려져 있어서 정말로 일어났던 일들이 사실임을 우리가 제대로 파악하고 있는지 의아스러울 때도 있습니다. 한 천사가 젊은 처녀에게 나타나 성령의 능력으로 그녀가 임신을 할 것이라고 말하였습니다(눅 1:26-38). 천사는 다시 그녀의 약혼자에게 나타나 그녀와 결혼을 하라고 말하며 “그가 자기 백성을 저희 죄에서 구원할 자이시니” 아기의 이름을 예수라 하라고 말하였습니다(마 1:21). 목동들은 하늘의 천사들을 보았고 베들레헴에서 태어날 구원자에 대해서 들었습니다(눅 2:11). 동방박사들은 “유대인의 왕으로 나신 이”에게 예배드리려 수백 마일을 걸어왔습니다(마 2:2). 놀랍습니다! 또 하나 놀라운 사실은 마리아, 요셉, 목동들, 그리고 동방박사들이 모두 다 그들이 들었던바 그대로 행했다는 것입니다. 마리아는 하나님께 복종했고, 요셉은 마리아를 아내로 맞아들였고, 목동들은 구유에 놓인 아기를 찾으러 베들레헴으로 갔고, 그리고 동방박사들은 별을 따라 찾아왔습니다. 그들은 모두 앞으로 전개될 일을 전혀 모른 채 주님을 믿는 믿음으로 계속 나아갔습니다. 놀랍습니다! 이번 성탄절에 우리는 어떻게 할까요? 불확실하고 감당하기 어려운 상황을 만난다 해도 하나님을 믿으며 주님의 인도하심을 따르겠습니까? 우리가 주님께 복종한다면 결과는 진정 놀라울 것입니다!

Matthew 1:18-25

[18] Now the birth of Jesus Christ was as follows£º After His mother Mary was betrothed to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Spirit.
[19] Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not wanting to make her a public example, was minded to put her away secretly.
[20] But while he thought about these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, "Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take to you Mary your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit.
[21] "And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name JESUS, for He will save His people from their sins."
[22] So all this was done that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying£º
[23] "Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel," which is translated, "God with us."
[24] Then Joseph, being aroused from sleep, did as the angel of the Lord commanded him and took to him his wife,
[25] and did not know her till she had brought forth her firstborn Son. And he called His name JESUS.

하나님의 인도를 따르고
믿음과 순종으로 한걸음 내딛는 것은
길이 보이지 않을 때
언제나 우리가 따라야 할 길이라네

믿음이란 어디로 인도되는지 알지 못하지만
인도하시는 주님을 알며 사랑하는 것이다.

마태복음 1:18-25

[18] 예수 그리스도의 나심은 이러하니라 그의 어머니 마리아가 요셉과 약혼하고 동거하기 전에 성령으로 잉태된 것이 나타났더니
[19] 그의 남편 요셉은 의로운 사람이라 그를 드러내지 아니하고 가만히 끊고자 하여
[20] 이 일을 생각할 때에 주의 사자가 현몽하여 이르되 다윗의 자손 요셉아 네 아내 마리아 데려오기를 무서워하지 말라 그에게 잉태된 자는 성령으로 된 것이라
[21] 아들을 낳으리니 이름을 예수라 하라 이는 그가 자기 백성을 그들의 죄에서 구원할 자이심이라 하니라
[22] 이 모든 일이 된 것은 주께서 선지자로 하신 말씀을 이루려 하심이니 이르시되
[23] 보라 처녀가 잉태하여 아들을 낳을 것이요 그의 이름은 임마누엘이라 하리라 하셨으니 이를 번역한즉 하나님이 우리와 함께 계시다 함이라
[24] 요셉이 잠에서 깨어 일어나 주의 사자의 분부대로 행하여 그의 아내를 데려왔으나
[25] 아들을 낳기까지 동침하지 아니하더니 낳으매 이름을 예수라 하니라
